Mater Amabilis Secondary school Umuoji did extremely well in this WAEC. This is the best Secondary School in Anambra and they didn't disappoint.


Our Class of 2024 once again proved their mettle with a stellar performance in the 2024 WASSCE. Just like in the JAMB exam, our students gave a good account of themselves in this year's WAEC exam, clearing all their papers in Distinctions and Credits. Here are some of the top performers.

#Mater-Amabilis: Making a difference!

Nigerians are funny sha. We cuss one another out on social media daily, but once outsiders ridicule us, we unite to drag their papa. It's like saying the only people who have the right to drag Nigeria is Nigerians.

Reminds me of a relative who disrespects his parents and is a terror to his siblings, but the day any outsider dare disrespects his family members, he breaks bottle and scatters everywhere. He was essentially saying the only person who can disrespect his folks is him. One day, he was in a middle of a street fight (as usual) when one of the thugs attacked him with a knife. His elder brother who hasn't spoken to him in years because the young man is such a nasty fellow, happened to be passing by when the attacker rushed Lil Cuz. Big Bro, without even blinking screamed "NO!!" and rushed the attacker with bone breaking blows, and was able to wrestle the gleaming, wickedly sharp knife away from him. After the fight, the two brothers went back to ignoring each other.

That's blood speaking with a voice that is impossible to ignore. It is a primal instinct. Even when we are outside Nigeria and you happen to come upon a Nigerian in trouble with natives, our first instinct will be to help them, before the more prudent among us suppresses the urge and looks away. The braver ones try to mediate, or flat out tear shirt and join in the fray in defence of their compatriots.

It is an atavistic reaction that cannot be easily explained, and totally unexpected until it kicks in.

Ishilove , you nodey tire you this Igbo hating old maid ,who is also an Igbo speaking person. I have known you here for over 15 years of Igbo hating and now you suddenly want to sound like you are not worse than these sub humans! The hatred you people create and preach will be your portion.

In case you don't know the Zulu of South Africa and Zulu of Mozambique see each other as brethren but you an Igbo of Delta will rather die than extend a hand of brotherhood to your people across the Niger. Like I told him this post is at best infantile. This is an elementary attempt at doing a proper analysis. Its more like a praise singing nothing more. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything profound from a Tinubu supporter. Tinubu has failed and everyone can see that.

It's clear our sports federations need correct reforms..seems many heading these Federations no really understand their job..they are just there to chop and believe insha'Allah in competitions to win...e no dey work that way..

Some will say Basketball tried because of D'Tigress outing...that will be terrible lie attributing the success of those ladies to the Federation, considering what we read about their planning and logistics..so, its more of the ladies determination to do their thing for themselves.

Going forward, we can pick positives from the way Minister of Sports responded to issues...he has been very active.

He will need to keep up this energy and touchlight all these Federations to ensure they do the right thing at the right time. For example, Athletes training allowances should be paid as at when due , so they can use it for Training..and not when they have reached competition

He has a lot to do...and the recent flashes shows the Minister can actually do it..if he wants to. He should give us good, efficient sports federations.

Which nonsense reform. You keep deceiving yourselves. You think you can rig in a criminal and suddenly every strata of government will manically work ?
