Politics › Re: Wife May Bag Jail Term For Tearing Husband’s Passport At Lagos Airport – NIS by verifiablefacts: 6:37am On Aug 13, 2024 |
ddippset: So can we say that altering a passport is the same as destroying one?
If the passport the woman tore up was her own personal passport would it be a crime? I doubt so!
So I guess at best she is guilty of destroying another person's property/item.
Now is that an offence liable for a jail term? Go to efcc front gate and burn just a single Naira note, your own Naira note, and watch what will happen next. |

Politics › Re: NNPCL Demands ₦4.7 Trillion Petrol Imports Refund by verifiablefacts: 12:01pm On Aug 09, 2024 |
yommen: No actually. Dangote refinery cost $20B. N4.7B only amounts to $2.9N at N1600 per $.
It is actually about 15% of Dangote refinery cost and thats in one year but Baba that's even for differential in dollar rate alone not the actual cost. What it means is that if you now consider the real coat, monies being paid on fuel subsidy for like 3 years can actually pay for a refinery like Dangote.
This subsidy cabal won't definitely want any refinery to work of course. My brother, you have said it all ,we are in a rough ride,a very rough ride. |
