Good day my people, please I had my first Schengen visa in 2009, which is the Netherlands, but since then I haven’t applied for another, now I want to apply for one, is it advisable to apply to the same Netherlands because I have been there before or apply to France , please advice, also please how much is advisable to have in my account, is 15m okay for a 7 days trip or I need more? Is a micro finance bank statement accepted? One last question please, my husband and I own a hotel as our names are in the CAC as owners, must I submit the company account?, because I plan to submit only my company account, thank you so much as I anticipate your answers
You can apply for any one of your choices. But your travel history is not efficient anymore. Since 2009 now applying now? Too long, The VO will decide your application as a first timer. Put it in mind that you are a first timer. It is longtime you have travel out. So, prepare your document for your visa application as a first timer.

** Increase your balance of bank statement to over #30M

*** Include the CAC since it is on your name

**** Make sure you include series of strong ties in your application.

If you want me to assist you further let me know

Good luck 🤞

It is not VFS, search on google TLS Lagos France appointment

But you need to have fill your visa application at the France embassy portal

Please do not do mistake and avoid distractions. If there is a mistake on your application you will be sent back at the submission centre to book a new appointment

@hunee @Africankel

Please I need your help gurus.

Last year, I applied for France visa (Schengen) Short Stay (90 days) visa for a birthday function I was invited to but I was given a 1-month visa in return. I plan to apply again this year as I plan to spend some weeks in France by January next year. Do I qualify to apply for 90 days or more (Long stay) or do you advise I stick to Short stay again?
What are my chances cuz I really wish to apply for a longer stay with multiple entries.
Please advise. Thanks in anticipation.
Do not ask for long stay. Stay on short stay. For your visa to be issued last time does not automatically means your visa will be issued again. You need to convince the VO.

Your last trips- you made mention you are invited for a birthday party do you have proof like series of photos showing you at the party ? If you have include them with your next application it will help you a lot

Good luck 🤞

I think in your cover letter, you should acknowledge your previous issuance and explain the reason why you did not use at the time, so that you can present a case as to why you'll use it this time and assure them that you'll travel.
Sorry for your situation,
**+Please be aware that it is like a crime if you are issued a visa and you don’t use it embassies hate it, you are even worst than first timer.
*** You should have seek for an assistant since, the duration you are granted visas in 2023 and the time you applied for the 4 different ones matters a lot. You should have applied after you the unused visa expired or when you are refused 1st time to try other Schengen countries

Contact me for help / assistance if you are still interested but don’t be too long

All the best 🤞

I just collected my visa this afternoon..
The embassy is responding too long now. I am a frequent traveler applied on 2nd September 2025. I got response from TLS on 2nd October. I pick up my passport on 3rd of October 2025.

My advise for new applicants-: Apply very early, on time to your travel date. Apply 6 - 8 weeks to your travel date .

New applicants wait for response between 4 - 6 weeks

Good luck 🤞

The reason they were having delay at Lagos is because of load of applicant's applying at the moment for December Trip,my appointment was October 7th,the population I saw is going to 500applicants for a day, imagine how busy it will be at consulate embassy of France
This are not loads of applicants. If you are there last June / July you will not say that. I guess most of their VO are on annual vacation.

4 slots only on available but for very serious 🧐 minded people please no kidding around and no time waster

Note and conditions-: I will need a first timer who never denied before at any Schengen countries or a frequent traveller which his or her visa expired within 48 months.

I am in the same boat. Not sure what is going on. Has anyone called the consulate before to follow up ? What options do we have ?
. I am a frequent traveller got my visa last week after 1 month . You wait for 1 month. I don’t know what is going on there maybe most of VO are on vacation or too many applications 😁

See ehn, I was confident I was going to get the visa. I had less than this balance when I got a Uk visa.. don’t know why France is moving mad
I pray you get yours.
Do not appeal, improve on your family ties and bank statements. Always think about the present economic conditions

Cheers !
