Thanks to everyone for your immense help and responses. We (spouse, kid and I) will be travelling to the U.S next month and it's our first visit to America. Our application stated Miami as destination but tickets are so expensive this summer that we decided to book a flight to New York and intend to get a domestic flight from JFK to Miami the following morning. We have booked a night stay at a hotel close to JFK and another 14 nights stay at the Miami hotel. I am a bit worried now because we have a contact in New York (also stated in our application) and it may sound like we are changing our destination because we have someone in New York to accommodate us. The domestic flights seen online are costly and we hope to get cheaper options when we go to the local airport the following day. Is there something we should be worried about? Hello Everyone, Thank you for your usual help and support. i have just a quick question. Our application has it that we are visiting Florida. However, we intend to spend a few days in New York before proceeding to Miami. will there be a problem at POE? Since we indicated on the application that we have a US contact in New York. BTW getting a flight from Lagos to Miami is very expensive this summer and we do not intend to book the domestic flight until we are in New York. We are spending a total of 16 days. Thank you!!! |
