We are hiring: Are you web designer / developer?

A growing IT firm in Lagos is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web design and development. This employee will work closely with the project managers and customers to design, code and test web functionality in order to meet the needs of customers. Tasks require strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure and still keep to deadlines. The individual should also have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, be an efficient team player and have a passion for agile development. Attractive renumeration.

Requirements:

- Good knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX operating system
- Experienced in processing data sets with database management technoogies like MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or NoSQL.
- Good knowledge of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, SQL.
- Good design sense and knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop or Fireworks.
- Awareness of good OO design principles and how to apply them.
- MVC experience or at least a strong grasp of frameworks.
- Knowledge of JQuery, Ajax, JSON, DOM manipulation, cross-browser copatibility issues.

Academic Qualification:

A minimum of OND in computer science or related field, Web Technologies or Multimedia Certifications considered in lieu of education.
