The farmers are torn between the devil(boko haram)and the deep blue sea(military). The boko haram would tax the farmers and the fishermen to farm or fish while the military would tax them (farmers) to bring in the produce from the farms. Imagine cases where the military forcefully buy fish from the fishermen at their (military) price, to transport to other parts of the country. 2 Likes |

Tough or chewy meats,as you call it,is for the poor people that can't afford meat always,they want it to stay longer in their mouths. Also, another topic, maybe for another day, big piece of meat to smaller cuts. Some would chew meat and drop on plate again because of the size,I hate that.
