The bold is not true.No, a child of God can never lose heaven and end up in hell. He may lose earthly benefits of knowing and living the truth, but his name will stay in the book of life. God predestinated His elect to adoption as sons through the purchase price of Jesus Christ's death (Gal 4:4-6; Eph 1:3-6).

Smile, work is a spiritual natural response to grace in this dispensation. 'I am saved which is why I do good works, I don't do good works in other to be saved.

I am very afraid for the church at this time. I don't subscribe to the kid glove approach the vatican is giving to the issue of homosexuality. The church does not need to tone down on the language it uses to qualify gays and their practices. I feel more uncomfortable with the way western media are buzzing about an impending change in catholic doctrine to welcome gays. I pray that doesn't happen. We do not need to go against God's law because we want to make the Church more acceptable to sinners.

We all should pray earnestly for the holy spirit to guide the Church @ this trying time. I fear for the vatican!

If your Catholic Church says we are saved by grace, why come up with a 'but'. When you add the 'but' only to include works, can we still regard the first statement that says 'The Catholic Church says we are saved by the grace of God ' as a valid statement?

What spirit inspired Paul when he said- Romans 11:6

And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace

Going by this scripture, can the Catholic Church say salvation is by grace (meaning a gift from God) but works is yet a requisite to the same salvation that was said to be a gift?

Both passages fit well into that doctrine but your false doctrine contradicts James 2:24.

you Catholics can't deceive anybody. You worship Mary and it is very wrong. The Holy Bible condemns all your actions, no wonder some of you say the Bible is not the only word of God.
