The contiued industrial action embark on by Management and Staff of Federal Medical Center Owerri despite pleading with them by Imo people especially the ordinary masses who can not afford to foot the exorbitant bills from private hospitals or to fly abroad for medical treatment has been described as deliberate attempt by the institution authorities, workers and Federal Government to eliminate the less priviledge people in the state, hence they(FMC Owerri) has swore not to render their primary service of providing health care after collecting their salaries and allowances up till date and Federal Government continue keeping silent over the matter for the past 3 months now.
Majority of patience that left the hospital since the commencement of the strike 3 months ago many people have lost their lives due to unaffordability of private hospitals bill. If I will be told that this kind of criminal attitude of collecting salaries and allowances without rendering the corresponding services which constitute corruption and impunity to the highest level will be
happening in this President Buhari's administration, I will not aggree to it. President should not allow his administration to mess up by power tussels self centered individuals by waden into this matter to save more lives from going to the world beyond.

The high rate of death in Imo State now has increase tremendousely as a result of industrial action embark on by Federal Medical Center, Owerri, Imo State for the past 3 months now. Private hospitals in the state have taken the advantage of this ugly situation to milk the people of Imo State dry from their exorbitant bills; those who can not afford their bills resulted in self medication, patronising traditional medicine dealers that have little or no training on what they are doing that resulting the death of many of Imo people everyday. President Buhari should wade into this matter as soon as possible as continue keeping silent on this issue is not doing the people of Imo State any good. enough is enough.
