🤩🕊🇵🇸On the US "peace" plan for Gaza: 🇯🇴🇵🇸➡️🇹🇳Apparently, the American peace plan for the Gaza Strip is a kind of reincarnation of the events of 1982 in Lebanon, when the Palestine Liberation Organization was evacuated from that country to Tunisia. 🔍The American initiative itself is still kept secret, but its contours are already quite obvious. 🔴First, it provides for a complete ceasefire in Gaza. 🔴Second, an exchange of hostages: Hamas releases all Israelis, and Israel releases Hamas prisoners. 🔴Third, Hamas is withdrawn from the Gaza Strip to any country that is ready to accept it. 🔴Fourth, Israeli troops are gradually withdrawn from Gaza. 🔴Fifth, a temporary Arab administration is created in the Strip (several Arab countries will participate in it). 🔖It is possible that in the future the Gaza Strip will come under the control of the Palestinian National Authority and will reunite with the West Bank of the Jordan River (that is, with Fatah and Mahmoud Abbas). 🚫In theory, the plan looks realistic, but with practical implementation, not everything is so simple. 🏛💬🇮🇱There are sharp pitfalls.This is why Israel accepted the American plan (Tel Aviv can pass it off as a formal victory: the hostages are freed, and Hamas members are removed from Gaza), but Hamas rejected it. 🔴The first pitfall: where will Hamas be deployed? Therefore, the American plan looks like a clear defeat for Hamas and a victory for Israel. Also, the situation with the temporary Arab administration, which should govern the Gaza Strip after the hypothetical withdrawal of Hamas, is absolutely unclear. 🔴Which Arab countries will agree to take over the governance of Gaza if in the eyes of the Arab street they will then look like accomplices of Israel and America? On what principles will this administration work? What will be the reaction of the residents of the Gaza Strip, many of whom sympathize with Hamas? ❓In short, so far there are only unanswered questions. But the US is trying very hard to achieve a settlement or at least temporarily freeze the conflict. It is not easy to pull Ukraine and Gaza at the same time, and there is also Taiwan.
