Thanks for your great knowledge and understanding you showcased in this topic, which I'm sincerely impressed. moreso we are so related in same field as me being a physicist and software engineer. Everyone learn, and continuous learning is always good. Note that, Mechanical energy can lead to electrical energy even without fuel but with little external force that uses no fuel. Examples are https://www.tiktok.com/video/7384734905919425838/ https://www.tiktok.com/video/7372383060144393518/ Lots more of talents like these are here and there. Just type "free electricity" or "alternator" All with no fuel other than little external force that start (initiate it) and stop it. Newton first law of motion and or Law of Inertial. States that a body will continue to be at rest; or when on motion, will continue to be on motion; except it is acted upon by an external force. Which is simply applicable and contributing to the idea of generating electricity from mechanical aspect. This is simply one of the purpose of fuel to run a system (motion to generate energy). When the fuel finish, it definitely stops. Bro please get this Idea. Thank you thepoweruser: Okay, it's been nearly three years since I've logged in on Nairaland lol. But I must say, I cannot help but jump into this conversation.
You see, the mistake many of you fail to understand is that this invention of a fuelless generator is actually an ambiguous statement.
Now, what do I mean by this? Well, it depends on context. You see, a portable power station or solar inverter is indeed a "fuelless generator". This is because it uses stored electrical energy to produce electricity.
Now @Babangidapikin your analogy is incorrect because a car running on water isn't "fuelless". At least from my understanding derived from my background in engineering (albeit electrical), if you want to build a moving vehicle that runs on hydroelectric power, you would need a vehicle that is too large to be practical. So essentially you will have to use the water to generate electricity in some other way than its kinetic energy (i.e. turning a turbine). So, let's assume we have a "fuelless generator" that uses water. How do we generate power?
One way to do this is to use a fuel cell. An electrochemical reaction could be used to split the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen is what is used in the fuel cell to power the vehicle's electric motor, whole the oxygen can be stored for use for either the braking system or ventilation or released as exhaust. However, this requires splitting the water molecules first, which requires energy. How do you separate hydrogen and oxygen from water other than that? Well, you could use thermolysis (requires heat), metal reactants (will increase weight and thus reduce efficiency, plus sodium and potassium aren't exactly cheap lol) or photolysis (too freaking slow).
Note that I didn't say anything about turning a turbine wheel with your borehole water. You can definitely build an electric generator from such a setup but you need to pump the water too. Okay, in theory you could rig a setup where the generator also pumps it's water as it runs but it's gonna seriously reduce the effective power generated because you lose additional energy pumping the water, infact, you will have a system that will fail because it used the energy used to generate electricity to merely pump water. And it's a machine, so there's friction, heat etc. So, mission failed.
Or you can use a battery powered inverter to charge another battery inverter that is also charging the inverter to create a two-way system. But as anyone who has used a power bank knows, you will eventually run out of stored energy even if both batteries are charging themselves.
Those of you who understand engineering or thermodynamics can see where I'm heading with this. And some of you sharp-eyed readers can pick the meat of what I am trying to say: this individual is obviously talking about a free energy generator. Now that's completely impossible, because of two laws that all engineering students are intimately familiar with (science students too) : the first and second laws of thermodynamicsz which are actually very similar to the law of conservation of matter in a way.
The first law states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but can only be changed from one form to another. This simply means that you cannot pull energy out of nowhere; you must create it from something. Also it means that you can transfer energy from heat to do work, but the total energy of the system does not change
The second law states that the total total entropy of an isolated system can never decrease over time. This simply means that whenever work on a machine, no matter how well lubricated or no matter how few moving parts is performed (while it is running) some energy is always lost. In essence, no energy system is 100% efficient. These two laws make such free energy generators impossible. Oga, Why not simply ask of what you don't understand? It would have been better than you criticising. Now, Are you saying it is not possible to generate electricity without fuel? Are you encouraging or discouraging your fellow Nigerian to build such. And what is your own contribution towards this nor your community and to the country as a whole? Even if it's a scam, why not investigate, why not bring sense of good mission and vision from it. Younger ones are here and there with great talents but people like you don't make use of it. Instead you go against; without you initiating better idea or as a challenge to you yourself that you can do better or rather in support to learn along. Hhmm it is is well in the country and it is well with you. creolehunt: Clown 'inventor' and clown reporter.
It doesnt run on fuel, and no mention of what it actually runs on. No mention of the technology behind the "invention". Even we all know what Elon Musk's "fuelless' Tesla cars run on.
Your invention doesnt run on fuel and in these days of T-Pain no one still knows about it?
Dude is probably setting the ground for a grand scam. |

@davido, 1 careless nyt made u to bite ur finger in ur room. @sophia, a shameless n self centered lady at dis ur age interval. @delemomodu, seems kind of jealous of somfin n obviously immature, as as matured man u shld b a peace maker in d whole ( nt to talk of bn public) @babygirl, wishes u quick recovery. n its of Gods written. always note dat connection n power can't work in all, obviously power is mor stronger dan connection coz INFORMATION IS THE POWER!!! we shld all learn here. |
