Documents that can show that you have home ties here in Nigeria, like family evidence, a letter from your employer, and evidence of landed or house property, if you have any.

Also, documents to prove your financial status,

like bank statements, payslips, etc.

If you are a business owner, include your company registration documents.

Can I use my daughter and my mother as home ties and a leave letter from my employer that I will be going for a master program for one year. I will provide a bank statement and my play slip also.

When applying for a visa, tell the truth. You can still get a visa regardless of whether your previous application was denied or not.

What's the purpose of carrying 2 passports with different names?

The Sierra leone passport have expired am not renewing it. I have sworn an affidavit for the change of name, and will also declare have been refused a visa before in the application.I hope this will be enough to convince them in getting the visa.

If the biometrics matches and your name shows different information, then this may be trouble, except if you can prove that you changed name.
