like its easy to start up a business
i know many people that started and failed
also experience is needed
This is where the problem is. You only know about people that failed you won't see reasons why they failed and those that succeed as well. Look this has to do with your mindset. If you like be positive if you like don't be. But remember where you arrive in future is the function of what you are doing today

I do agree with you. I've been privileged to know a man that was great but unfortunately late now. He was a self made man and not educated formally, but funny enough speaks good English. In our various discussions, he will tell you he schooled in the university of life, and has a PhD from the University of Life. He ran various successful businesses. He died like 3months ago unfortunately at age 72 cry. He had so many beautiful business ideas even at that age, and was still very active till he died suddenly.
You see. Sometimes I wonder why we are so quick to blame others but ourselves. If you imagine the rate at which people are wasting there money on lotto baba ijebu or football betting all in the name of I want to get rich quickly. Its a shameful thing in our society but like I said where you arrive in future is a function of what you do today

I presupposed your ending and it didn't fail me. While I agree one should build his/her system, the question is, is it everyone that is cut out for self employment or building a system? And another thing is that will it not be fair to learn the rudiments of building a system somewhere before one embarks on his own? Please I have not said building one business isn't good but only saying that paid employment has its own advantage too. And saying most of these jobs are slavery, thank God you said most and not all. Do you also know that 1 out of every business start ups fail and also about half of the ones that survive fail after 5 years? Both sides have both advantage and disadvantage. One can be rich via both. Do not discredit one for the other.
Paid employment has its own advantage but it will never make you a fortune. Unless you invest in other business. And that's another thing entirely. Concerning you statistic about business failure, I don't know where you get your own from. You don't seem to get it. You determine your own success. Forget about that crap that most business fail after 5 yrs or whatever. The question you should ask yourself is why would it fail? Listen to me my brother here’s one philosophy that helped change my life. It’s not what happens that determines your life’s future. It’s what you do about what happens. All of us are in like a little sailboat, and it’s not the blow of the wind that determines your destination. It’s the set of the sail. So please take note. It’s one of the best things we must understand. Kids need to understand it as well and most especially those who are still looking for admission or are in school already. The same wind blows on us all. I repeat the same wind blows on us all. The wind of disaster, the wind of opportunity, the wind of change, the wind when it’s upside down, the wind when it’s favorable and unfavorable. The same wind blows on us all. The economic wind, the social wind, the political wind. The same wind blows on everybody. The difference is where you arrive in one year, three years, five years, the difference in arrival is not the blowing of the wind but the set of the sail.
That’s what learning is all about, to set a better sail this year than last year--to set a better arrival or achievements.

Thumbs up..but I disagree a little sir..
Not everybody can be an entrepreneur or is even cut out to be one..
Personally everyone should discover themselves and work with already designed frameworks suitable for their personality types..

Yes it's a good way to become rich..but in the developed countries it might not work that way..
For instance, a trained teacher who has great passion for educating ,will not be a good teacher except he/she works under already established system before delving into his own schooling..

NB; I'm not taking into consideration those that are entrepreneurs in area they don't have formal training in e.g. Me
Nice one but at the same time you don't really need formal knowledge or training. I think entrepreneur is what is good for this developing economy we find ourselves. You see Indecision is one of the enemies lurking inside us. Indecision is the thief of opportunity & enterprise. It will steal your chances for better future. Take a sword to this enemy NOW.

Mr man how can somebody that doesn't have money start a business, it is always easy said than done, to start a business you need money to invest, it is only people with handwork that did not need money to start business, e.g interior decoration, online marketing, fashion design etc, the reason why many youth could not venture into business is because of lack of capital to start, I am a business man, I know what it takes to nurture a business in Nigeria where there is no electricity, multiple taxation, high cost of shops, it is on record that 3 out 5 businesses in Nigeria pack up after few years because of all this. You will end up selling your EBook to those dropping their Email and run away
You see this is where the problem is. "I know this already". Who says you should buy E books? I started my first business at home with little or no capital. My dear its all about Patience
Jobs/VacanciesRe: My Disastrous Banking Job Interview On The 5th Of October 2015 by Valendo: 11:26pm On Oct 06, 2015
I think we don't have to allow employers determine our future anymore. The whole essence goes down to personally development. I can tell you that majority of us here have not open any book since we graduated from the university. Now what we need is self education. I will repeat again we all need to get out of our comfort zone because life begins outside the comfort zone. If you can't make your next six months better than your last six then there is a trouble. It shows you are not developing. One thing I want to share with you all is for you to learn how to read meanings to numbers and make use of law of average to your advantage. God bless

Wow!!!

Well said Mr man, in fact I love every part of your article, it's so motivating and inspiring but I have a problem with people that gives advice of this nature which am so sure yiu can't be exceptional. " do what I say and not what I do"

If only you can tell us little about yourself, how you started your own business and how booming it is now then I might follow suit
My advice for you is to take time and study the business section of the nairaland very well. There are lots of business opportunities there. Don't limit your area of interest to the job vacancies alone. Whatever I say here its left for you to believe it or not. Only God knows the last time I applied for a job. I hardly get the time to. I started my business with the intention of doing it part-time while I look for job. But the whole thing changed after my second month in the business. For me I'm into Networking as well as bitcoin business. However, there are lots of other business opportunities in the business section or investment section. Just look for one and start it. I hate it when youths want to get rich quick even when they know such might not last. Build a business. Patience is the key. Before you know it you will be surprised. I think you just need to get out of your comfort zone. Real life is outside the comfort zone. Don't wish for less problems wish for more skills; don't wish for less challenges wish for more wisdom. Don't wish things were easier wish you were better. My brother the sky will be your limit. Remember spend time @ the business section very well.

It baffles me why our graduates like to waste their precious time. Why is it that people don't struggle to set up a business or a system that can give them a lot of money. Listen my brother formal education will give you a cheque while self education will earn you a fortune. Stop wasting your time, not even for a job you can be sacked at any time. There are numerous opportunities out there that can make you rich and certainly its not paid employment. So please my dear brothers and sisters think beyond this contract job. One problem I know majority of our youth face today is this "quick rich" thing. Believe me if you can think very well you will understand that its only a matter of time, you will say thank God you were not given any employment letter because most of the jobs out there are total slavery. I have ideas that can make you rich. Feel free to ask me. All of us can do better than this please. I look forward to a day banks will start begging people to work for them. This is possible if only we could think outside the box.

The lies of Sahara Reporters is something else. This woman might be guilty but it has to be proven without any doubt that she is. UK is definitely not Nigeria where people are being condemned even when no court of competent jurisdiction has found them guilty. Shame

Simple. The truly wealthy people I've read of read of didn't have money alone on their minds when they set out to chase their dreams. They knew the more they served, the more money they will make.
Thank you my brother. Today I'm living my own life. That's why I'm saying to people on this thread, please my good people wake up. If I can do it, you can do it even better

Talking about motivational speaking, some people have it naturally by virtue of their belief but how can that skill bring money? Any ideas, suggestions? Your reply might help a brother!
This is where the problem is. Don't think about the money first. Think about how to serve people. The money will follow suit. Don't let d money be d driving force. Look for something you can do free of charge.

Its very unfortunate that a major industry is out there but people are not aware or are being lazy. Look @ the poster above me talking about betting. This is part of what we are saying. Everybody wants to get rich quickly. I'm saying this once again. Network marketing is not as bad as people are taking it to be. I finished from Unilorin 2013 set with 2.1 but most of the job I've seen out there is total slavery. When a frnd introduced me to Networking, I said no but today all glory be to God, this business is putting money into my accounts. And I'm beginning to thank God that I didn't get those useless job out there. I would probably be in slavery no doubt. That does not mean there are no good jobs out there but even b4 you get a good one, get busy. I can assure you if you can lay a good foundation in networking, you won't regret it. Even if you are asked to sell products, is there anything bad in that? People should learn to take things easy. Our youths want to get rich quick. Nobody wants to work @ all. See how football betting is booming, people wasting there monies on baba ijebu. My dear brothers please think twice. If you wish to know about AIM Global please feel free to ask me. Thanks
BusinessRe: I Need Your Advise On A Business To Start With 10k? by Valendo: 12:49pm On Sep 25, 2015
There is nothing like buying and selling or marketing. Don't mind people running away from Networking. Open up ur mind and you will see the possibility of making good money. The only thing I will advice you is where you see others running away from there is a potential for you to make good money.

HealthRe: Pregnant Women/ Nursing Mothers by Valendo(op): 7:59pm On Sep 07, 2015
PLEASE GIVE TIME TO READ. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. LATEST CANCER INFORMATION
from Johns Hopkins
AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY …
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly- growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly- growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro- intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and
radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.
What cancer cells feed on:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus,
especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat
remaining in the intestines will become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.
Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells. (PLEASE SHARE IT TO PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT)
