Mirabel and I stood dumb for many seconds to collect what our eyes were seeing,,, they were drunk and still having more, the place was smelling crazy, they've been smoking marijuana and other type of weeds, and substances like cocaine and all, they were smoking their lives out. I don't even know any of them there. Lola, Cynthia, Dax, Vincent and those two friends of Lola's weren't there with them. We irritatingly walked passed them to the rooms.
Mirabel: Seems Promise left

Mirabel: But she didn't inform any of us
Me: Was she even at the pool party?
Mirabel: I didn't see her there
Me: It could be that she left during that time, She'll never party like that

I was so weak, I didn't eat well from the party, I managed to gather some strenth before I could have my shower that night. I first had my shower before she did.

Mirabel: I called Nancy and told her what happened, she requested to come at once but I told her to wait till later that the guards will fetch her

Mirabel: Yea, I told her to remain there while we're still here
(Then I remembered Vincent spent the night there and he might still be there)
Me: No, she has to go back to the house... She can't stay close to Lola
Mirabel: Lola and Cynthia are on their way here, they will go to school from here
Me: They'll make it to school today after last night?

The Doctor started lecturing me on the implications of taking excessive yoghurt. My mind wasn't with him, It was the four months exile that bothers me.

She came and stood in front of me smiling,,,she looks so adorable and extremely beautiful. I looked at her with love written all over my face... I took charge of the situation by offering her my hand, she accepted then we walked like newly weds to our seat at Lola's right side. The MC continued with the menu after the cheering from the guests.
The MC called on the celebrant to get her man by her side. Another romantic drama took place when Lola brought her guy Dax to her side.
The party continued from one interesting item to the other... from cutting the cake to dancing, artistes performances and other entertaining performances. Lola's boyfriend, Dax also performed a special song for Lola,,,, that was when I know that he was a Musician.
The time for general dance,,, everyone started taking their lady to the dance floor, I also did the same. I noticed how Nancy looked at me when that Vincent, Dax's friend offered her his hand as a request for her to dance with him. I just nod a 'go ahead' for her so she'll not fall his hand. I wasn't focused on my dancing because I was watching them for any wrong dance moves but he danced like a gentleman,,, although I was still suspecting him (Vincent).
The refreshments were extremely refreshing, I didn't ate much though,,, I reserved myself for later when I can eat comfortably, probably with familiar eyes and not otherwise.
Later in the evening around 7.pm or thereabout, the MC announced the main event of the menu which is the "Pool Party". Everyone cheered and applauded to the anouncement. We all surrounded the pool in groups, some in twos and others inside the pool already having fun with non-stop party music and drinks. There were balls, water-guns and so many things that made the pool party fun for them.
I was with Dax and Vincent chatting and getting to know each other, I was very comfortable with them,,, that was how we became friends.

Me: I remembered everything, even from the first time I saw you, I can still remember vividly like it was all yesterday. How it all started from hate to love

I smiled sheepishly then drew her closer and initiated a kissing session that led to a hot romance for many minutes. The romance came to an abrupt end as I pulled off when the thought of my sister popped up.

Me: Yea I know. Oh... wait, you thought I was going to.....? Nah... far from it, my mind was far from that. I just want us to go inside and probably continue there 'coz its late already

I went back to the pool and saw that the party was over and most of them had left, remaining some in twos that were just talking while others were making out. I was looking around every corner my eyesight can reach to catch them red-handed,,, by that I meant my Sister Nancy and that Vincent but I couldn't find them. I met with the male bodyguard and asked him if he has seen her. He replied saying he hasn't seen her all night. My heart started beating with rage, I thought of what i'd do the instance I catch them together. I went inside Mirabel's lodge, there she was sleeping on the chair. I became speechless.... Mirabel woke her up and showed her where she'd sleep. I told Mirabel to join me go to Lola's lodge to eat that I didn't eat well earliar, She agreed that she also want to eat too.
We went there, and I saw that the party continued in there, they were dancing nude.

Sunday came up so fast with lots of expectations for Lola's birthday party. I wore a cool fitted suit, my best suit actually with a hat. While Nancy wore a dress Mirabel provided for her.
We arrived the place before 4.pm and the place was wow! full of exotic cars, that was my first time of seeing a Lamborghini car and others. Music was booming the environment, I saw so many good looking and sophisticated persons in attendance. That was when I had a thought of pride that I’m rolling with bigger girls. Well, I didn't feel intimidated at all because, I got a nice ride and well dressed as well.
I met Mirabel's guards standing at the frontage of her lodge, I asked them if Mirabel was inside, they replied positive. Some guys and girls were seated in the parlor but Mirabel wasn't. She then announced the arrival of the celebrant, every one stood up clapping their hands while Lola and her escorts came out, my mind became cool when I saw Nancy with them. Mirabel however, handed over the mic to the MC after making a comment that…

I refused to eat that afternoon pending the dinner later. I set myself ready to eat as much as I could. But I still did my two hours study, there is no barrier for that because I have a goal to achieve.
I left the house with Nancy later in the evening and got to the VIP Inn where Mirabel, Lola and Cynthia resides. The Gateman opened the gate for us, they even changed their Gateman. We alighted from the car and went inside the Mirabel's lodge that's where they fixed the dinner. Entering the parlor, I met Cynthia and two other girls dancing. I recognized the two girls, they were the ones Lola used to intimidate Dorothy the other day. They paused the music to welcome us, I asked after Lola and Mirabel, Cynthia said they went to the restaurant to get the eatables for the dinner that they'll be here in few minutes time. She offered us Champagne, I declined for myself and Nancy as well and requested for juice instead.
Nancy: But Bro, I have never seen champagne before except in the movies,,, let me taste it small please...
Me: Nancy it's not as good as You see in the movies
Nancy: Have You tasted it before?
Me: Yeah and I regretted it

Mirabel and Lola arrived few minutes later and the bodyguards dropped the bags they were carrying on the dinning table. Lola greeted me with a hug and Mirabel with a kiss. Lola directed the girls and the lady guard Jummy to arrange what they brought in for dinner and Nancy also helped out on her own accord.
Two huge guys came in some minutes later, Lola introduced the dark one to me as Dax her boyfriend and the other fair one as Vincent, Dax's friend. Cynthia said her boyfriend couldn't make it today but promised to come on the main birthday party. After the introduction, we settled down to eat,,, there was so much to eat and drink. I watched Nancy very closely so that an unplanned event will not take place. I ate as much as I could especially the chicken. We first ate fried rice and chicken with wine or juice in the first hour, rested for 30 minutes then ate meat pie with egg and well-prepared roasted fish with any drink of choice. Some rested, others danced for another 30 minutes then they brought in suya that expensive and well-prepared one, that was the day I ate suya like no other. After that, they shared cake and enough ice-cream. Then they increased the sound of the music and started dancing and drinking whatever You like. I also danced very well that night. I saw the fair guy Vincent getting closer to Nancy when dancing but she avoided him which got my mind settled. My eating didn't end there,,, I still ate suya and the roasted fish later on and ended it with a cool hollandia yoghurt.
Around 11.pm or so, I told Mirabel that We'd be going home, She told me that we should all spend the night there but I refused her till she had no choice. I had to go home because of my Sister, can't leave her for that huge guy. They even tried to convince us to stay but I gave them a 'NO' that signifies no hope at all. Its a good thing Nancy didn't even want to stay.

We arrived home safely, I had to set an alarm before I slept that night in order to avoid waking up late for lectures.
The following day, I gave Nancy some money to go to the market and get what we needed in the kitchen while I went to School.
Mirabel followed me to my place from lectures with the korean movie I told her to bring for me. Got home, Nancy served us lunch,,, Beans and plantein.
Nancy: Woah this korean movie
Mirabel: You've watched it?
Nancy: Yeah but I didn't started from the beginning and I haven't watched it to the end yet,,, so interesting
Me: Alright go and play it
We started watching the movie, I read the summary on the disc's cover,,, Oh! its titled "Boys Before Flowers". We watched and discussed on the movie till nightfall with generator because the power was seized. I didn't even read my book that evening but I promised myself to read very early the following morning. Mirabel didn't go that night, she came prepared to spend the night. We went to bed around 10.pm because of School the following day, but we left Nancy with the movie.
I went to have shower first to avoid being called a dirty boy...

After much thoughts, I decided to call My Uncle to greet Him and there I can also know if He's the one that sent the money or not,,, afterall, He told me to call Him whenever I get to School. I dialled His number... and He picked up.

Me: I'm fine Sir
Uncle: I spoke with Your Dad, He told me Joy has delivered a baby
Me: Yes Sir, We thank God for the save delivery
Uncle: Yes,,, and I'm made to understand that You're in School already
Me: Yes, We've resumed Sir
Uncle: I told You to call me when You get to school right?
Me: Yes You did, I apologize for not calling

I left Her in the Parlor, went inside my room, grabbed my notes and went to the house library to read. That's my secret for answering well in class and also performing well in tests. I study whatever that I was taught in School later in the evening and also raed it again in the early morning of when We have the Lecture again. All what We were taught from Monday to Friday, I studied them at home on Saturdays and sundays. So don't think that I'm so intelligent or calling me a genius for my intelligence,,, Its because I studied hard.
My Uncle wants His record of having Second Class Upper to be broken, I thought for a little. He was the one with the highest result in the family, My Dad had Second Class Lower which put him in the Second place after My uncle. That day was the day I officially set My goal of beating My Uncle's record. And You know what that means, First Class things.
I left the library after for almost two hours, I dropped my notes in the room before walking to the Parlor, Nancy was still there watching TV, Although I perceived something coming out from the kitchen's direction.
Me: What are You preparing?
Nancy: Spaghetti
Me: Again?
Nancy: We ate rice in the Afternoon, what's again?
Me: Are they not the same thing? Can't You cook something else rather than these starchy foods? If not rice its spaghetti or noodles or yam sometimes
Nancy: But there's nothing else in the kitchen
Me: What about Semo or pounded yam
Nancy: There are no ingredients for soup in the kitchen
Me: Can't You buy them and other things from the market?

She went to the kitchen while I took the remote to the channel to either music or sport channel. She came back a couple of minutes later with my food, I ate and rested before calling Mirabel and then retired to bed after praying for the night and the new day I'll be entering.
The next day in School, I met and chat with lola, Mirabel and promise with some quarter-friends that we only greet each other or talk about lectures only. Lola and Cynthia came to our Department when we were free,,, We all had lunch together, that is Lola, Cynthia, Mirabel, Promise and I.
Our first semester result came out and I did great except for Maths that I had "C", I really needed to work very hard on Maths. Mirabel and Promise did very well too,,, And surprisingly, Lola and Cynthia's result wasn't bad at all. I guess they have their way because,,, those girls ain't really serious with their studies.
As time goes by, Lola and I became close friends. I snatched her from Mirabel same way She snatched Promise from Me. I got to learn the other side of Lola, She's fun to be with, full of exciting stories and experience.
I couldn't take it anymore from Dorothy, so I brought the situation to Lola not telling Mirabel about it. She told me to play along with Dorothy, that instead of giving her my house address, I should give her another address where she (Dorothy) would meet me and She'll take care of the rest. I did what Lola told me to do,,, I pretended to give in to Dorothy's pleas and made her to meet me in a certain place. She came at the appointed time and I drove her with the car Lola gave me to use to the address she provided. I didn't know what she wanted to do, and my mind didn't even think of Lola killing Dorothy at all.
We arrived the location, an uncompleted building and I horned as Lola directed me to do.
Dorothy: Victor don't tell me You live here
Me: No I don't
Dorothy: Then what are we doing here?
Me: Just came to check on someone
Dorothy: Victor I'm not comfortable with this place, let's go

Lola showed up with Cynthia and other two girls looking weird and dangerous, I was scared myself.

I kept dialling her number from that day but she kept rejecting my call till her line stopped going through, I thought she had blocked my line so I tried using another line but it still didn't go through.

In School on a Wednesday afternoon, Lola announced that her birthday was coming up on Friday but she's going to celebrate it on Sunday evening. One talk led to another and they came up with an idea to have a dinner in respect of Lola's upcoming birthday at Mirabel's lodge. That would be the first time Nancy will be going there. I begged Lola specifically not to involve Nancy on any act, because Nancy claimed to like Lola on their first meeting and always want her around. She promised to be cool and friendly with Nancy and nothing else. Promise said she can't come and didn't give any suitable reason for not coming. Mirabel tried to talk her in but she still declined.
When I got home, I told Nancy about the upcoming birthday and she appeared to be very happy, I causioned her to behave herself for I won't tolerate any misbehaviour from her.

Sometimes I thought about going easy and cool with Nancy, because she might rebel against me later in the future when she realizes some things. And I also thought about something, if Nancy should go out and start doing bad things now,,, what can I even do to her?

Well, well, well,,,, Little by little our relationship is going forward. Both our mothers knows about our relationship, now remaining the bosses, our fathers.

I took my new iPad and wireless modem and started browsing immediately, It's so fast. I set everything in the iPad, my google account, whatsapp, Facebook among others. I downloaded more than 15 applications and over 20 games.

I spent my night on the internet browsing and downloading till dawn. After the morning activities, Momma and Nancy left for the shop leaving me and the boss at home. The boss was in the parlor working with his laptop, he goes to his office anytime he likes because he is the boss and he can work at home using his laptop. I called Mirabel, recited a poem for her and professed my love for her. I silence my phone before i went to my bed to have a cool sleep. I had a daymare, I saw myself getting married to Lola, and i wasn't happy . It was as if i was forced to marry her. Something was about to happen when the minister asked if there's anyone here that have a reason why the two of us should not be together, I saw someone like a figure from afar,,, i felt some kind of feeling instantly before i was interrupted by the boss (my dad) he called me to open the gate for him that he's going to the office.
After he left, I tried to sleep again but i couldn't sleep anymore. I kept thinking about the dream, why did i dream of getting married to Lola of all people, and who was the one that wanted to crash the wedding?

I had to pray seriously that moment using Isaiah 7:7 to terminate the dream from ever coming to pass. I struggled with courage to wash my clothes as i will be leaving the following day,,,, i so much hate washing. Why?  because i started washing my clothes when my elder sister Joy got married last year and left our house. Thank God there is a washing machine at the house Mirabel gave me to live in. After washing, i spent the rest of my day on the internet, without even checking the games and apps i downloaded. I met new cool friends online especially at coolval22.com i love online friends better than close ones.

Later in the night, the Boss called me to his room to talk as Father and Son.

Boss: U are my son, and i expect to see myself in u,,, but it doesn't seem so yet. Why I'm trying to trust u now is because, many youths of our society start doing wayward life on higher institutions but instead, u got better. Your mother has been very happy and pleased with u recently, she says you've really changed, that u are now a good sensible boy and all that. For me, its your grades in school that will make me to trust u completely. If your first semester result comes out, and u performed well beyond my expectations,,,, Then i will purely understand what your mother has been telling me, I will surprise u, I will provide for u whatever u will need, i will support u in any way that will enhance your motivation. I thank God for blessing me with those jobs, with it and other connections from it will make me fulfill my promise. For these jobs has increased my level, professionals higher than me were dropped because of me. I don't know how it happened but i know its a favour from God. So please, make me believe in u, so that i can trust and know that u won't cause any trouble, then i can fight for u no matter what to prove my son's innocence. Are u following?

Boss: Good,,,, as u are going back to school, do not keep bad companies, be prayerful, study hard and make me proud. He then prayed blessings for me before i left his room to write down my needs.

I didn't even know what to write, i feel like I'm okay. My bank account is still intact, i didn't use the money that was sent to me when i was in school. I just wrote down some things with a total of  #6,800 and gave to him. He looked at the paper and looked at me, he looked at the paper again and then went inside to his room and came with some Naira in his hand and gave to me.

Boss: That's 20,000 you're holding, U may need it for other expenses

Boss: Its okay...

Momma also gave me her own piece of advice, both morally, educationally and otherwise. She asked how much my Dad gave me, I told her the amount,,, she then gave me #25,000  and promised to backup some money in my bank account. I tried to resist it but she insisted and left me with no choice.

I felt like too much money, i gave Nancy #5,000 and she hugged me crazily and happily.

A week later after resuming school, Nancy came in and We made her stay in my place as planned without her knowledge at first untill we explained to her how I got to be living in that huge house. She had no choice but to concur to the arrangement we made. She thought I was staying in a single room with room mates thats why she wanted to stay with Mirabel. We told her that, both Mirabel and I don't have room mates. She asked why but no explanation was provided for her. She concluded on already having a place to stay when She starts schooling with us. And as for me,,, I now have a cook for two to three months. Even though Dad will return home before then, still he won't be stable so there's no need for Nancy to be going and coming. She will only go home when Momma arrives.
I later spoke with my Sister; Joy on phone to talk to her and also congratulate her for giving birth safely,,, Her Husband wasn't even around, He flew to Cape Town, South Africa. He was a Pilot.

On a Tuesday afternoon after school, Mirabel and Promise went to their places while I left for mine,,, I got a call from Dorothy before I entered the house and the following conversation ensued...
Dorothy: I want to come stay with You even for a week
Me: Why?
Dorothy: Because I miss You and I'd also like to know the School that I'd be going as from next year
Me: You applied for the University?
Dorothy: Yes, I didn't tell You?
Me: I don't think so

Me: No You can't come,,, If You really want to know about the school, You should look for a girl to stay with or better still, wait for the post UTME Exams

I just laughed to Her stupidity and went inside inside the house. Nancy served me a good meal which I ate and drank a cool yoghurt, then I went to sleep while Nancy has been using my wireless modem all day. I woke up later in the evening around 4 or 5pm (Nigerian time) I checked my phone and saw some missed calls from Momma and also from Mirabel whom I saved as 'Love Mi' of which the Yoruba can translate to My Love but I actually abbreviated her name to 'Mi' - Love Mirabel so it became of two sides either 'Love Mirabel' or 'My Love' and I also missed a call from Dorothy too.
First of all, I dialled Momma's number,,, we just exchanged pleasanries, asked about our wellbeing and all of that bla bla bla. Before I dialled Mirabel, She picked the call in no time.
Me: Hei Sweetheart
Mirabel: Hi, where have You been that I've been calling You?
Me: I was sleeping, I had to rest from the hot lectures we had today
Mirabel: I thought as much because I know You can't just refuse to pick my call, but even at that, you should've known that I was the one calling and You should've woken up to pick

I refused to call Dorothy, I might even block Her again. I checked my unread messages and I saw two messages from Mirabel which read "Where are you and why are you not picking up my calls?" and the second one "Are You there??" I supposed It was when I was sleeping and missed Her calls. I saw a message from First Bank then I recalled when Momma said She'll back up some money in my account. I opened it quickly and saw that my account has been credited but it wasn't from my Mum nor from the Boss because I know their account number. I relaxed to think for a moment...
*Could it be Mirabel?
*And why would She send me money after all what Mum had told Her about not giving Me Her money?
*Or Mirabel did it so I won't know that its from Her?
*But who else can send Me money?
My thought got to my Engineer Uncle, but He doesn't send me money just like that, untill I call or something

I called Momma but She said She didn't send the money, I called the Boss,,, thinking He'd asked if I have I gotten the money but He didn't, which means He wasn't the one. I called and asked Mirabel but She denied responsibility.

Did I mentioned that I prayed over the issue of Lola? I have actually been praying over it. It became my top prayer point since the day I dreamt that I married her. I prayed over it seriously in the Night Vigil we did recently back home. During the night, I felt something rubbing my feet up to my leg,,, I quickly grabbed my phone and switched on the light to the direction only to see Lola smiling at me by this time of the night **What a witch** I adjusted and laid back, this time holding Mirabel very closely till i managed to sleep. I woke up the following morning feeling a slight headache but kept it to myself not telling Mirabel. I was alone in the room when i woke up,,, I went to check if they were still around, I got to the parlor and heard their voices in the kitchen. I went back inside to brush my teeth and had my bath as well. Of course I didn't feel good when Mirabel said I stinks last night.

Mirabel: Honey where are you?

Me: I'm in the bathroom

Mirabel: Ok hurry up' Breakfast is served

Me: Alright give me a minute

Mirabel: Or may I join you?

**She wants to trick me again, once bitten twice shy**

I had my bath, dressed up then went for breakfast. I got ready to leave, I told Mirabel to come back later in the day to talk on the matter at hand, She agreed to come before they left.  Home alone and you know what that means,,, thinking of what to do to while away time and other weird imaginations. First thing i tried to was to watch TV, I got bored and switched to video games before i realized something. That I have always wanted to use my laptop to surf the internet. Now I have the means with my Smile 4G wireless modem. I dashed to my room at once to get my laptop and wireless modem. I got them, switched them on, connected the laptop with the wireless modem and gained internet access in no time and i let out a satisfactory smile. I downloaded so many softwares that i have always wished to have in my system. They seized the power, I on the generator because I was so into the internet and can't leave it not even for a minute. I was so in to it that i didn't know when i passed lunch time, yet I didn't feel hungry but I'm actually hungry

Me: Hello Promzy

Promise: Hi are you at home?

Me: Yeah, what's up?

Promise: I'm around, on my way to your place

Me: Okay,,, please do me a favour

Promise: What?

Me: Errmmmm,,, help pass by an eatery and buy me something to eat,,,, something simple like maybe meatpie and burger,,, don't worry about drink, I have some

I continued browsing and downloading till she arrived a couple of minutes later. She gave me a cool hug when i opened the gate for her before i ushered her in to the house.

I went in to get some drink, the one Mirabel brought yesterday with two glass cups.

I offered her the juice while i helped myself,,, We gisted on so many things while eating till she finished her drink and boldly asked for more. While talking, a part of me wanted her to go so I could continue surfing the internet.

Me: I hope its not large files?

I connected her thinking i would be free to focus on the internet but I was wrong, She kept asking questions upon questions.

The following morning, after our morning activities, i started getting ready to leave anything 11am. Momma arranged foodstuffs for me of which i declined the ones i don't like such as beans. I only collected small quality of it so i can prepare it with rice.

After much preparation, i left some few minutes past 11 and arrive my apartment about an hour later. Did i mentioned where i was schooling? OK, I was schooling at the University Of Abuja studying Business Administration.

I informed Mirabel of my arrival, she said she'll join me shortly. I also informed my Parents. My uncle told me to call him when i get to school but i don't want to,,,, I know he wants to give me money.

I was about doing some clean up before i discovered that the place is even tidier than the way i left it. I was surprised a little because i was relieved from doing the cleaning. So,,, who else could have done it if not my lovely Mirabel. But how??

*I quickly dialed her line*

Mirabel: Hello dear

Me: Sweetheart,,, how did u do it?

Mirabel: Do what?

Me: The house, its cleaned up

Mirabel; Oh yea,,,, I sent some cleaners with my guards to get it done. Hope they did well?

Me: Sure, they did great. Thanks dear,

Mirabel: Its okay... i think its my duty to clean for my boo especially when he's too lazy for house chores

Me: I'm not lazy

Mirabel: I know, that's why i said for house chores,,,, U re lazy on that

Me: Well,,, there's nothing much to do there and Mother and Nancy takes care of the few ones

Few minutes later, I went to the gate to check who was horning,,,, The car doesn't look familiar but i know it was Mirabel, she got another ride for another semester,,, cool. She drove in, parked, and then alighted from the car were Cynthia, Mirabel and Lola.

But she didn't tell me that she'll be coming over with them,,,, Chaai Mirabel!

Cynthia: Hi Victor?

Me: Hello Cynthia,,, long time

Mirabel ran towards me and gave me a cool romantic hug,,, I lifted her up and turned her around romantically and we shared a cool kiss while i was still holding her before i dropped her to her feet.

Mirabel: I've missed u so much

Me: I miss u too...

Lola: Hello Vames **Smiling**

Me: Lola, how are u?  how'd u know that name?

Lola: Why don't u usher us in? instead of questioning us under this scorching sun **helping herself in**

Cynthia looked around then joined Lola

Mirabel: Yeah,,,, but they insisted on coming, that they would be bored at the lodge

We went in together, Mirabel served the food. I don't know why she's the one doing it while Cynthia and Lola were there. The food wasn't fried rice and the drink wasn't hollandia yoghurt but the food was irish potatoes with egg and fried chicken with some kind of spice I've never seen before,,,,, with one nice orange juice like that which i later discovered that it was imported.

Cynthia and Lola ate on their own, while Mirabel and I ate together but not in a romantic way because i wasn't comfortable with Lola's presence.

After eating,,,, she (Mirabel) took all the dishes to wash. Her humbleness surprised me a lot,,, how can she, being the leader of their friendship and the President's Daughter be be doing dishes for her friends?? I really can't understand why.

I helped her in the dishwashing of which she tried to decline but i superseded her. We wouldn't had completed the dishes without some cool kisses initiated by me.... we were yet interrupted by that Lola again!

Lola: **Clears throat**  Do u have korean movies in this house?  I'm bored

*This girl is annoyingly funny sha*

Mirabel: Lola, there's no Korean movie here

Lola: But he lives here, let him answer,,, he might have, who knows...

That's how the witch left without leaving any evidence for me to hold against her.

I didn't know what they talked about.... Later in the evening, Mirabel and I lay on the couch together waiting for Lola and Cynthia to get going but they seem to be very comfortable.

Mirabel: Don't u girls have any where to go? No party? No clubbing No dates and all?

Lola: Since when do u care about that? Or aren't u the one preaching change on us?

Mirabel: Ok now U have changed?

Lola: Errrmmmmm,,,, I just don't feel like going anywhere. We just arrive campus na, we'll rest for today

**58 minutes later**

Mirabel: U girls can go,,,, I will spend the night here.   Lola? Cynthia? Cynthia? Lola?! Lola wake up jare!  **Hitting them to wake**

Lola: **Sleepy** allow person to sleep na

Mirabel: U should go to the lodge then, before it gets too late.  Lola? Lola!

Me: We'll leave them let them sleep here while we go inside the room

We went inside the room, Mirabel had a shower. She told me to join her of which i jumped up to feet before she declared that she was only joking. I told her that i will only shower that night if only i join her,,, She told me to suit myself.

She came out after a few minutes

Mirabel: Its your turn

Me: Did we arrange for that?

Mirabel: Alright, go and shower

Me: I'm okay....

Mirabel: But u stinks

Me: I told u that, i won't shower if not with u,,,, so I'm keeping to my word

Mirabel: Okay,,,, but u will keep your distance oh,,, and we'll only talk

Me: Yes of course, its not my fault that its nodding like that. I can only control it as its master but can't stop it from nodding to available frequency. Its like that, so can we talk now?

**Knocks on the door twice then came in without waiting for permission**

Lola: I need to take a shower, sorry i had to wear this, can't find anything else to put on **walks into the bathroom**

She was wearing my shirt. I was stunned and speechless so was Mirabel.

She finally came out after spending almost 30 minutes in the bathroom. She laid on the floor

Lola: Goodnight guys,,,, woah the floor is so cool

I thought Mirabel was going to get angry and react, but she actually looks as if she wanted to laugh while i was burning inside of me

Before i could say 'Mi' the door opened without knocking

Cynthia: (Sleepy) So all of u camped here and left me all alone in the parlor,,,, msteeeww **She also laid on floor side by side with Lola**

Mirabel started laughing out,,, I looked at her with an angry face.

The next day, I told momma about my car,,,, that i don't want another car from Dad. But she wasn't happy about it. She doesn't like the idea of a girl spending for a guy,,, She advised me again telling me all sort of things. She said that, she'll also talk to Mirabel about it, to stop spending on me. She continued saying that, She can use her money to support your home when u get married if possible and not to be spending on me anyhow now. Telling me to wise up and be the man in the relationship and not otherwise. She added that she will be sending me extra money apart from my Dad's so that i won't depend on Mirabel. It was then she understands why i don't call home for money when I'm in school. She made me promise to be man enough like my Father.

I didn't enjoy her advise at first, but when i later think about it,,, she's absolutely right.

Later that day, I decided to call my Uncle the Engineer... But he didn't pick up, he could be busy or something.

I called Promise, we spoke for a while about  when we're resuming because the school has resumed already. She said she will resume next week, i told her i will be leaving home next tomorrow. She then changed her mind to resume in three days time.

I called Mirabel, and the following conversation ensued after the pleasantries...

Me: I shall be leaving home in two days time and u still haven't told me about the stuff u hid for me

Mirabel: (Laughs) Did u even try to find it at all?

Me: Well, i did tried

Mirabel: I doubt if u put in your best to find it,,, I know u. Check inside your old school bag u hung on the wall

Me: U came to my room?

Mirabel: Yep, Nancy gave me a tour

Me: So, she knew about the stuff?

Mirabel: Yep but not the content

Me: Okay, i will check it out after the call, So when are u going to school?

Mirabel: You're going next tomorrow right?

Me: Yep if nothing comes up

Mirabel: Okay, see u then

Me: Next tomorrow?

Mirabel: Yes

Me: Great, i miss u so much

After a little more chat, we ended the call. I went straight to my old school bag to fish out the stuff. I saw a parcel, i brought it out and sat on my bed to rip the wraps open ...

Uncle: How are u?  I saw your missed call

Me: I'm fine sir,,, I just called to hear from u

Uncle: Okay, I was busy supervising a building site. So how's everything, studies and all?

Me; All fine sir, but I'm at home still on break

Uncle: Okay, it's alright. Call me when u get back to school

Me: Okay, bye sir

That's what he calls Nancy, saying he don't like the name 'Nancy'

Me: I will sir and greet  Jonas and Justina for me

I ripped off the wraps, it was an iPad and a 4G SMILE wireless modem. Then i saw a piece of note that read....

"The small device is a 4G wireless modem containing 10gigabybe of data that u can be using without subscribing with your phone anymore. It will be renewed every month but u shouldn't worry about the subscription, it's in place to be renewed automatically and u will be getting 10gigabyte of data every month. The wireless password is ************ and please share with Nancy, it can cover the whole house. It's charger is in there, U charge it when the battery runs out.

Woah! Unlimited data for me,,,,  enough internet activities for me. My happiness faded a little when i remembered what Momma told me.

I switched on the iPad, and went straight to the video folder, there was only one video in it. I opened it and saw that it was the video tape of us kissing on campus. I was like what?!

I quickly placed a call on her and she picked up almost immediately

Me: Hello Mirabel

Although, I initially woke up thinking someone was trying to kill me or something, so i rose up aggressively and pushed the intruder away immediately before i could even know who the person was.

In this kind of situation, i had to insult her harshly so she'll get angry and leave me alone,,, besides, she can't tempt me because i don't like her. Actually, i hate her but i won't admit it because it's not proper to hate someone.

She eventually showed up about 38 minutes later while i was already enjoying the movie i was watching,,,, "Fast & Furious" to be precise.

Dorothy left after looking at me some how without saying a word to me.  I entered the car and we zoomed off.

We got home, had lunch, rested a little then spoke with Mirabel on phone... I even told her about the good news and she claimed responsibility for it, that she did it. I appreciated her for the huge favour. She also told me that, My Dad will go places because of what she did through her connections and also be a big deal in ICAN (Institute Of chartered Accountants Of Nigeria). She advised that, My Dad should do his best so that he'll get personal favours and good deals from very big businessmen.

Woah,,, I can't believe how my life is going smoothly, peacefully and sweet,,, This is surely the hand work of God. My life hadn't have turned this way if i hadn't changed from my bad ways. I believe God punished me so that i will follow the right path and also fulfill the life He has orchestrated for me. I really thank God for His Goodness, Faithfulness, Love and His Mercy.
I had my siester, after that, we held our House Cell Meeting which lasted for an hour. I became bored,,,, I can't play my Play station game because Dad was in the Living room watching ChannelsTV. The Tv in my room is faulty and i left my laptop at my school  house (The house Mirabel left for me to use). I don't enjoy playing games with my phone,,, I think i need an iPad for games. One thought led to another, so i decided to spend time on Facebook. I came across a page that posts stories, i checked on a story which was on Episode 17 and saw lots of good comments. I decided to follow the story, i wasted lots of MB because of pages i had to load before getting to the Episode 1 and pages i had to load again in order to continue the story. I read to Episode 26 and couldn't further because the person posting it stopped there. I really need to continue the story, so i thought of trying Google because i know it got answers to almost everything. The story was titled "Adebimpe The Facebook Girl" i really liked it. It was written by one Onihaxy.
I searched and i got many results,,, i clicked on one link, the site was so disorganized for me to understand. I left it because i got other options from Google, I clicked on another link and it was the same thing, I clicked on another link and i discovered that the one i read was the season 2. I couldn't find the season 1 in the site so i checked in another site. In this site, the Story was arranged from Season 1 to 4, I started reading from the season 1 till i got exhausted. The site was actually coolval22.com, i explored the site and discovered many Stories and many talented writers.
Even after saying good night to my Parents, i still continued the Story on my bed till i decided to sleep around 2am and woke up past 5am by Momma for our morning devotion.                                     
Daddy left for Lagos on Tuesday as he said, I requested permission from Momma to go to Aso rock (Presidential villa) to see Mirabel and Nancy will go with me. She obliged saying it would be a 3-day visit because she don't like being alone. She was still on the process of getting another house help since she let the previous one go because of me. Why? well,,, ermmm, Momma caught us in the act on three different occasions. She knew i'm a changed person now, that's why she reconsidered having another house help.
I informed Mirabel about our visiting on Thursday, She sent her bodyguards to pick us with a cool tinted SUV ride which we were later told by the guards that the car was bullet proof. They came on Wednesday evening and lodged in a hotel before coming to our house the following morning. Mirabel sent many stuffs for my Momma through her bodyguards Frank and Jummy who happens to be secret lovers. On our way to Aso Villa, Nancy was far more excited than i am. She claimed to fully charged her phones so she'd take enough photos when she gets there.

**Phone rings**

Me: Hello Mummy

Momma: Victor you have to start coming home immediately, your Daddy called that he is in the airport on his way back

Me: What? But i thought he won't be coming back anytime soon?

Momma: Yes,,, he said he forgot some important documents and hard drive that he will use for the job, that he underestimated the job not realizing how big the job is. Are u there already?

Me: No, but we're almost there. we've passed the first two gates already

Momma: U have to turn around now and get here before your Dad gets here before u

Me: But Mummy,,, Isn't there a way u can cover for us?

Momma: No way, what do u want me to tell him? did we inform him that you and Nancy will be going out to anywhere?? Besides, U know i don't lie,,,, not to you or to anyone else most especially not to my husband,,, call Mirabel and tell her what happened. It's better to unintentionally disappoint your girlfriend than deceiving your father. I'm still feeling guilty for the one u did the other day

I took my phone and placed a call on Mirabel and told her about the setback. She was really sad about it, she said, she's made all necessary arrangements for our stay. I apologized to her of which she sadly accepted.

We got home before Dad came later in the evening. After three days of his stay, the job got postponed till upper week Monday which unfortunately, i won't be able to make it to Mirabel's invitation because i will be gone to school by then. She tried her connection to cancel the postponement but was an abortive attempt because the company wasn't ready. The company will have to produce every necessary documents before the audit can take place. Nancy was deeply hurt, she felt so disappointed.
I can't tell my Dad about Mirabel, He wouldn't tolerate me having a girlfriend,,, he's so strict about it. Even when i got into trouble with those soldier women, left for him he wanted me to remain there as long as it would satisfy them.

Dorothy came to my house on a Sunday, she came to my room when i was sleeping, she got her self naked and tried to get me naked as well (I was sleeping shirtless) before i woke up to see what she was trying to do.

The morning came so late, or maybe it was because i didn't really sleep that night. It was a Sunday so we started the necessary preparations for the Sunday's service. We normally go to Church as early as 7:30 against 8:00 which was Sunday school service before the normal Church service at 9:00am. During our morning devotional, Daddy gave a Testimony.

Daddy: Last night when you all went to bed, when i was here (Living room) doing some work with my computer. I checked my E-mail, I received three mails from three large companies for me to Audit.

Nancy: Woa... that's nice Daddy

Daddy: Yes, It's a great one. It is a great favour and also a great challege, because i've never had this kind of opportunity before in my 9 years of Auditing. Three large companies at once, and their dates did not clash with the other, which means i shall do them one after the other. This is a big favour from God. The companies are Nestle Nigeria, First Bank PLC, and Flour Mills Nigeria.

Nancy: Daddy are u serious?

Daddy: Yes, and i shall be leaving for Lagos on Tuesday to process some things before starting the job on Monday next week. I can't tell when i will return

Momma: We thank God, it's a blessing, a wide door opened for us

Me: This is really great, it's more than a open door, we should call it an Open Gate From Heaven

Nancy: Only God knows the amount of money Daddy will get from these jobs,,, i'm so happy!

Daddy: Like i said earlier, It is a great favour and also a great challenge. So i need God's favour; wisdom, knowledge and understanding; His mercy and also the strength to do the work. So we are going to pray seriously for that this morning. But we are going to thank God first for the huge favour

We went to Church, the service was awesome. The Speaker was a guest Pastor and i was really blessed. Daddy also gave the testimony he testified earlier at home and the congregation rejoiced with him. After the service, we had to wait for Momma because she had to wait for their Women Fellowship Meeting. Dad and Nancy were inside the car. I leaned on our car replying messages on whatapp and forgot i had been trying to avoid someone. My ex girlfriend i didn't date, Dorothy.

If not for fact that i'm practically involved in this matter, i wouldn't even try to meddle in the situation. If not for her stupidity, why'd she be using the new phone during dinning and in the presence of Dad. Her stupidity is becoming too much.

Me: I gave it to her Daddy, it was given to me by my friends who contributed money to purchase it for me as my birthday present

Mummy, Nancy and I looked ourselves in a suspicious manner.
After dinner, we all assembled in the living room pending 9:00pm where everyone can be eligible to go inside. Nancy was also there with us and not hiding at the dinning table this time because of Dad, he had seized her phone many times because of excess usage. So, she won't be able to chat until past 9:00 when she'd escape to her room.

Boss: Lemme see the phone Nancy

She went to unplug it from where she's been charging it and gave it to Dad

Boss: Which one is this one?

Nancy: It's iPhone

Boss : It looks nice, so what will u do to the blackberry?

Nancy: I will still be using it Dad, i have another sim card that i need to be using

Dad: This one looks expensive, how much is it sold?

I got a call from a friend, i went inside to get it. After the call, I dialled Mirabel's.

Mirabel: Okay, it was my cousin living in the U.S that informed me about the video asking me if i knew anything about the upload. He owned an ICT Company there and he also do some special job for YouTube and other big companies. After he told me, i checked it out to confirm if it was really me which was actually us, I freaked out and immediately told him to do something about it as the number of views kept increasing. He said some people had downloaded the videotape and others even uploaded it to their website. He said he could do something about it though. I gave him the go ahead to rid of it. Then he hacked into the into the server of every site the videotape was uploaded to and got every copy of the video down. He also used the IP address of those that downloaded the video to hack their system and deleted the videotape.

Me: Woah,,, he must be a genius

Mirabel: Yea,,, that's why he doesn't come home much because the white men wouldn't let him. He is well valued, he even married a white girl there, we had to attend the wedding from here.

Me: I will like to meet him one day

Mirabel: Sure,,, I told him about u already. We understood each other a lot.  He also brought down everything that was tweeted about the videotape on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram with his connections. Although, he spent lots of dollars to get it all done.

Me: U guys must be close

Mirabel: Very close,,,, we were almost inseparable when we were kids. Although he is almost 5 years older than me. He started in forth grade in the U.S and was stuck up at the top throughout his school. Always the best in the class, science fairs, he was even the prom king while the prom queen was his girlfriend who is now his wife.

Mirabel: Exactly what i told him about his life. He is currently working on his autobiography, to be launched probably in two years time.

After hanging up, I rushed to the living room. Dad was working with his computer while momma was watching her 9pm phillippians telenovela and Nancy has long gone into her room. I bade them good night then rushed back to my room and found my phone ringing. I checked it but it was an unknown caller.

Me: Hello

Caller: Hi Victor,,, long time No see

** It was a feminine voice**

Me: Yes i guess, sorry who're u?

Caller: Even though u blocked my other line, yet u dunno my voice?

I can only remember blocking Lola's number and the voice i was hearing sounded like hers.

Me: It'd be good if u tell me who u are now because i have something important to get back to

Caller: By something important u mean Mirabel?

Me: What do u want?

I tried to call her back but it was switched off. I really don't get it, what was she talking about? she seems to know what she's talking about and sure of herself. Oh no i hate stuffs like this! I hate problems!!
Lola left me in a worried mood, I know she could be dangerous from her desperation. I wish this was a film trick. Maybe i should start writing about my life, after all i've always loved writing. I shall write about my life because it looks like a movie.
I couldn't speak with Mirabel that night because of my current mood, so i texted her to let her know that something came up. Then i started thinking and imagining things with my heart full of worries.

After sleeping angrily the previous night, a knock on my door woke me up which was time for our morning prayers. We prayed for so many things including safe arrival of our Dad and safe departure of Mirabel among others. We did our morning chores, bath then had breakfast. Mirabel's bodyguards came and took her away, after saying her goodbyes to all of us and also promised to come around some other time.

I thought Nancy would be sad about Mirabel's departure, but she seems to be happy which got me wondering. School resumes in one week time, But I would be leaving in two or more weeks. After much thought, I decided to go inside only to see Momma and Nancy happy over what they were checking out.

Me: What's all this?

Nancy: Mirabel got all these for me and for Mummy

I saw lot's of dresses, bags, shoes and jewelleries and an iPhone and an iPad. My eyes burst open.

Me: When?!

**No response**

I saw Momma admiring the wrappers Mirabel got her and Nancy using the iPhone with her teeths out.

Me: Is it iPhone 6?

Nancy: Yes bro,,, she's so awesome! this is what i've been dreaming to have

Me: So Mummy got the ipad?

Nancy: Yes

Me: Wait, how did she say it?

Nancy: How do u mean?

Me: As in,,, she didn't mention me?

Nancy: No, why? she didn't leave anything for u?

Me: Why would she leave anything for me, am i not the one who should be taking care of her? I only wanted to know if she mentioned my name

Momma: Why?

Me: Huh? No, Nothing precisely

Momma: Hope u don't expect goodies from her?

Momma: See, I'm telling u today, don't ask for anything from that girl. By the Grace and Mercy of God, your Father and I are here to provide for u because it's our responsibility Okay?

**Later that day**

Dad arrived home, Momma had to close early from the shop to welcome her husband. He brought lots of goodies,,, that's what i love about him. Before Momma and Nancy came, we had a little chat.

Boss: So you're ok now?

(Yea that's what i call him)

Me: Yes sir

Boss: Good,,, go and get me water from the Cway

Me: Ok sir

I rushed to the Cway, got the water, return back to him and gave him the water. After drinking, i collected the cup and took it back to it's position. He stood up, probably going to his room. I heard the car horning at the gate, I ran to open it for Momma for to come in. She entertained her husband before we left for Church by 7pm.

We returned back from the mid-week service as we normally do every wednesday, everyone went straight to their rooms to drop their Bibles and also change dresses. Lest i forget, Mirabel called earlier and the following conversation ensued...

Mirabel: Hi dear, I'm home now

Me: At the villa?

Mirabel: Yes of course

Me: Ok good, how was the little trip?

Mirabel: It was fine, except for the spoilt road at some parts of the road

Me: Maybe your dad hasn't come to that part yet

Mirabel: I dunno what the FCT Minister is even doing in that office, imagine

Me: Don't mind him (Not enjoying the topic) So how is my heart doing?

Mirabel: Very well but kinda not feeling too happy, Dad and Mom aren't home. They both went different places, Dad went to Canada for a meeting or so and Mom went to Uganda for African's First Ladies Conference, I'm feeling so lonely.

Me: Well, I'm not surprised for the whereabouts of your parents, having a whole Country on their shoulders is not an easy task

Mirabel: I know... Just can't wait for school to resume lemme get away from here and be with who will there for me at all times

Well, base on how i watch Hollywood movies, if someone says a person won't be a problem, the next thing that follows is some kind of a problem or even death. I hope that's not the case here. Of course not!

While thinking seriously on what to do to have enough money to get something for Mirabel, I went to my hommies to lend me some money. I couldn't find the trusted ones, they could be somewhere having extra fun. The few ones i met were so drunk, they denied having any money on them. I had no choice but to go home empty-handed then put up something as an excuse.

I got home 8:47pm, I discovered they've already eaten. I met Momma in the living room seated on the sofa, Nancy at one corner of the dinning chatting or so, but Mirabel wasn't there.

Me: Good evening ma

Momma: Welcome,,, big boy

Chai! Am in trouble, she's going to blast me this night...

Me: Sorry for coming late, its really becau...

Momma: Go and eat your food, its in the kitchen (She interrupted)

Me: Ok ma

One thing about my Mum is that, She doesn't play with food. She makes sure everyone in the house have something to eat at the appropriate time. My Mum don't starve anyone as punishment, she's seriously against such acts.
I walked straight to the kitchen, Nancy was demonstrating her hands towards me but I didn't look at her to understand what she was trying to say. I didn't even ask of Mirabel. I served my self and ate on the kitchen's dinning, the food was already cold. I didn't really enjoyed it. I walked back to the living room to face the panel (Momma) that's what I say when I know I'm going to be blasted for doing something wrong. I got there, met Mirabel seated not looking good.

Momma: Have u eaten?

Me: Yes ma

Momma: Oya come and seat down here.

(Blasting tinz, here we go...) I said in my mind. I sat down jeje let her say it, I dare not interrupt her speech.

Momma: (she lowered the volume of the TV) Nancy come and seat here

Nancy: But Mummy... (She squeezed her face and walked angrily to take a seat)

Momma: Good evening to you all

All: Good evening ma

Momma: U know as a Christian mother, I will always make sure I put my children in the right way because this is a Christian home. Which means I will never get tired of correcting them whenever they go wrong.  Nancy drop that phone before i seize it! what's wrong with u?!

(She put her phone away)

Momma: Now Victor, U know I no longer tolerate staying out after 7:40 without permission. Today U just went out without telling anyone where you were going to and just left everyone worried. I have said and kept saying that u always let someone know your whereabout to avoid unnecessary worries. And God forbid but if anything should happen, how do u expect us to know where u are? What if something bad had happen to u now? where do u expect us to start looking for u? This is wisdom we're talking about. I have been telling u, even though we're not with u at school, u should always inform your room mate or neighbours about where you're going to. Besides, I don't advice u to go out at night, I'm not comfortable with night out. What would u go out at night for? U have a girlfriend already,,, what else? Look at her, she hasn't eaten because of u even when she knew u are ok when I called u the other time. U see what u did to this innocent girl? Now where is the thing u got for her that made stay out late?

Me: Actually, I forgot to take some money because i was in a haste, I thought I had enough money on me

Nancy: So u didn't buy anything at all?

Momma: Am very disappointed Victor, very disappointed. All this for nothing?

Me: Sorry ma, I didn't know

Momma: U can tell her that, am done talking to u (she turns to the TV and put up the volume)

Nancy didn't wait time to get to her room as its past Nine already, while Mirabel followed.

(I thought she'd decline, Thank God she didn't)

Momma: Call Nancy to warm it for u

Me: I will do it

I took her to the kitchen

Me: Mirabel I'm really sorry for....

She interrupted me with a cool kiss, she smiled and cleaned my lips. I stood surprised.

Me: Wow! easier than i thought (smiling happily) thanks sweetheart for your understanding, you're the best! and I love U so much

Mirabel: I love u more

Me: It's a lie, sorry,,, I mean ermmm,,, I love u more (smiling)

I drew her closer, we kissed passionately for seconds before interrupted when I mistakenly hit a plastic plate which fell off unto the ground and made a noise.

We warmed the food, She ate, I couldn't eat again but I drank some yoghurts. We went to the sitting room to bade Momma good night before going to the room (Nancy's).  And ofcourse she was still in there chatting,,,, what an addict like Promise aka Promzy, geez!

Nancy: I've been waiting for u Mirabel, U promised we'd continue our discussion later.

Mirabel: Yes I did promise, and I haven't forgotten (smiling)

Nancy: Okay

I drew Mirabel to a corner where Nancy wouldn't hear our conversation.

Mirabel: What is it?

Me: I thought You'd spend the night with me in my room?

Mirabel: But we never planned on doing that

Me: You should know na, remember u turned me down last night?

Mirabel: So what happens to Nancy? I promised her but I didn't promise u anything

Me: U came here for me and not for her na

The party got hotter, I started feeling uncomfortable when I thought about home and Mirabel. I started adjusting but the girls wouldn't stop whining in front of me. I didn't know what to tell her, but seriously, a part of me was giving in and the other part wants me to go home.

'Devil is a liar' I said inner my mind.

Me: I have to go, something very important came up

That was the insults she rained on me when i left her. So what do I get Mirabel now? and I don't have enough money with me. Walking home, thinking hard on the kind of excuse i'm going to tell them. And even though i have the money now, what am i going to get her?
I immediately brought out my phone and placed a call on Promise... I told her everything after picking up, excluding the girl's part.

Promise: Hhmmm....

Me: So what do u think i can get her?

Promise: Seriously i dunno o... me and her haven't discussed about her past relationships to know the kind of material things she might want from him. But base on what we've discussed about u, I think she only needs your 100% love with care, understanding and honesty.

Me: So u girls do talk about me?

Promise: Before nko? dey there na,,,, abegi, so i think gifts from u will be extra things she'd be needing from u

The reason why i'm so worried to get Mirabel something is because i already told them about it and she'll be expecting it.

One thing we should all know is that, once u have the spirit and resources of giving, u should give with good intentions. It doesn't matter if the person is rich and able to provide everything for him or her self. U don't always give to the needy, U give to the rich as well, especially to your close ones. If your father is rich and working, U can still buy him Biro or even recharge card and he'll surely appreciate the kind gesture. U don't need to have all the money u want before giving to your parents, give them from the little u earn for they'll understand your income and appreciate your giving gesture for there's blessing for giving.

EPISODE 7

Around 5:21am I heard a knock on my door and momma's voice calling my name, it was time for prayer.

I joined them in the sitting room, we prayed, did some chores, bath, then ate bread and tea.

I didn't know if i should be angry with Mirabel or not. I hate being disappointed. Was i even disappointed by her?  She made her point sha buh i still didn't like the fact that she turned me down.

Mum got prepared to go to the shop with Nancy. Mirabel asks if she could join them. Mum agreed while Nancy was glad. Mum asked me if i'd join them, but i declined.
Mirabel took me to a corner and gave a me kiss,,, just a kiss before she left with them. I was left at home,,, alone.

What i did?

I rushed to the kitchen, took a big cup, put a lots of my momma's  powdered milk with chocolates, then used cold water to drink it.
I went to the sitting room to watch movie,,, many channels were showing interesting movies, series, music and shows but they bored me. I got out of the house to the game house. I related with my hommies and they showed me love. We played, gists, we had fun till i left there later in the afternoon when i got hungry. Mum called me to inquire if i would go to the shop for lunch, or prepare something to eat at home, or buy something to eat. And of course i chose to buy something. I don't really enjoy suya in the day time so i bought meat pies and hollandia yogurts. I got bored at home again, i decided to watch the television and NEPA seized the power. I don't chat when i'm bored so i just slept.

I don't know how long i slept but i know i didn't wake up intentionally. My rap ringtone actually woke me up and the tone appeared in my dream.

Me: Hello *horror voice*

Promise: Hi,,, why weren't u picking up? Have u been sleeping?

Me: Yeah

Promise: Yeah,,, seems so sounding from your voice. So how u doing?

Me: Fine i guess

Promise: Mirabel told me she's been at your place since yesterday and that you weren't feeling too well, so how u feeling now?

Me: Better,,, i'm ok now

Promise: Of course, why won't u be ok now when she's with u

Me: I just woke me up from my siester

I saw 2 missed calls from Promise.

The power has been restored back buh i still wanted to sleep. I was enjoying my dream before Promise cut it short.

It was even her call that made my dream sweeter. Because i was hearing my rap ringtone in my dream.

The dream was....

I was the class and the Lecturer was lecturing. Then suddenly, the Lecturer start rapping my ringtone which was 2Pac Shakur's in the class. I joined him in the rap 'coz i know the rap and i love it.
That's how my Lecturer and i was rapping in the class before i woke up and discovered that it's my phone that has been ringing.

Later in the evening, Mirabel and Nancy came back from the shop to start preparing dinner. I really missed her,,,, i mean Mirabel.
We exchanged pleasantries and i got just a peck from Mirabel.

After they did a little freshen up, Nancy went to the kitchen while Mirabel came to me.

Mirabel: I will be leaving tomorrow Victor

Me: I thought u would spend the week here?

Mirabel: I never planned on doing that, besides your Dad called to inform your Mom that he'd be coming tomorrow

Me: So, U will leave me like this?

Mirabel: Like what?

Me: Come on,,, not even a kiss? Or kisses rather

Mirabel: **smiles** (she walked closer to me and whispered) we're preparing fried rice and chicken for dinner, mum would bring some yogurts. So hold that thought for later (She gave me a simple kiss on the lips then walked away smiling)

About 45 minutes later, I started perceiving a delicious aroma from the kitchen. I couldn't bear the suspense of the aroma any longer so i left the house to the game house, I hate suspense.

There was a kind of party at the game house. I was told earlier but i forgot. On reaching there, they start hailing my name. I felt like a local celebrity. They dragged me to a seat claiming its mine and brought in drinks for me. I don't drink alcohol anymore but i couldn't refuse it because of how they were hailing me. They showed me love. And the hailing also made some girls come around to me. I was hesitating to drink but my guys were rushing me to drink before displaying on the dancefloor. I finished one bottle, they opened another one for me. I was about to empty the bottle, two of my guys dragged me to the dancefloor. The people that knows me started screaming. My head grew big, the DJ changed the music to one of my favourite song for dancing which was 'Alingo' by P'Square. The song burst my head that i didn't know when i started dancing. Its been long since i last danced but i still didn't missed my moves. Before i knew it, girls started bringing their waist close to me. One even came and put my hands around her waist then she started twisting it for me. The party 'entertainers' came to me from behind and offered me some short of gins and a condom (That's how we party) It was the gin that got me high.

After dinner, its our house tradition to remain in the sitting room till 9:00pm before anyone can go to their room.

There was total silence during and after dinner. Nancy sat on one corner chatting and waiting patiently for 9:00. Mirabel and I sat on one side while momma sat on the sofa, looking at us from time to time.
The clock finally ticks for bed time, Nancy took herself from her seat headed to her room, not to sleep though but to chat and make phone calls comfortably.

Nancy: Goodnite mum, nite bro, let's go inside Mirabel

Mirabel was about to stand up before momma speak up.

Mum: She will join u later Nancy, I need to talk to her

Nancy: Okay mum **walks out**

Mum then turn down the volume of the plasma tv. I became nervous because she only does that when she has something very important to say or to do. My eyes and Mirabel's jammed, she seems to be relaxed.

Mum: I want to talk to the two of you. Firstly with some questions and i require sincere answers from both of u. You know, relationships is now something very common with our youths of today and there's nothing we parents can do to stop our children except for our honest advice. I wasn't there when you started your dating or relationship or whatever it might be, and i know deep down my heart that i can't stop your relationship, i might just turn out to be a wicked person. Are you both listening to what i'm saying?

Me/Mirabel: Yes ma

Mum: Good, so why are you both dating each other? Victor

Me: Because,,,, we love and care for each other, we understand and trust each other, and we uhmm... we want to be with each other.

Mum: That's why you're dating?

Me: Y-e-s-s

Mum: Okay, Mirabel?

Mirabel: We're dating each other because,,,, what we feel for each other is true, we're good friends that understands and help each other out, no one is influencing the other to do something bad so i think we're compatible together. Our relationship is that of friendship hoping to make it to the future together.

Mum: Good, i like that reply. That's something i want to hear.

(Chai! I dunno why ladies like being with a guy hoping to end up together. Their mindset is far different from the guys oh... they would want to tie us down to be their husband,,,,, see how my momma likes her response).

Mum: Do you agree with both your replies?

Mirabel: Yes ma

Me: Yes ma

Mum: Good, have the two of you thought of being with each other in the future or do you have future plans with each other?

Mirabel: Ma...

Mum: Victor

Mirabel: Okay

Me: Uhmmm... yea, yeeaah i do think about having a future with Mirabel, I love her.

Mum: Mirabel...

Mirabel: If a prophet tells me that i'd end up with Victor, I'd be extremely happy. He is the kind of man i'd want to spend my life with.

Mum: I guess that answers my question

(U can imagine how my heart was beating)

Mum: Now tell me what can make you break up with each other?

Me: I haven't thought about that, maybe not yet

Mum: Miracle, sorry Mirabel *smiles*

Mirabel: For me, I can't be with someone that will give me a reason for not trusting him. So, i will end our relationship if i find out that he has something doing with another girl.

Mum: Hhmmm.... okay, i've heard you both and I approve of your relationship **satisfactory smile**

Me: Thanks mum

Mirabel: Thanks ma, we won't disappoint you or i won't disappoint you rather

Mum: For my advice, first, both of you should abstain from s£x, God don't approve of it neither would I approve it. Its not good for the unmarried. I'm not going to ask if you both have been having s£x before but if you have been doing it, stop it, it's unacceptable,,,, do u understand what i'm saying?

Mirabel: Yes ma

(Nawa o,,, e don red o,,, am i going back to my root of not having s£x anymore?  Nawa o...)

Mum: Do you both understand that? **her eyes on me**

Mirabel/Me: Yes ma

Mum: Good. Mirabel i like what you said about 'your relationship is that of friendship' I will like you both to be friends. You know what friends does right? Sharing with each other ideas, problems, happiness and all that. Also trusting and understanding each other and be there for each other. Relationships doesn't work out well if there's no friendship, so be friends ok?

Mirabel/Me: Yes ma

(Mehn,,,, i feel like i'm getting get married already, like i'm having marriage counseling)

Mum: That'd be all for now, its late already so u two need to go to sleep.
Me: Ok ma

Mirabel: Thank you ma

Mum: Lemme take you to Nancy's room Mirabel, where u'd spend the night **switching off everything**

Mirabel: Ok ma

Mum: Ok let's go

Mirabel: Good night Victor

Me: Good night, Good night mummy

Mum: Good night, make sure you pray before sleeping

Me: Yes ma

I departed to my room screaming 'Nawa o' inner my mind.

I took my phone and on the data sharparly. Many messages from many different chats showed up but i ignored them 'coz i wasn't in the mood for chatting. I saw a message from Nancy, i opened it and we chatted...

Nancy: So wat do i get 4 helping u?

Me: Yea tnx, wat would u want?

Nancy: I can ask 4 anytin?

Me: I dunno, lemme hear it

Nancy: Ok,,, should i have a boyfriend? *winks*

Me: Wat?! Are u mad?!!

Nancy: Heyy easy bro, i was only joking

Me: U better be,,, tell me wat u want

Nancy: I dunno yet, i will tell u when i think about it

Me: Ok

Nancy: But y don't u want me 2 hav a boyfriend?

Me: Y do u want 2 hav a boyfriend?

I logged out,,, I sat restless on my bed trying to sleep buh sleep avoided me. I thought about something and got back online again. Good thing she was online, so i initiated chat with her....

Me: I cant sleep, just thinking about u, love of my life, one and only tenant in my heart, my dearest, my most beautiful, you're just too much babe

Mirabel: Tnks love, u're dah best

Me: Tnx babe.... u really don't need to worry about all what my momma had said. She's just being over protective.

Mirabel: Its okay, i understood her completely

In my mind i was like, what's she talking about.

Now my momma has known my girlfriend, what does that mean now?  We get married later?? No way!!

No I meant, not that i wouldn't want to marry her. After all, i hit it first,,, geez! what am i saying. The thing here is her family background and status. Well, anything can happen sha but this is definitely not happening, maybe i should think about it.

Mum: An organizational President in your school or which type of President?

Mirabel: The country's President ma

Nancy: Woah!

Mum: Ein? Ojo mi eh... (My God o)

Me: Mummy ewn le? (Mummy what's wrong?)

Mum: U are asking me what's wrong? Have u forgotten how an ordinary soldier dealt with u because of their daughter? Now u are dating the whole commander in chief daughter?! The President's Daughter! Ah! What's wrong with u?! Haven't u learnt your lesson? Do u want to kill me? Eh Victor?!

Mirabel: Don't worry ma, nothing like that is going to happen

Mum: Which of the country's President are u even talking about?

Mirabel: Our country Nigeria ma

Mum: And u said nothing like that is going to happen? what are u trying to tell me??  An ordinary soldier nearly killed him because,,,,, ok i know Victor did very bad on that aspect but its all the same.

Mirabel: I promise u ma that, nothing as such is going to happen. I will everything not to let it happen, and i trust my Dad that he wouldn't do such

Mum: He is your father and ofcourse u wouldn't know what he is capable of. He is a Nigerian Politician for goodness sake.

Mirabel: With all due respect ma, my father is not just a politician but also a great father. His administration so far has been good and promising with little or less criticism compared to his predecessors. 

Mum: My mind will be at peace if both of u resolve the relationship because i'm not comfortable with it **walked towards the kitchen**

Me: Mummy...?

She didn't answer me or turn to face me, she just left. I turned to Mirabel to apologize for my momma's attitude, only for me to see tears dripping down her eyes, one part of my heart developed a soft spot for her while the other part triggered my anger.
Seriously, when someone or something i love got hurt, it really pains me and the person that caused it will have to answer me. Its a good thing that its my another loved one that caused it, if not....
Well, love + love = love. So what can i do to my momma?.

Me: Mirabel...

Mirabel: I have to go now **picking up bag to leave**

Me: But u don't have to, Nancy help me talk to your new friend

Nancy: Uhmm uhmm i think uhmm u know,,,, i need to help out in the kitchen. I will be right back guys **She ran into the kitchen**

That useless sister of mine, now that i needed her to talk, she didn't. Lemme hear her talk more than ten words around me again yeye.

Mirabel also walked out of the house while i followed her.

Me: Come on Mirabel, are u picking offense on what my momma said?

Mirabel: No maybe i should not pick offense when your mother tried to insult my father

Me: She was only trying to prove a point

Mirabel: What? Prove a point u say??

Me: I mean uhmmm,,, u know, the ugh...

Mirabel: U know what? Just...

I rushed to hug her tightly immediately in to avoid the next thing she might try to say. I watch Hollywood movies a lot, so in this kind of situation, she might just say forget about it and then break up with me.

Me: Sorry my love for every hurtful words that has been said to u, i sincerely apologize for all what my momma said about your father, she's only trying to protect her only son. Remember what i told u about what i went through in the hands of those soldiers?  My momma also went through a lot. She went to the quarter guard everyday during my arrest, crying and begging for many hours to see me and for my release of which they didn't oblige until five days later. They actually released me because of her, if not,,,, the colleague of my ex girlfriend's mother swore that i will be there for three weeks, I could've died but my momma saved me, she saved my life sweetheart. Even after my release she abandoned her shop to take care of me for almost two weeks like a mother nursing her new born. U have to understand her my love, we really have to.

Mirabel: U know mother's love are Naturally genuine and undeniably obvious to be noticed. Buh U never told me she went through all that

Me: Well uhmmm,,,, it never came out

Mirabel: But u had the chance

Me: Yea i know, i had to skip that part sweetheart. They say talk brings talk, so here we are.

Mirabel: Its okay, i will do my best. After all she seems to be nice. She was cool with our relationship at first.

Me: Until she overheard our conversation, gosh! u were so loud

Mirabel: Are u now blaming me?

'Tsup' i gave her a quick kiss

Mirabel: And what was that for?

Me: Just trying to kill any arising argument

Mirabel: I rise argument? **pretending**

I understood she wanted me to do it again. I drew her face nearer

Mirabel: What are u trying to do?

U dare not answer that question. I didn't say anything, i didn't even smiled. I gave her a kiss then looked at her face, she didn't respond, probably waiting for an answer of which none will be given. I kissed her again and still got no response from. Woah,,, i love this. This time, i grabbed her waist and drew her very close and started devouring her lips of which she responded to after few seconds. She even laughed to my aggression. She pushed me away after kissing for many minutes....

Mirabel: Go away u naughty lover, u take advantage of every situation. How do u do that?

Me: Lemme say, i know my girlfriend more than she give me credit for

Mirabel: Oh really...? **Placing her hands around my neck**

Me: Yea really... **Placing both my hands around her waist**

Mum: Is this how the two of u want to spend the night?  Talking,kissing, and kissing for dinner?

We disengaged immediately and saw Momma and Nancy standing with both hands crossed. Chai! like mother like daughter.

Mirabel: Sorry ma, i'm even about to leave **stylishly cleaning her lips**

Mum: Really? How come it doesn't seem so??

Mirabel: Uhmmm...

Mum: Its okay, enough of the explanations. I just came to ask who cares for dinner, i guess some people are satisfied with their 'dinner' already. Dunno when that husband of mine will come and.... Let's go Nancy the food is getting cold already, U m'ewn chi ke du mi w'igbada ami (I don't even know why u brought me out here) **she walked inside**

Nancy gave me a thumbs up and a supporting smile before she went inside.

Yeah,,, now that's my sister who's her brother's keeper.

About my family in brief...

My parents has three children and I'm the only male and second child. My older sister Joy, who got married last year to her Pilot lover and she's currently pregnant with her first issue. She lives in Kano and has not visited the family since she got married.

My younger sister Nancy is a jambite, she stays at home and also helps momma in the shop. I'm suspecting her to have a boyfriend, iffa catch any guy near my sister eh...

U all know about me already, i'm the boyfriend of our dear President's Daughter,,, Lolzz  sweet description for me.

My Momma is still young and pretty that one useless guy or man tried to toast her, person mama wey don born finish *imagine*. He got the most suitable insults he could ever get from my momma, its a good thing i wasn't around by that time, That was when i was being tortured by that wicked soldier woman and her colleagues *tear drop*
She owns a big provision store.

My Father is a Chartered Accountant and he travels a lot. I do suspect him a lot that he's still sexually active and i hope i'm wrong. He his the kind of father that the children want to be around, he always bring goodies from his trip. He is nice and very cool. He doesn't shout out of anger, he provides every needs of the family.

I put on my shirt, Mirabel supported me to stand up. I saw how my Momma was smiling when looking at us, i pretended not seeing her.

We got outside, there was two cars. One for my momma and the other for Mirabel. I had to go with my mum's

She quietly spoke to me not letting my momma hear.

Mirabel: Excuse me lemme call the guards to go and lodge in a hotel, I will be going with you and your mum

Me: Ok

Buh, is she planning on staying over? Hhmmm...

We arrived at our house.

Mum: Go and rest on the big chair (couch) lemme join Nancy in the kitchen

Mum: Mirabel make yourself comfortable Ok? I'm coming

A loud awkward silence just emanated from within. 
I saw her smiling whenever i take a glance at her.

Me: What's up with the smiling?

Mirabel: *laughs* Nothing... U look cuter when you're sick

Me: Go ahead, keep teasing me

Mirabel: *laughs* No i'm not teasing u, u are cute

Me: Ok thank u. Mirabel, we need to talk

Mirabel: Why? U want to break up with me?

Me: What did u learn?

Mirabel: That's ermm... whenever a guy or a girl tells his partner that 'we need to talk' its about break up.

Mirabel: U dunno know anything about my father and i told u already that its been taken care of

Me: But how?

**My mum just showed up**

Mum: What is this that i just heard? President? Daughter? Father? And who is kissing the President's daughter??

Me: Mummy... U

Mum: Alu we de! (Close your mouth!) I'm asking u Mirabel, are u the President's daughter?

My sister Nancy brought herself  into the sitting room as well

Nancy: What's going on mummy? *confused*

Mummy: Myself don't understand, I'm trying to understand

Nancy: But i heard your voice

Mummy: I'm trying to get answers that hasn't been provided,,, yet.

Nancy: Senior Bro, Aunty Mirabel what's this about?

Mirabel: Okay, Alright I'm gonna clear the air by telling u guys the truth

Me: Mirabel...

Mirabel: Its okay,,, lemme do this

Mummy: Go ahead i'm listening

Mirabel: I'm the President's Daughter

Nancy: What?
