If you're active here on nairaland, then SLAWORMIR is a name you must have come across countless times. He's always commenting on almost all posts on front page but lately, he's nowhere to be seen.
I noticed his disappearance since this Endsars began, could it be he's too damn busy with the Endsars protest that he has forgotten nairaland (his second home) or perhaps Efcc has arrested him (we all know how he loves fraud).

Thank you all for your advice, I called him, he said I should come and collect back my money. I tried making him understand that my friend is willing to settle him but he said he's not interested. Mehn, it's been a whole lot of stress on me lately

If your contract stipulates that you cannot sublet the apt then that lawyer is absolutely RIGHT, and you are breaking the rules.

Remember these agencies make money from these BS fees etc, so bypassing them to rent the apt to your friends is blasphemy to them.

Hi nairalanders, please I have something bothering me, I'm going to share it here and I'll appreciate it if you guys can give me a feedback .

I recently moved into a new apartment, last two weeks, I was out with some friends when a mutual friend said he's looking for an apartment, I decided to give him mine since I was already set to leave, he thanked me as he wasn't going to go through agent and lawyer fees wahala. What he did was that he sent the house rent to me and asked me to pay for him since I'm already used to paying the lawyer with my name. I obliged, paid the rent last week, collected and handed him the receipt and moved out last weekend.

I got a call from the lawyer yesterday, he threatened to embarrass the guy (the person I put in the house) if he doesn't vacate the house. He kept shouting and insulting me on the phone during the call, I tried to settle things amicably with him, but he refused, telling me to ask that guy to leave the house. I've been trying to see him since yesterday but he doesn't want to see me. Please house, help me out, I don't know what to do.
