lanrayx:Thank you. I think we are mixing up things here. Please refer back to the link I shared. I would have shared the images earlier but had little time. That's the reason I asked if you were coming as an international student, Degree (Undergrad/Masters) and what your program (Course) is. For most programs (Courses) on that link, it clearly states the deadline for international students. I also believe you know the meaning of Individualized Program. It's different from the way the regular programs are run. Please check the link again, and check each course and its deadline, not Individualized Program. Also the last picture you attached for the deadline, also did not specify if it's for international students, or people living here already. I have attached a picture, for the Education Program. Deadline for that is September 15th, but it also doesn't specify if its applicable to International Students or not. I know for sure that Application deadline for Engineering Programs is exactly as I earlier mentioned. And I know that different Programs run their deadline separately too, but most of them are the same. However, if the program you put in for clearly tells you that deadline for application for Winter as an international student is September 15th, then great! The most important thing is, you applied before it. I have attached some pictures, and I believe it will be more explanatory. Thanks!

edeXede:The dog you see standing is the second dog. Did you read where the Op said: "After spending minutes screaming while its partner looked on, the dog was rescued and freed to its delight."? Check the third picture, you'll see there are 2 dogs. |

lanrayx:Are you an international student? What degree and program are you going for? Is it for Concordia University? Actually for Graduate degrees, deadline for Winter Admission is June 15. You can check out the link below for Application deadline for each courses. However, they mentioned that late applications are welcome, but at individuals risk cos like I earlier mentioned, it's first in, first out. And depending on whether the program is competitive or not. Application deadline for Summer is October 15th Application deadline for Fall is February 15th For International students coming for Undergraduates degree, application deadline for Winter admission is today, September 1st. http://www.concordia.ca/admissions/graduate/apply/deadlines.html Cos it's not feasible for an application deadline for Winter to be October, considering that study permit processing takes time in some countries. So they put all of this into consideration and try to finish the application process at least 3 to 4 months before resumption. |
toludadon:Oh okay. I also forgot to ask, If you were coming in for Undergraduate or Masters. Sure no problem, you can send a pm. |
careerwoman:Always a pleasure Mon Chérie! Will extend your regards to her. |
toludadon:Oh Good! Then I'd still say you reach out to the Program Coordinator as earlier advised. Probably early next week if you dont hear back by the end of the week. Have you been in touch with the Program Coordinator of your department before now? And what Program did you put in for? |
So Easy, Fast, Friendly and Efficient ![]() |
toludadon:I believe you should hear back from them anytime from now. Cos admissions are usually granted to international students at least 3 to 4 months before school resumes, cos they are aware that the student needs CAQ (Which takes roughly 20 business days) as well as Visa (Whose duration can be sometimes "undefined" ). Also, the admission is processed as First in, First Out! When did you apply? I would advise, if you don't hear back at the end of the week or early next week, kindly reach out to the Graduate Advisor of your department, or the Admissions office. All the best! |
obtwice:Oh sorry, I'm just seeing this. You dint quote me properly, so I dint get the mention. Please check your inbox, I have replied your email. |
careerwoman:I see you dear. We Miss you! ![]() |
Rocorleone:Amen! God Bless you too! |

I am so embarrassed right now! Isnt this the same Pervert whose story of speaking pidgin was posted on NL sometimes last week? And looking at it again, by the same Moniker. So this is what we now celebrate? What's wrong with us in this part of the world? A Turkish regarded as white? Ehhhh God! Even the pervert is calling himself oyinbo! Naija, some of una dey dissapoint me, make I no lie. |
GlitteringStar:Amen. God Bless you too. Thank you! ![]() |

Hello, Everyone, ![]() Been a while. I trust you're all doing well, and keeping Faith Alive! It will end in Praise, worry not! ![]() So, I am here again to give back. Anyone coming to Montreal for the Fall Semester 2017, for studies, and require assistance with settling down. From the Airport pick up to being comfortable here, can reach out to me. I have been privileged to do this for new students, a couple of times now (As this was the same way people I met on this forum assisted me back then too, at no cost). Just let me know if you require pick up, assistance with settling in, navigating your way to school and getting the right information. Don't worry, it's for FREE! At no cost at all! Please note that I'm not doing this, to ask you to bring anything for me. As earlier mentioned, I believe this is my way of giving back, and God willing, I'll do better as the year progresses. Amen! PS: Please brace up for the Fall/Winter Season. Looks like it's going to be really cold this time. As we had little or no Summer at all. Especially in Montreal. So we don't know what the rest of the year holds, but we hope for the best. Don't worry, when you come in, you can shop for Winter. But a Fall Jacket wouldn't be bad for now. Have a safe trip. And once again I wish all TRV hopefuls the best. I forgot to mention: You can also reach out to me if you intend to study in Montreal, and yet to secure your Admission/Visa. Whatever, Information you require, I am happy to assist at no cost too. Or direct you to the right source. Thank you! |
MrMarc:God Bless you, Justwise. Great job! I am one of the many Nairalanders that benefited from the "Travelling to Canada" thread, I think I started from Part 5 or 6. And looking at how far the various parts have come, it's Amazing! There's just a lot to learn from all the threads. Once again I want to appreciate everyone who has been of great assistance to one another here. And to everyone who assisted me back then too. I am still very grateful and will continue to be. God Bless you all and I wish all Admission and TRV hopefuls the best! |
She is beautiful! God Bless the work of your hands, my dear! Do not give up! Victory is just around the corner. |
But wait fes, is there no Yaba Left in India? ![]() |
ReneeNuttall:Oh lol.. Orishirishi. Never heard Ekuke. I only knew them as Bingo ![]() |
CaraJewel:I tell you sis! Super cute and intelligent. ![]() |
ReneeNuttall:Hahahaha. lol abi. What does Ekuke mean though? ![]() |
ReneeNuttall:Awwwnnnn so cute! ![]() |

lol. Yea. We figured that's the reason. But dont allow him spoil the Earth. You can create kindof a "make believe" for them. Also we figured that bathing them often helped. Plus the scolding ofcourse. ![]() Nice idea to crossbreed. I kinda like crossed more. |
ReneeNuttall:Bwhahahahahahaaha I cant laugh oooo OMG I'm sorry about the breakin. But this is so funny. I guess you guys have patience then. One of our dogs was like that. My mum gave him out sharp sharp after all the training and it dint work. I noticed our female dogs were more aggressive than the males. Now, that I look back, I think the training helped. |
ReneeNuttall:Hahahahaha. Ekuke Chaiii. I can relate. My dogs were like that too. They eat anything. Just forget your cloth on the line, the next morning you'll find them sleeping on it. At some point, they dug our compound to the extent that water started coming out in some places. They do that cos during the hot weather, they prefer to sleep in and keep themselves cold. My mama no dey gree, she beats them ehn and puts them on leash. Na we go dey beg for their bail ![]() You just got to love dogs. They're Amazing! |
