KnowAll: because the APC leaders we have had from 2015 to now are very dishonest, unfaithful and unpatriotic. They will be busy giving excuse of Covid 19 impact, the war in Ukraine and Gaza, global recession as reason for the dead economy and currency when you ask them to account for the rapid devaluation of the naira. Is it only Nigeria these events affected? |

That is why Nigeria is soooo backward even in a democracy Democracy is supposed to mean liberty and prosperity What we have today is oppression of the masses with all manner of Draconian policies while the leader live large in opulence and splendor. RodgersAkpafu:Bros keep quiet Close your mouth Stop typing There is nothing to defend in our country at the moment compared to theirs. Is it the high level of insecurity or hyperinflation or the devalued naira/devalued economy? Abeg siddon one corner. Even the recently concluded olympic games SA won all kinds of medals. Even one medal 🥇 Nigeria could not win. Ohhh I didn't even mention the tribalism and disunity Nigerians constantly and shamelessly display on social media for the entire world to see whenever the opportunity presents itself. If you say Yaradua or GEJ era I would slightly agree with you. |

Not only SA this thing is happening It is also happening in Nigeria That "they just find a way to destroy it" is very apt NNPC or is it NNPCL? just find a way to ground refineries for many decades despite billions spent in turn around maintenance (TAM). |

CodeTemplarr:Yea I understand your point They are valid But it is these same political Papas and Daddies that have created, institutionalise the stinking system of mediocrity, nepotism, cronyism, tribalism, Instead of promoting a system of meritocracy, accountability, service, the increase of the human development index. That's what resulted in what you described above, in addition to what you wrote, instead of adding more value to the system by way of increased productivity of qualitative good and services, the hawks and vultures now focus on the dwindling limited resources that are left arrogating positions, hijacking and cornering opportunities to themselve and family by way of grand scale, multifaceted institutional corruption. 1 Like 1 Share |

CodeTemplarr:Yea not so far But imagine for a second how salary earner since GEJ regime whose salary has remained same since then will find it excruciatingly difficult to cope now. Don't tell me about talk of adding side hustle or extra source of income, those who do that are trying to absolve themselves from blame. At this exchange rate you mentioned 0.58usd it translated to N85 per litre during GEJ regime which was by far more conveniently affordable back then, the only problems then was the occasional scarcity not that they couldn't afford it back then. Now it is over times X10 of that amount. How insensitive can a government be? This increases have caused multiplier effect all across the entire nations economy with reverberations leading to inflation prices of goods and services flying high while take home earning remain the same. The reality is that many, many people have now abandoned their cars for public transport. Big men and women of our society for the first time are now seen hoping into buses, public transport. Women now enter the bush cut any green grass they see without knowing their name boil and started eating due to chronic hunger and inability to afford the most basic of the basic food due to PBAT insensitive policies. Even pure water average Nigerian can hardly afford these days. The govt has lost touch with reality, completely disconnected from the people. 3 Likes |

Let Nigerians come together to break up the hands of those that are devaluing their currency. This is what is causing the problem. Price of petrol would have been N450 or even N225 per litre if not for the series of devaluation that was carried out in quick succession within a very short period of time. 11 Likes |
