How long will it take to contact successful candidates after the AC for medicals. And will accommodation be provided during the banking school?

Usually it one week after AC you be called for medicals for medicals and few days or a week for training. The training school is in Ibadan for 9weeks and you be accommodated inside the training school. U r not allowed to go out during the period. It a mini big brother house just that u have access to tv and ur phones.

do you think someone without NYSC discharge certificate stands a chance in the assessment? I received the invitation for AC also but the major problem is that I don’t have discharge certificate and I don’t know if I would be allowed to continue . Traveling from Katsina to Lagos is not child’s play and it will be so bad for me to get to the venue and then get denied the opportunity to participate.

You stand a chance. Once you scale through this stage and Medicals you be called and kindly inform them before training school start so that they would schedule you for the last batch hopefully your certificate should be ready by then. Because I had friends who where still serving during the interview stage but were able to pass out before training school so they joined in the last batch.

They said there'll be Presentation, Essay writing, E tray exercises, Microsoft Office test, Group discussion and Interview.

First when you get there you be ask to check the wall for your name and which ever color you name is on the list would have a dedicated floor for you to write you essay.

You would also pick a number as well while entering the building this number is what determines you group number for the presentation. So every one on that number with the same color with you is in your group. You won’t be allowed to go in with any of your belongings expect a pen.


The first stage is essay writing you have about five 5 questions you area to pick one and write an essay on it.

When you are done you move to the next stage Psychometric test. A PowerPoint slide would be project with pictures of people and you be told to pick the mood and feelings of the people in the color and pick from the option listed in each pictures it usually about 10-15 slides of pictures to answer it more like emotional intelligence.

The third stage is where you work with the number you selected and a list of question would be given to you and your team from 1-10 so what ever number ur team is. That the number you are to work on from the question. You have 15 min to present a slide and build a work on it using a flip chart.

Please note that there are cctv cameras watching to see if you all are acting in unity as a team it a team work remember. Then you have 5 min to present what you have written down on the flip chart to a panel of 8 judge. Your team is to select a presenter who would do the presentation you can have up to two people presenting while the others in the team would be asked questions at the end.

Next stage is one on one interview with the interviewers this is the final stage. It a panel of 3 Interviewers. Majority of the questions you be asked is relating to what they see on your cv like I was asked about my favorite music artist cause my hubby is listening to music. You also be ask on your job experienced on your cv.

Like for me I have experienced working in the hospital cus I studied human physiology. So I was asked why did I chose to work in a bank?

Finally you would be given breakfast and launch and those that came from far places would be given thanks for coming envelop.

Never rely on online websites for information on bank salaries.
They provide very wrong information.

And as regards Zenith bank. The young man is correct.
Confirmation takes 4 years.

It's youe information as regards Polaris Bank salary structure thay confuses me.

The information below is from an insider.

2.5m is before confirmation.
After confirmation it's 3.5m
Confirmation takes 6 months

Hwta grade is your cousin?
Is he a Graduate trainee?

Or is he a contract staff?

Also, please ask his grade.
Is he graduate trainee in probation?
Or Executive Trainee?
Or is he contract staff?

I'll also like you to get his own I formation on the salary before confirmation and after confirmation.

EA - 2.5 million p/a gross pay before confirmation.

After 6 month and meeting target you get confirmed and become SEA.


SEA- 3.7 million p/a gross pay.

How do banks post people to branches? Do they post you within the geopolitical zone where you live or they could just catapult you to anywhere?

Trust me people would be scattered around after the training. If you are lucky you end up in head office and if you not any state within your geographical zone as long as it is in your CV

Yeah! That is after confirmation when you become SEA.

During the probation you come in as EA for 6 months.

I cant tell how many they would be recruiting this year it can be more or even less.

The only thing i can do is just put tips on here for the assessment center once you peeps have been invited.

Last year they invited the best 200 people to assessment center and only 120 of us scaled through to the medicals stage.

In short let me be specific Polaris pay their graduate trainee #205, 000 after confirmation.

Your fact are right but this is monthly gross pay before confirmation. But by the time you calculate tax it get lesser.

Success in advance for those who took the test yesterday. please note that you might get a mail before the end of tomorrow and if am right just like last year when i applied the Assessment center would be this Saturday at Lagos in Churchgate, Victoria Island. Please start getting set to travel. If you scale through this stage you be going for medicals and within 2 weeks training school. I wish you all the best of luck.

I was once like you guys last year when i applied and now my story has changed. The assessment center has four (4) different stages and it all going to be one day from 7:30 am to 5 pm.

As regard to the pay structure all the blogs carrying the pay structure of Polaris bank are actually wrong. You would be paid monthly and also benefit quarterly allowance after confirmation. It actually armed robber salary, if you know you know.

Contract staff in Polaris bank earn 75k a month and quarterly of up to 30k. Now imagine what a full staff would be earning.

I haven't gotten a mail too. I am in red team. Two of my group members got a successful mail and one got rejection. The last person is yet to get a mail. I believe it in batches and a lot of rejection mail was sent too.
