Politics › Re: 2015: Tinubu Wanted To Be VP, Opposed Osinbajo As VP - Buhari's Authorized Bio by valolo: 5:42pm On Oct 04, 2016 |
doctokwus: Hogwash! He had no other choice than to choose osinbajo who was technically imposed on him. Tinubu and Fashola are muslims,a ticket that wud have guaranteed a sure loss for apc despite how miserable and despicable the former president's rule was. Tinubu wanted someone he cud use to control the presidency. That is why they skipped fayemi who had a better experience, more qualified and a Christian just like Osinbajo, who I don't rate highly despite his professorship. Fayemi wud have been an imposing, difficult to control figure in the presidency,so they imposed a meek, inexperienced osinbajo on him,and he cheapishly accepted. A professor without Ph.d |

SeverusSnape: Afenifere said Osinbajo is a disgrace to the south West, I concur. He's a disgrace to the south West In particular and Southern Nigeria in general.
How can a professor say no difference if the country is restructured?... He has learnt to make useless and unguarded statements from his dull boss. Educated illiterate. Militants, Please forgive him. Take it easy. I don't blame him, a professor without Ph.d |

Politics › Re: Retired Military Officers – Nigeria Needs Damage Control by valolo: 10:00am On Jun 12, 2016 |
SuperS1Panther: Obasanjo sacked officers that has ever took political post in 1999 and heaven did not fall.
Military institution is a sacred institution of the state and not of any president or any party in power and it should remain non-partisan, not corrupt, with high sense of professionalism.
Anybody that wants to wail over the sacking can do so to the detriment of his eyeball. The gauntlet must be laid and has been down for future would-be partisan and corrupt officers that are meant to be loyal to the state.
If they are from certain regions of this country, that is their headache. It will make them to realise that you do not abuse your office, responsibility to the State and duty, just because your kinsmen or your political party is in power.
We should always remember that power is temporal.
What is bad is bad. Nigeria is bigger than any corrupt or partisan army officer. The case of Ekiti was a brazen attack on the sensibilities of sane minds and the electoral process of this country. Osun State people only stood their ground against the military.
Hating wailers from the wailing wall and ''awon eyan Benjamin Netanyanhu'' can wail if they so wish. Biafra all the way. |
