It's more of a relay streaming site. The technology that we created does not involve the website owner to upload, download or embed any videos. Videos that are indexed are watched directly on SaloneNetwork.com from their sources. Think of it as Google for videos but instead of you going to the source to watch the videos, we bring the video to you automatically from third-party. The website owner never has to spend time looking for videos because our technology is immediately updated as soon as the video for that channel is posted online.

Hi everyone! This SaloneNetwork.com project did not involve creating a new website from scratch. However, we had to create a new template that is compatible with all mobile devices (different types of mobile phones, tablet pc's and computers). The main focus was on mobile phones compatibility for accessing over 22,000 Nigerian movies and millions of full-length TV shows and movies. Since the screens on mobile phones are very small, we had to develop a new technology that allowed the user to display 48 movies or shows at a time with navigational links that allowed the user to access more content without refreshing the screen. At the end, we believe SaloneNetwork.com will become the mobile entertainment website for Africa for years to come. Check it out and post your comments here please. Here is the new version 2 of ViewMix TV (www.viewmix.tv) that we will be releasing soon. We have automated most of the Admin Console features, drag and drop channels into categories, set standard and premium channels, set standard and premium members, make money with banner and video commercials, automatic video news updates that can be set to play at any specified time interval, set default backgrounds for different pages, in addition to streaming external content Website owners can now stream local content that they upload to their server, and much more. Here are some of the new features for members:

1) Save favorite channels
2) Save shows and watch later from same spot (Virtual DRV)
3) Picture in Picture - watch one show and browse other channels
4) Improved group chat and private chat
5) Pop-out current channel for viewing
6) Embed current channel that you're watching or embed the whole player on other websites
7) Change video player color to any color you want
Change video player background and other page backgrounds
9) Share current show you're watching to your Facebook timeline, post to Twitter or share using email
10) Adjust your video quality based on your Internet speed (Low, Medium, High, HD720p, HD1080p)
11) Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down channel rating system with real-time statistics/analytic for each channel rating

Site load is Reasonable. But the first page that greeted me didn't cut it for me. I mean the Login or Registration page.

When I first get to a site, I want to know "Who are you?". And that should be answered quickly, and also make the paths to obvious follow-up questions ("What do you do?", "Why should I trust you?", etc.) clear.

Give that a try and you'll see the difference! By the way, I couldn't click the submit button on the registration page on my mobile using Opera Mini.

We will also incorporate your other suggestions as we update the website. Feedback such as yours helps us to improve our service and better serve members and visitors to the site. As for mobile devices, we will soon have apps for iPhone, iPad, Android and a stand-alone desktop version that can be installed on computers so that TV viewers can watch shows directly on their computer without having to go to www.ViewMix.tv

I totally understand, and that's the beauty of the Internet. It gives us all options to do as we please. As you can see on the image below, the information we ask for during registration are bare minimum.

soloqy: Okay for your explanation but I didnt try to register though. I dont register on sites anymore unless absolutely necessary and important.

PERSONAL NOTES:
This project has taken over a year because we set out to do something that has not been done before. We all know everyone can embed videos on their website and that is the norm. We set out to develop a technology that did not involve Web Masters to download, upload, embed or schedule videos to play in a simulated television like manner. We wanted this to be as streamlined as possible and as automated as possible using just public API's from the leading video websites out there. In the end, we added some extra features to spruce things up a bit. The next release will totally focus on user-customization features such as the ability to save your favorite TV channels, random backgrounds, and etc. All this was done with two man team.
