An organization like Chevron would only communicate things like this formally.

Nobody knows, not even management.
For now, the recruitment is definitely paused, and management is not sure what direction to go, if they should end the recruitment, or keep it open incase upper ogas give them the go ahead to continue with the recruitment

The only concern I have is no communication from official qtrs. Like, candidates deserve better-yes for now you owe them no obligation but the fact they honoured your interview and tests, makes them deserving to get an update or timeline on when this will be closed out. This is a crucial matter.

That sitting arrangement excuse is really funny lol. I gave info here about what a recently retired staff member told me about this recruitment, and someone who didn't mention any source said otherwise.
I would like for this exercise to come to an end, but for now, the truth is until you mention a reliable source, I am sticking to what someone with trusted info said which is, FORGET ABOUT THE RECRUITMENT.
I just got to the next round of NLNG recruitment and hopefully it works out for me.
I won't tie my hope here. It has proven to be a waste of precious hope doing so
