but seriously i had this pit bull that lost her pregnancy on 4 different occasions just because of restlessness and she actually jumps completely off the ground when barking at people at the gate ... but instead of tying her legs (not because i felt it was bad but because i was lazy to be changing the leg the rope was) i built her a very small cage that would make it inconvenient for her to jump talk less of run and it worked but she wasn't there all day as i always took her out for walks under close supervision.

and just so you know some people actually cut their dogs thigh with blade or knife so it would be painful when they try to stretch..... NOW THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY

I really want to say a very very big thank you to all those that supported me in the transformation of tuff's life a lot of people go through this thread and praise me, but i want to let you all know that i wouldn't have gone this far without the help of some wonderful nairalander's most of whom would not like their identities to be disclosed. And to every other person who contributed in one way or the other and even those who believed in me throughout the process.

Though I have not used optoima feed before but how do u feed ur birds do u ration feed for them or do u feed them till they are satisfied when u look at d pics u see that its feeding to satisfaction and its starter not grower
In terms of light ow old is ur birds

i make sure food is there all d time but when d food gets to a particular stage they stop eating till i add new one to it. nd they r four weeks old
the difference in their sizes r terrible nd they die steadily on a daily basis...... i don tire o

My people d pic u see here is what one of us who have been following this thread has achieve within 4 wks with just 7mortalty on 300 I think it is highly comendable

Please what did you feed your birds with and what did u use to supply light at night cos i seem to be getting it all wrong.

1st you should make a cage that would b 100% fly free dats ur no.1 enemy now
2 give d dog a thorough bath. bath even d injuries bt use d right shampoo it myt b painful but it has 2 b done (dry d body after bathing)
3 clean d injury surfaces wth cotton wool nd spirit thn apply cicatrin powder
4 deworm wth a v.good dewormer
5 then Give good quality food regularly
N.b bring a vet 2 ur ouse and nt d dog 2 a vet unless whn necessary
If u cant do any of d above listed nd u stay in lagos i cn come nd help.

I hope so strongly that Tuff will he taken for a walk in that same neighborhood where he was maltreated and gotten from when the right time comes so that shame will be their portion.

I passed the street once with tuff's'head out of the car window and u needed to hear peoples comments and see their reactios just a few people recognized him tho see fear 4 people bodi...
Hoping to walk him only when there is no sign of his past on him so for now i drive him to a nearby field where he gets enough walk and play.

pls elaborate more on the coconut oil .

Coconut oil helps their hair to grow, then i also gave him to drink.
Palm oil when drank or mixed with food also gives dogs a shiny and fresh coat.

tuff is very good at being a security as he barks at any one dat passes the front of the gate without even coming close to the gate and charges towards any stranger when given the chance but he has never actually had contact as he wld b chained whn a stranger is around so i dunno what his action would be when he catches a stranger.
he also plays with buffy alot and i think he is poor when it comes to sniffing.
