Below is a message to the Students' Union
Government (SUG) Safe Impact Excos over
the delay over admission list......
The Students' Union Government is the apex
body of Students Unionism in any Tertiary
Institution saddled with the responsibility to
agitate on behalf of the Students and work
towards the non marginalisation of the
Students welfare.
The University of Benin right are currently
running her academic session without the
100level Students which is abnormal. Going
through the various Departmental and
Faculty time table, it can be seen that the
classes for 100level have also been
arranged. This means their time started
counting when that of the Staylites did.
The pre-Admission Screening exercise had
been done almost two months ago but four
weeks into the semester, nothing have been
heard as regards the Admission List. The
question now is...
*When is the admission list going to be
released?*
*How are they going to run their classes?*
*Are they going to write their semester exam
alongside Staylites?*
*How are they going to do their clearance
considering the Short space of time?*
I humbly plead with our amiable SUG
President, Hon Lauretta Obakpolor and her
Safe Impact Team to intervene into this
Admission List unending 'Saga' because I
believe every Aspirants of these great
institution deserve equal representation from
the Students' Union Government. My
Honourable President ma, please I urge you
and your Team to call for a meeting with the
school management and let them understand
what the Aspirants are going through
because of the unending wait for the
admission list.
Please the school management need to say
something as regards the admission list to
quench this anxious wait for the admission
list. The Aspirants are in a state of total
dilemma. This Aspirants need to know their
fate as soon as possible to know where they
stand.

[color=#000099][/color]Series of questions has been coming in lately
from a lot of Pre-admission screening about
when the list is going to be released. While
others are saying that the list is out and that
only few persons were given admission. If
that was true, the few persons they gave
admission will not hide the joy but to share
it with others with confirming proof. All you
need to know that it is not yet out. From
what we have gathered from different
sources, the list has been sent to jamb. it is
for jamb to actually publish the list on their
portal so that candidates can check through
the jamb admission status page.
Another source also reveals that they waiting
for the list to be compiled and published.
There might be no fixed date for the list to
be released. But the deadline Jamb gave to
schools to actually complete their admission
exercise is November 30th, 2016. All of you
should bear in mind that before the date
November 30th, 2016 the list should be out
since it is a direct instruction from Jamb to
all institution.
So therefore candidates are advised to
waiting patiently . Soon the list will be out
as it can be released anytime. But be rest
assured that once its out, it will be posted
on this platform.
