THE death of Amos Oveh, boy knocked down to death by Khali Almakura, son of Nasarawa State Governor, has continued to generate sympathy with information littering the state that Amos is the only son of his parents. The son of Governor Umaru Tanko Al- makura had knocked down a JSS 2 student of Government Science School, Lafia, on Sunday night, while he was allegedly returning from a night club drunk. A source at the Government Science School, Lafia, School of the late student, who did not want his name in print disclosed this to Nigerian Tribune on Tuesday He explained that, said the diseased student was the only child of the family and the death of the boy is causing a lot of trauma in the family. He added that, the student had already been buried at Mada Station village of Nassarawa- Eggon Local Government Area of the state on Monday March 20. Meanwhile,the Nasarawa State Police Command said it would prosecute the culprit that killed the student of Government Science School Lafia. The State Commissioner of Police Abubakar Sadiq Bello who disclosed this to newsmen on Tuesday in Lafia, said as soon as investigation is concluded the culprit would be charge to court. According to the Commissioner, the culprit slept at the police cell and is still in detention pending the completion of investigation. Bello therefore assured members of the public that the police would do everything possible to protect lives and properties in the state.
