I schooled in benin republic and i entered the school through direct entry, after graduating i came back to nigeria to do jamb regularization so that i can go for NYSC but when i got to jamb office and did thumb printing after all necessary details have been submitted, another person's face was showing under my matric number.

Please what can i do and where is the mistake coming from?

Please is it a red flag to tell them you only apply to only one school?
The school was recommended to me so I didn’t bother applying to other schools, will it be a red flag to say I only applied to one school?

They said the slot has already been used the next available one is April 2025

What is the probability of them approving an expedite appointment and how long does it take for them to approve it?

I submitted my DS 160 for Lagos but not no date for Lagos and I am thinking of picking Abuja because I saw an available date for January 16th 2025.

Please how can I go about that and what do I need to do?

That of my son got approved today too. About five hours after we sent the mail this morning. I have been trying to trace the person that gave that advice to say thank you. Awaiting approval for Expedited action.

Equally got passed the preapproval stage today for abuja embassy (f1), I filled that form (emailed) also. Raised a ticket too. Anyways only dates from February 2025 were available, so emergency appointment is the way forward.

Is this for Abuja only?

Please what about lagos?

Please after paying for visa application fee in the bank, I logged into my account and clicked on pending appointment request and it took me to a page where I was asked to upload my I-20 and state the date of my travel which I did. Then I was told that my preapproval request is been processed.

How long does the request take before I can proceed?

I had my B.Sc in accounting but just applied for a masters degree in computer science and I am waiting for their feedback.

Is it possible to get an assistantship position in accounting department or can I get an assistantship position in computer science without any computer science background?
And if I am to reach out to professors, should I reach out to professors in accounting or computer science?
Because I really need an assistantship.
