1. Why do you want to start the F1 VISA application as an incomplete applicant ? Later, you will say " My AVITS profile is on Pending Approval " for the past 3 - weeks.

2. A complete F1 VISA applicant is one , who " Has received and date-signed Form I-20. Has paid VISA fee (MRV), and Has paid SEVIS fee.

PS: F1 VISA applicants, as described in sense -2 above will usually be granted appointments prior to their school resumption, at worst , you will apply for expedite (emergency ) appointment.

PS: If you want to proceed by all means , then initiate the DS-160 application and save it for the future, and use the ds-160 code to request for your appointment. But, how will you upload the Form -I20 you have not received , as a requirement in requesting for F1 VISA interview appointment?

🙏
Thankyou sir,
My concern is that I have faced visa denial 3months ago, and I will not qualify for expediated appointment.

1. Click on your ticket and see if it has been resolved by reading the content. Otherwise raise another ticket by attaching your payment evidence , as well as 1st page of your I-20 (merge together as PDF). Yours might not be up to 3 -weeks.

CALL the help-line too.

Thankyou so much sir
Although My I-20 is not ready yet sir. i just hope it will get resolved. do you think i will still be able to get a date before the end of this year if I wait for 2more weeks

Good Evening Sir,
I made my MRV payment by Bank transfer on Monday 23rd and till date no response, i opened a ticked on Wednesday still no response.

Thankyou sir

1. Don't be concerned. Fill another DS-160 as you have planned and attend your visa interview with both old and new ds-160s . There is no update profile option in the new AVITS website, so it is understandable. Fill another DS-160 or update the current one as soon as you have decided on your final school.

🙏
Hello sir, i made payment by bank transfer, it was successful from my app, but the website was saying payment confirmation failed, i have submitted the reference number. its been 24hours and no feedback what do i do
How will the feedback come?

1. Normally he should use his Nigeria address and phone number as well as official email in contact information. He may then use the 3rd country address as a mailing address or work address. DS-160 is a delicate form so, i don't like giving opinion if I don't know the application background. I answered reluctantly, so you won't think one is a braggart.

PS: The applicant can use all Nigeria addresses and contact information. F1 VISA applicants are free to apply from any country, but they should be ready to give concrete reasons, if a consular throws the jab.

PS: Besides, the applicant is presenting a Nigerian passport, so the hiding game should be minimal. They knows you are a Nigerian, from Nigeria.

🙏
Please look into my question above i will greatly appreciate your response

Hello I want to book an appointment at the lagos embassy this week, however, i have not made a final decision on the school because i am still expecting another schools decision. but on the personal details form, i saw that i will not be able to change personal details after paying the mrv fees (Very important: once you pay the visa application fee (MRV fee), the personal information registered on this page cannot be changed..
I will update the school on the DS160 form, However i am concerned that the school on the appointment slip and DS160 may not tally.

If there will be no batch B,they wouldn't have posted that "bach A admission list released" via check status on their site n is it possible for them not to admit any of the candidate who didn't choose them in jamb?why have they sold out form to them?all I heard was that they gave those who are to pay acceptance fee an extension and that's what causes the delay but not very sure.So my fellow aspirants we only need to exercise patience,I realised that even uniosun that released their first batch list like 2 weeks before OOU are yet to release their second batch list also.We don't have choice, let's wait and see.I pray God will give every one of us a reason to smile when the second batch list comes out...hope this is helpfulhuh

26 STUDENT FROM OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY GRADUATE WITH FIRST CLASS IN 2012 – 2014 ACADEMIC SESSIONS

Twenty-six graduating students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, for the academic sessions 2012/2013 and 2013/2014, bagged first class degrees.

The vice-chancellor, Prof. Adejimi Adesanya, disclosed this on Tuesday during the convocation held inside the expansive OGD Hall, at the main campus.

Still in the first degree category, 1,333
graduated with second class upper division,
4,925 bagged second class lower division,
2,239 bagged third class while 699 got pass.

The best graduating student is Miss Ayorinde Damilola, Faculty of Science, Department of Plant Science and Applied Zoology. She scored 4.86 as her cumulative grade point average.

In the postgraduate category, 1,159 bagged various degrees in different programmes.

The breakdown showed that 98 bagged Ph.D, 850 bagged master’s degrees while the remaining 211 bagged postgraduate diploma.

The vice-chancellor said the institution had
recorded phenomenal growth in recent times in the area of infrastructural development.

He said almost 30 building projects embarked upon by the institution were at various stages of completion.

He said, “Our university since the last
convocation had made giant strides and
recorded successes in every area of our
activities. I commend the members of the
Governing Council for their selfless
contributions and to the vision for rebuilding the university to an enviable status.

“The university in its charge has witnessed
huge and unprecedented infrastructural
development on all campuses of the
institution.”

On the issue of accreditation of more courses, Adesanya said the medical and pharmacy programmes had been given full accreditation by the National Universities Commission, while the institution nursed the ambition of introducing more courses in the nearest future.

He said, “As part of the efforts to strenghten and improve the number of existing programmes in the university, the university has got the NUC approval to commence a degree programme in civil engineering.

“I am happy to report that the NUC resource visitation for the programme had been carried out and the first set of students for the programme would be admitted from 2015/2016 academic session.

“In the coming years, the university shall be expanding due to demands into providing
programmes in nursing, physiotherapy,
radiography, estate management, quantity
surveying, and veterinary medicine.”

In the area of students’ welfare, he said the off-campus policy of the institution had been reviewed with the commencement of hostel facility on main campus.
