In Orlu state, all federal and state establishments that induce modern develooment where located, shall be distributed to all the nooks and crannies of Orlu state, not like in Imo state where Owerri zone would not and will NEVER allow anything good from government to be outside Owerri zone.

Before creating Anambra State, parts of present Anambra south senatorial district belonged to Orlu Division. Even today, parts of Anambra south are in Orlu Dioceses.
Some of you wear the name Anambra as if it's a golden crown, and in the process you show discrimination by Igbos against Igbos; the same Igbos who shared the same East Central State in the past.
Don't worry, more informed leaders in Anambra south who don't see differences among Igbos, came together in 2005 and joined leaders from Imo West (Orlu) senatorial district and asked for Njaba state to be created as the 6th state in the Southeast. They are on it this time also. It's the same Njaba state proposal which is renamed Orlu state proposal today.
Orlu was in the same divisional status like Awka and Abakaliki before the old East Central State was created. Even before the emergence of East Central State. Some of you who wear the name Anambra like it's a golden crown and talk "no part of Anambra must be taken to join any part of Orlu zone for a sixth state in the Southeast zone" are misguided. Anambra is a misrep by military dictators for Omambala. Omambala River does not pass through Anambra South. From Uzo-Uwani, Omambala River flows into the River Niger near Onitsha. Persons without inferiority complex don't attach any importance to this latter-day Anambra State is one and cannot have a part of Anambra south joined to Imo West Senatorial district for a 6th state in the SE.

The two Reps from Anambra south said they were not consulted, not that they rejected the proposal. You know what consultation in today's Nigeria's political parlance means. Lobby possibly with cash.

But when Mbadinuju from Anambra south was governor of Anambra state, he and then Imo state gov, Udenwa, spearheded the demand for creation of Njaba state then, the same Njaba state proposal called Orlu state this time. Another former military gov from Anambra south as well as traditional rulers from Anambra south also resolved for creation of Njaba state.

You cannot eliminate street trading by offering arenas. Nigeria has an infinite supply of traders ready to sell on the road if you let them. Street traders after all are looking for location, location, location. The more traffic the better.

Unregulated trading destroys profits and destroys investment. The UK has high streets where in high traffic locations you find sophisticated shops and high rents. In Nigeria, show me a sophisticated shoe shop. You can't because it's sold in barrows. Show me a sophisticated grocery store. You can't because it's sold on primitive tables in markets.

Answer: because considering the history of state creation in the SE, a 6th state in the SE zone must come from Anambra and Imo States, or from any of the two states.
