So why the delay again? Everyone saying it's time to play wait game...how long will you play that wait game?... It's just because of the Nigerian system/economy and not too many jobs can offer same welfare packages like Chevvy (kiss the truth). But at same time, ask yourself, can Chevvy conduct a recruitment that spans 2 calender years(2024-2026) in developed markets like Europe with well developed labour and employment laws?

I went for the interview and was asked to do medicals, then Chevron went blank.
Please help me if you have any info regarding if this process is ongoing.

It hasn't ended, and things have stabilized. Some people who have undergone this process with us have resumed contracted positions. We will congratulate the main guys who have done BC and medicals in Q1 '26, that's if they don't get it as Xmas gift. Cheers!

Not to burst your bubble, but once medicals are done, it’s only a matter of when, not if. The reorganization is complete, yet combined with the NMA SBU HR Director’s recent retirement, it understandably caused delays. The new HR head still needs to review pending files and finalize approvals. Slow or not, the process is on track, and those called up will speak for themselves.

With all due respect sir, one year is not understandably. Also nothing is guaranteed until offer letter is in your hands. I insist these guys have stopped this recruitment.

I personally hope that you guys get the role though, because God knows at this point it is deserved for those that waited.

Like think about it, if an organization say they need some hires, and can go one year without the new hires, in this era of capitalism, what is the motivation for them to employ them anymore. After all, they can achieve the same output with their current work force.

I agree with you that people get jobs without connection. Even the people that got at Chevron might have gotten without connection, but they are not interested in any more intakes at this point.
It is just a pity they didn't communicate to people they rose their hopes by allowing them do medicals.
