bros, all you need to know is that the bible is not written for general understanding of the masses. it is a sacred text. the masses will understand the part of it they are meant to understand like the laws and commandments. every other secret in the bible is not given to the masses to understand.

I don't understand what the heck you mean by the story happened. Your twins in the story are fictional and used to illustrate at fact. Thus the twins, the father and the house do not exist. You cannot say the father exists but the twins were made up to buttress your fact. When jesus spoke in parables it was clearly stated. Who is tasked with the responsibility of determining what and where is not factual and why should this be done after the fact. Was the Bible written for three supposedly enlightened people? You cannot write the above story in a history book cos it's fictional. You edified now?

they dont contradict if you know and understand that the bible is not a literal text but is symbolic and allegorical. for example if i write a story in 2 different books of the bible and the message to be gotten from it is that buhari is a saint. in one book i can say buhari stumbled on 10,000 naira and returned it to the owner. in another book i can write the same story as he stumbled on 20,000 naira but he returned it to the owner. to the unenlightened who reads the bible literally this is a contradiction. but the message from the story is the same and is what you need to extract from the symbolic story which is ' buhari is a honest man '. thats how the bible is written. it is not to be taken literally.
