Maduka university Enugu: Asset management company partners with the school.

During the week, Tosin Osunkoya and Kenneth Brai, CEO and Vice President of Comercio Partners Asset Management Ltd., visited Sam Maduka Onyishi at his New Jerusalem office at Maduka University.

Speaking during the visit, Osunkoya stated that the courtesy call aimed to recognise and appreciate Dr. Maduka for his accomplishments at Maduka University in a relatively short period of time.

Osunkoya expressed particular admiration for the structures assembled by the management team under Dr. Maduka's leadership.

He described Dr. Maduka, the founder of the university, who also serves as the university's Chancellor, as a visionary and courageous man, predicting that Maduka University would undoubtedly rank among Africa's top universities.

Osunkoya expressed the willingness of Comercio Partners Asset Management to collaborate with Maduka University Management in making sure that all the students of Maduka University turn out financially literate and subsequently become entrepreneurs and investors.

Kenneth Brai, on his part, added that their team visited Dr. Maduka to glean insights from his wealth of experience and understand how he consistently excels in various business ventures.

He noted Dr. Maduka's success in the transportation sector, particularly with Peace Mass Transit, which he acclaimed as arguably the nation's foremost transportation company.

Brai encouraged Dr. Maduka to maintain his pioneering spirit and continue breaking new ground.

He wondered how Dr. Sam is able to manoeuvre playing big in the road transport sector, financial services sector, pharmaceuticals, maritime, and now a one-stop educational institution. This is just too much grace.

In response, Maduka expressed gratitude to the duo for their visit and words of encouragement.

He reiterated that Maduka University's mission is to produce self-reliant Nigerians who will lead their generation.

Media personality and good governance advocate, Emmanuel Okwuluora, has described Dr. Sam Maduka Onyishi, founder of Maduka University, as a man with a Midas touch.

According to Okwuluora, the founder's vision and passion will make Maduka University one of the best in West Africa in the coming years.

He made this comment while reflecting on his recent encounter with the business mogul in Enugu.

According to Okwuluora, what was supposed to be a brief chat ended up with Maduka lecturing him for hours, despite other pressing matters waiting for his attention.

"A few days ago, billionaire Maduka Onyishi unexpectedly invited me," he recalled. Upon reaching his construction site, I encountered a man more humble than I am, more intelligent than I have ever been, and ready to go back to school! His story was so unbelievable that I encouraged him to maybe appear on National TV or TED Talks so that other young people would draw inspiration.

He predicted on his social media pages that Maduka University would rank among the best in West Africa in the coming years.

“We sat at the Maduka University construction site for 2 hours! Dr. Maduka Onyishi requested that every appointment wait until we had finished our conversation! I was lectured under.”

In less than 30 minutes, the post generated thousands of reactions and comments, with many attesting to Okwuluora’s submission about Maduka.

For Blessed Chikson, Maduka's journey to the top is due to what he described as a “positive attitude.”

He wrote, “Good works with a positive attitude pave the way for great success. Never give up on helping the less privileged, because the rewards are endless. More grease to your grace.”

On his part, John Nnanna Chris said Maduka, who doubles as CEO of Peace Mass Transit, Nigeria’s largest transportation company, has foresight.

“Peace Mass is a big entrepreneur; Maduka University is as big as a federal university. Nobody will believe it's a private university. The CEO of Peace Mass has foresight,” he wrote.
