...and while shopping for a charge controller, don't forget ensuring it's got editable battery configurations or even supports lithium batteries - Should either support Lithium batteries, or have editable battery configuration

so how will he set low voltage disconnect on a dumb inverter

So guys. I've had a 5kva Yohako non hybrid inverter i bought back then for an installation but i never used. Now i have a 10kwh lithium battery and i want to install it. However, an engineer told me that i need to get a smart hybrid inverter because installing my non hybrid yohako inverter would ruin my lithium battery because it's not smart and wont be able to set cut off voltage etc... He's suggesting that he can help me sell off my 5kva 48v Yohako, I'll add like 100k (amount to buy a stand alone charge controller) and he'll get me a smart inverter of 3.5kva or 4.3kva for 350k....so he plans on selling a 5kva brand new Yohako for 250k. The whole thing sounds fishy to me....is he telling the truth or can i go ahead and use the Yohako 5kva with the 10kwh lithium i have?. I already have 4 590watts panels, all i need to do is to order a charge controller and do the install. I dont plan to charge with grid fyi.... Strictly solar charging

i think buying off your old yohako inverter is a fair deal , but u should get a better 48v 6.2kw hybrid inverter with 120A Mppt. also try to add 2 or 3pcs more panels all connected in series. in lithuim world, an inverter having editable charge and low voltage disconnect settings is a must !

hybrid inverters is the present and the future. there are stronger brands like DEYE..

his hybrid inverter can comfortably carry any load less than 3000w, Sunfield is not mediocre, it is marketed by Welion company.

I find myself with a peculiar but pleasant problem- Redundant excess power.

I don't use an AC unit, no plans for that now, am looking to utilize this energy towards cooking( help cut down the LPG bills )

Am seeking recommendations from anyone currently using their setup for cooking on energy efficient options available.

Inverter is a 4.2kw sunfield hybrid.

buy a single burner toks halogen electric cooker(consumes max 1600w), minimise other house loads when using the cooker. your inverter can comfortably carry load lesser than 3kw..cheers.

From data sheet, the max solar power is 600w.

The max voltage input is 150vdc.

Max mppt solar charge current is 40amp.

The problem is that the manual does not have max solar current input.

Meanwhile, the plan is to use a single 605w ZNshine bifacial solar panel with;
Vmp: 34.7
Imp : 17.44
Voc : 41.7
Isc : 18.37

With a 25% rear side gain, it has the following ratings;
Pmax: 756w
Vmp:34.8
lmp: 21.73
Voc: 40.8
lsc: 22.89

I am really bothered about not going above the max solar input current.

Can this solar panel work together with the inverter with any issues as regards the input solar current.

no issue bro. 600w is the max it can produce . u can slightly oversize it. i have the same inverter working with 2pcs of 400w panels for over one year now

assuming total of 170w(including inverter consumption)
real 5kwh lifepo4 lithium @90% DOD =4.5kwh
4.5kwh ÷170w= approximately 26hrs
