The phone is N70k you initially paid N50k. Jumia doesn't do pay advance and the balance later, you pay 100%. If you are not satisfied with the product you return it and get a 100% refund.

It does take time to process a refund.

I'm new to this. I just used Google map to check for the nearest pick up station. When I saw a number there I called it and the rest was history

It was already 2 late. The guy that finished me was the guy I called on phone. From the beginning he spoke like a customers Rep.

How it Ended.

They guy said that if I don't sent another 20k to make it 90k for a phone of 70k that very day that I won't get any refund.

I don't pick my calls again.

Jumia should look for a way to remove this from Google Map before more persons fall victim

This is my first time of ordering anything on line because i wanted to try Xiaomi product for the first time. I didn't really do enough research I just used Google map and this is where it brought me.

I told them them that since they already have the whole money that they should send the money but they refuse. This is one I suspected scam.

I contacted Jumia on Twitter but they didn't help much. I asked them if they use the email that was communicating with me and they said No.

I sent 50k but they emailed back and said that the phone was 70k and that I should send the remaining 20k. I asked them to refund me but they shocked me that it will take 42 working days.

Iater sent 20k to them the next day but they said that I can't have the phone since the order was cancelled that I should send another 20k.

I sent the text and he called me back that I will receive and email with an account to pay into and that I will get the phone the next day. I received an e-mail from jumiaexpressnigeria@gmail.com with an account number

I tried to buy Redmi 9c from Jumia on 23 Feb but was scammed of #70,000.

I entered Google map and saw an address that is not far from a friends home, copied this number 08083059986 called a guy picked spoke like a Customers Rep. He told me to send a text with my full name, address, product colour and amount.
