These are not the best times for the chairman of ikoyi/obalende Fuad Atanda-Lawal who held his empowerment program today. Not only did her excellency Sen. Remi Tinubu not come for the event, the 5 counsellors representing the LCDA did not also show up. As to make matters worse, some senior council members, his cabinet members and staff were also missing in action. People feel he is living large at their own expense and they are barely getting by. He has bought a house on Glover Ikoyi, he spends at will and has refused to take care of their interest.All these programs are smoke screens to divert attention from money he has taken from LGA coffers. Even his inner circle have started to get tired of his greedy nature and its even said, that he treats his friends who work for him like slaves.

It seems very soon Efcc, Icpc and mostly trouble will soon engulf this council area very soon.
