Walahi I'll not ignore this one.

I didn't pay for Boss Iyke's training because as at that time I couldn't afford it but I took my time to read this thread to the last page (1500 pages) as at 2021.

This is because in as much as he had paid mentorship, he didn't forget to drop enough info on this thread for some of us that didn't have money as at then.

I'll not watch you disrespect someone that has positively impacted my life.

My first ever sale was a .xyz name and it was for $500. Took 3 months to sell it. I used a strategy Boss Iyke doesn't know of or hasn't explored but would I call myself a Boss and place myself on the same level as Boss Iyke? Person wey show me way?

$100 sale for an investment less than $10 is a blessing. He shouldn't celebrate it? Do you know the adrenaline boost some people on sales drought get when they see a sale at all?

Do you expect him to share all his sales here?
Even if his students sell higher than he does, do you think they wouldn't acknowledge him as their boss still?

Just be like make I see you, pu nch you for nose.
Very annoying guy!

Hello all. Good evening. Please I have a question. When scraping what email addresses do we prioritize? The email addresses of the business owners or the email addresses of the businesses themselves? Or do they both hold equal value? I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me with an answer. Thank you.

Both.
Some business owners do not operate their business email themselves so the only chance they get to see your mail would be to mail them directly.

Though, the sale and backstory isn't so smooth but I'm happy to get my second sale in less than 2 months (also my second sale after restarting this game). I bought this name in June 2025, so that's like 10 months hold time. The name was priced $5k but I was doing a pricing experiment over the weekend so I changed some prices to $1988 and it sold. Here are the main details -

Name: Keyword+Ai (.com) | The Keyword . ai is still for sale but at a higher price.
Sale Price: $1988 (LTO)
Sale Venue: Afternic
Purchase Price: $5 on Z .com | ED Dropped
Hold Time: 10 months
Sale Type: Inbound

Wish everyone a big sale this week and month!!!

LTO sales are sweet. It becomes sweeter when the potential new owner defaults in the 7th month.

Congratulations Bossman 🥂

Chikispilot:
Congrats 👏
Why hiding the name? It doesn't make sense at all

It's a lease-to-own (LTO) sale Bossman.

He would not reveal the name till he gets his complete payment.

Elizkid:
Did nothing other than switching network

Alright thanks 🙏🏼

Elizkid:
Was able to resolve it.

I just switched to Airtel

I had the problem with Glo and MTN

Ahh wow. You cleared cache and all before you tried it again?

Elizkid:
That’s first site (SpaceShip) keeps saying VPN or proxy detected

Same thing when I tried it in the past.
Mailed their CS and they told me to switch network and clear cache. I did all of that and it was still the same.

What I think is that it's a bait to make you register on their platform. The bonus doesn't exist.

JapaToDNext:
good day sir

I am having issue registering on bodis website, it is requesting for an invite code

So if u have any, I will like u to help me with it so I can register, without an invite code I won't be able to register

You cannot register again. They're planning to close up in the coming months.

I'd say the inspiration was probably gpexchange - who, by the way, was also a major inspiration for hiking some prices towards the end of last year. I had my first sales higher than $1,888 after that hike.

One of gpexchange's sales reported here was Get///Calico (or something like that). I found out from my readings that companies sometimes turn to alternatives like that if they can't get the main keyword - Calico, in this case. Some companies who even have the main keyword may also want variations of it.

I also found out that "use" and "go" were among words that were sometimes used, apart from "get."

I'd have priced the domain much higher but for the low-value comparable sales in Afternic records and the fact that the .co was forwarded to a coffee business. Plus, the domain was registered the previous year and dropped.

Thank you for this Bossman.

One must know how to think very far from the box if the person wants to succeed in this business.

SOLD

Name: Use//Ember [COM]
Price: $399
Sale Venue: Spaceship
Type: Outbound/Inbound
Source: ED
HT: ~10 months

I had this priced for $599 on Afternic, where it was parked ($554 on Spaceship). Comparable sales via Afternic made me price it lower than I intended. Reached out last year to a coffee company that forwarded the .co version to their website but no response.

The buyer came with a $250 offer and back-and-forth counters brought it to the final price, making sure I split the fee with them. It occurred to me to check the number of taken TLDs AFTER the buyer accepted my final counter-offer. I was surprised to find it had gone from 2 to 6!

Later, two Afternic brokers reached out to me separately regarding enquiries because I had removed the BIN price there while the negotiation was ongoing on Spaceship. Found out offers were first made there about eight minutes before I got the Spaceship offer, but I was only informed about four and half hours later.

Name: oxy//gn [XYZ]
Price: $1,888
Sale Venue: Afternic
Type: Inbound
Source: ?
HT: ~4 years (4 renewals)

I can't remember whether I found this on ED or generated it.

I was so bullish about this domain that I priced it for $2,688 in the first year - the highest for any of the more than 400 XYZ domains I registered between 2021 and 2022.

By 2024, I reduced the price first to $1488 then $988. I increased it to $1,250 last year. It was after I decided to renew a dozen of the remaining XYZ domains till 2027 and release the rest than I increased the price to $1,888.

All thanks be to God! More sales for everyone of us.

Bossman what was the inspiration behind picking Use///Ember?

Oshiofe:

What is the source of the traffic?

Explain what you mean by this please.
If you're talking about spam score, it's clean. It wasn't used to spam in the past.

Greenscientist:
How do someone get to know the source of traffic?

Was about to ask this too.
Except he means how many back links does it have and all that.

@Iykepromotions Boss

What's your take on a name that gets 1m search volume monthly?
It's less than 10 L.
Would buying and parking make any sense?

flotwz:
Thanks, sometimes the information is not detailed. Often mistaken for new membership promo.

Do you know how to use Tldes//com?

gentlekeny:
It's showing me $11. How do I include the promo code since I haven't used atom to buy domains

Sorry I'm just seeing this.

There's a section to input promo code in your screenshot.
You'll visit TLDES//com then copy the promo code for the discount you want and then paste it there.

It isn't opening on my ends right now but when it does I'll take a screenshot and explain better.

Modified:

COMLAUNCH is the code.

flotwz:
Good evening my people. Abeg, which registrar still dey do promo till now?
Thanks in anticipation

You can always use Tldes//com to check.

The story

I reached out to a few end-users last year when I priced this for 999. No show. So, I hiked the price to 3k when I reviewed some listing prices upwards towards the end of last year.

I received a message from an Afternic broker about a 1.1k offer last month, stating this was an improvement from an earlier 750 offer. This was just a month and a day after the domain would have expired if I hadn't renewed it.

I asked the broker to try and push to about 1.5k. I probably would have accepted that 1.1k if not that I forgot it wasn't the first offer but the first that I was informed about. I always try to counter first offers ever since I got that tip 2-3 years ago - coupled with personal experiences.

After that, the lead disappeared from my dashboard. I thought the deal fell through. I had to use Grok day(s) later for a second opinion on whether I priced the domain too high and got a confirmation that it was fair pricing, so I planned to continue renewing it.

I was informed five days after the initial contact that the buyer agreed to do a maximum of 1.5k. Thanks be to God!

Good luck to everyone.

Congratulations 🎉
