Be careful....

Stainless steel is the most attractive of all the materials that can be used for constructing your Gates. It is fine and it's heavy too just like Wrought iron.

It complement building interior due to its shinning body and it can be cleaned with just water anytime to make shiness when it is dull.

However, Stainless steel's disadvantages are:

It react with acids, it rust when good grade is not been used. 316 grade is the best and most expensive and best in quality. But 304 will stand a lesser test of time - it's of medium quality. While 216/206 offers the least quality among all Stainless steel grades and is the least expensive.

How do you differentiate them when a technician maybe charges you that he intends to use 316 grade but uses 304 grade?

Hmmm.....that's food for thought.

Advantages of Wrought Iron for Gate designs

We can also slow down this rusting by making use of thicker pipes during construction. Then...on your part, you can re-paint the Gates periodically.

Apart from all of these, Wrought Iron Gates are great and extremely beautiful when set up and installed neatly.
