@Seagun,  I was also typing about Abacha when u were sending your post--- so very apt

The only people that want a state of emergency in Rivers state are the same old, dirty, unrepentant, self-centred money bag politicians that have refused to learn from people like  Abacha that filthy lucre is not all there is to this life.
They would rather subject millions of innocent, law-abiding people to perpetual misery and abject penury just so they can have everything.

Our God is not asleep ooooo!!!    shocked

PoliticsRe: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by VC2007(m): 4:36am On Aug 16, 2007
I am not quite sure there is another set of people on this earth that are as blindly optimistic as Nigerians.
My Gawd!!! Some of us are already sounding as if anything that has worked in other countries has ever worked here.

When Babangida came up with SAP, Nigerian sang to high heavens that that was the panacea to all our economic problems. Today , how far?

Honestly this Soludo guy is beginning to register doubts on my mind about his much touted capabilities. Is he not the same CBN helmsman that introduced the 1000 naira note about a year ago or so. Why this sudden reversal of policy.

I just want somebody to tell me that this is the most important and most urgent of all our economic problems right now.
Please let somebody tell me that re-denominating the naira is far more important than providing basic amenities and infrastructures that even less endowed counties of Africa had since taken for granted.

May God help us

Technology MarketRe: Laptop Deals : Your Opinion Needed. by VC2007(m): 1:47am On Jul 30, 2007
Well mazia

Your prices are relatively ok but they are not all that superb as lovethis and a few others want us to believe.

I agree with Seun's last mail about laptops being expensive. See, una wey dey abroad there need to dey consider us here small cos e no easy for naija. Economy dey bite. The laptop wey we dey buy sef no electricity to use am unless we buy generator. Try and see if u can bring the price down a bit. I actually want to buy a good laptop this week and good for me, I reside in Port Harcourt.

Am serious about buying so pls call me on 08066574226 and lets see if we can arrive at a price I believe is good for me. You can also mail me with the add. below.

It always pays to be good

Yeah sege,

All members really appreciate u for doing something to ameliorate the economic crunch.
Personally am a bit sceptical cos i have a bitter experience with some cheap Kingston FD i bought sometime back.

You are not the manufacturer, so u may not really be a good position to vouch for the authenticity of the product, therefore there really is no need to suddenly decide to increase the price out of annoyance just because someone expressed some scepticism.
