Lol...They provide companionship.... if ur sole reason for getting a girlfriend is only for sex, then she is more like "f*ckmate"... Like the name implies, girlfriend is "supposed" to be ur friend, your assistant, ur helper, and maybe ur sexmate.... remember, if u see her like say she gives you only sex, then she will see you like the guy who can gives the best sex.... which equals to a Platonic relationship....
