Got methylated spirit and Elicartin powder earlier and applied it to the dogs body after much research and it actually had no bad effect on his skin (he didnt even move when applying the spirit) hope he is okay by 2moro.

Wednsday 22nd july 2015
Ok so today was great as the dog jogged a little and what even bursted my head the most was that he actually barked @ my visitor (I was so happy, I left my guest and went to give him a treat)
I washed the wound surface and applied disinfectant and wound cream (didnt see most of the items recomended)
Also mended a part of an old cage to avoid flies hovering arnd him although they cldnt land on him due 2 d repllant in d cream(now the cage is okay dey no born any fly well make him enta)
Also did a little potty training nd he is learning fast
And finally I cleaned his ear (d wax was black and thick lyk used engine oil)
Then..... just to let you know, he has been eating well l8tly (he's a consumer and never jokes with chicken).

Yea he is very correct. I remembered when my GSD had a wound under its feet, used healing oil but she kept leaking it and the wound was always fresh. I used the 33 powder for some days and the wound dried up immediately.

Nice job bro!
Please try my option for 24hrs n if it doesn't work, stop it n never take my word serious.
Stop the oil application on the open wounds and get cicatrin powder by GSK from any pharm shop, clean the wounds with methlyated spirit and then pour the powder and u will be amazed how the wound will dry and heal up. 3days is enough to heal him up

Please who has something to say about this.

Since I ddnt get d collar stuff I had 2 make my own (at least I av something to show of my years of watching animal planet and nat geo wild)
Did I also mention dat ive taken him home but created a mini fence at d backyrd 2 keep him alone as my oda dogs want 2 tear him apart.

Tuesday 21st july 2015
Fed the dog well dressed the injury and went to abule egba in search of elizabeth collar (not sure dats wot its called.... see me xplaining d thing to all d pet stuff sellers) didnt get it sha... I heard its not in naija bt dont believe.
Also entered abattoir 4 d first time and bought as much meat as I could afford and still av change 2 go home (see me looking at cows and their funny behaviours.... almost ran into a vexing cow sef)
Got some oda accessories sha lyk collar and got home arnd 6pm.

*Modified get benzyl benzoate from a pharmacy mix with funbact A and then mix everything with Vaseline to reduce the harshness and rub on the back and ear.don't rub on the limbs cuz the dog will lick it unless u can improvise Elizabethan collar

I read in a blog that a pastor in South Africa was sued for feeding his followers live snakes, the body sued him for animal cruelty.

If someone can be sued cos of snakes I wonder what will happen to him when it gets to dog.

Let's stand up and fight this animal cruelty especially against man's best friend.

Monday 20th july 2015
Ok so today the dog made his first bark( I took meat to him and was raising it up so he would try nd jump then he became restless and barked.. was happy cos I actually thought they had beat d voice out of him)
I had been appling applying the wound oil religiously but discovered dat he had been licking and tearing the injury (I sha noticed it would be dry @ night and open in the morning)
Every oda thing went well sha and he can now sit without planning for 30mins

I have fed the dog with all kinds of food (kibbles, noodles, normal food and even coppens fish feed) but he eats as if he is just trying not to waste my food then I tried raw feeding and you need to see how he became very active... got him enough of dat and he ate to his fill and is a bit more active.

And a note to breeders lets always make sure we get the best homes for our pups. We shouldnt just let go of our pups to anybody. Ask alot of questions before selling any pup so we can prevent situations like this. Thanks everyone and God blessing to everyone.

Wow when you say vaccinate is deworming included because I have done that
And the doc said dat he is just suffering 4rm serious malnutriton... but hes under 100% supervision sha and were still checking for any form of disease.... thanks.

Ive been applying d wound oil I snapped earlier and he is actually sleeping on a matress as he groans in pains each time it tries to sit or lie.

God bless you for saving the dog, just take care of it it's a pure breed. Buy wound healing oil apply on the surface of the wound, Vaccinate the dog, give Doc-Roy or Sleeky multivitamin, give 3times daily to increase the appetite and De-worm the dog after all this it will bounce back again.
