Nyanabo:
VickyRotex,

Thanks a lot, the links you gave me are they videos or ebooks and are they downloadable ?

Im sorry I cant check them now cause am busy I check it later.

Edit: I just check all links are leading to a blank page nothing visible.

Well save for the new horizon.

Hi, not sure why you are unable to view the links. I can access them on my end. I just tried launching them again, and the links work. Have you tried a different browser or device?

Also, maybe you can troubleshoot first by trying to see if you can access the Cybrary landing page (https://www.cybrary.it/)

If you can access that landing page, then I recommend you search for the courses, as those links should take you directly to the courses but since they don't try searching for them manually.

are they videos or ebooks and are they downloadable ?

They are video classes with note taking features that you can extract.

If you are looking for ebooks I recommend going to this thread, there are loads of Google drive with Cybersec resources. https://www.nairaland.com/4578961/cybersecurity-cobit-togaf-cysa-aws - thread landing page

https://www.nairaland.com/4578961/cybersecurity-cobit-togaf-cysa-aws/4#89654600 - this should take you directly to one of the comment with google drive folders.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/179D_slEOLXWOTeFdmRrMkdV8C4DSLdYT?usp=sharing - For contents relating to Cybersecurity in general.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Bantino:
See as I de look you

Supervisor, see as me dey look you

StubbornGENIUS:
There's no justification here. The crime rate was alarming, hence my comment.Though it was wrong of me to cite a particular location.I now regret that.

You are right, such acts i do not condone and no one should too,no matter the region, state or tribe where it took place.

If you so wish.I think it's very obvious that you misunderstood my stance and saw that comment as tribalistic.Am really disheartened by that.TC.

In bold: QED!

Thanks for taking to correction.

StubbornGENIUS:
I still need you,an experienced seer,to teach me how to explore.

Not experienced

Bartork:
Going at it like its balling and riding time

lol eyah I can send Pepe over to help

Wish you more strength, more wins

Nyanabo,

Don't quote my above comment. The antispam bot is likely to ban you cos of the links. Feel free to mention me if you have any questions or comments.

Nyanabo:
Thanks, actually due to the pandemic NYSC has not started deploying batch B prosepective corpers

Can I get the links to the online courses you mentioned

Alright start from here:

Good thing is Cybrary has these courses free for the month of July.
These are mostly beginner courses so they'd be helpful. You don't have to take everything.

• Cyber Network Security https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/cyber-network-security

• Intro to Cyber Threat Intel https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/intro-cyber-threat-intelligence

• Adv Cyber Threat Intel https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/advanced-cyber-threat-intelligence

• Web Defense Fundamentals https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/web-defense-fundamentals

• Kali Linux Fundamentals https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/kali-linux-fundamentals

• CCSK https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/ccsk

• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals https://app.cybrary.it/browse/course/microsoft-365-fundamentals-ms-900

There are also other online resources I can proffer if you're interested in exploring more. Let me know.

Regarding the state i have known where i would serve but i believe any state with a good institute would influence my decision

Well, maybe. But again with technology everything is literally online today. So even if you're enrolled at an institution you could be taking the classes online.

If you ask me I think the online classes/courses are preferable or much better.

There are couple of good learning hubs in Lagos, Abuja maybe anyone living around those places can suggest.

However, NewHorizon has always been a highly recognized tech learning institution and I believe they still are. They're available in the locations i listed above and even more. You can check their Cybersecurity outline here:
https://newhorizonsnigeria.com/corporate-training-courses/information-security-courses/

Let's see what others have to say.

Friendlo:
Tnx

You're welcome

Bartork:
Nice

Pepe

Am fine, day was tougher but it's ok

I know why

No it's never to late to ask anything. Better said late than never

Good morning

Sorry to hear about the tough day. I hope today compensates for it.

And you're right! Better late than never.

Good morning

Bartork:
Analysis is good

But don't rush me into failure

hahaha failure you say? Nah! Well that's okay, doesn't have to perfect from the get-go.

Do you think I'll makes if if we hit the studio

Yesshh!!! Absolutely!!!! remember there's only 1 thing nothing The Lannisters cannot do.

Bartork:
Hahahah
Good morning. How are you doing today

Good morning Mr. Lannister,

Exactly! "Could". So you should explore and see if you are a seer.
