Arnold1:pure beauty.I dream of visitin naija one day. I saw some uploads of roads, n they are mwaaaaaaah.Me proud of Naigeria. |
volina:well said, at least u r one of those who have diverted this thread. The ultimate purpose of th eperson who created it is on page one.being pessimistic is a disease that most of us can never be healed. ur not alone bro.is the glass half full or half empty , u have not answered ma question on crime rate.or is it another oversight! |
naliakar:, is it in this schul that people are taught that every coin has its two side?, am thinking u must be one of the graduates, what the crime rate in Nairobi, lagos and New york? |
@naliaka chinook:naliakar, i love ur approach, unfortunately its human nature to point @others, n is it not the problem we r havin in Africa.WWWOISH, Nairobi will make u piss on yaself, or better , whatever |
C2H5OH:me love naigerians, very natural.nyce photo dude! |
nyce photos, bt OMG where do some of u get tese funny lookin potos.refer 2 page 31, the guy riding in the boot n his legz hanging! |
@landowner, u made me proud. I was about to conclude that naigerians(some) just love criticism(negative) and complains.kenyans would be very happy with such a project. n believe u me,abuja needs the 10 lane superhighways. or r u waiting for the city to be crowded like lagos and once again u complain of poor plannin.some of us need to style up.@landowner ![]() |
i love to post photos that i shoot. I shot this from my office. ACK parking (behing Bishop's tower

@mwana, ua now being dragged to those useless discussions, a few kenyans work for deepwest n for that akini n tony have done goood.as per drugs if our authorities allow to be bribed why blame tony! @naliakar, i doubt if ur from enugu, r u sure ur nt .5 kenyanaija? he!he!, our women r gooooood. Financially independent.N for that not many west African men can witstand them. We lack that primitive respect for men. |
@naliakar, kwani ulionyeshwa dust hapa, pole. Chinedu is not as foolish as akinyi. N akinyi will loose the divorce case terribly. u know akinyi anasema chinedu is a wife beater n that why she want divorce, bt chinedu is playin the beaten man.so how will akinyi proof that when the whole world watched akinyi beat him in public. I got alot of admiration for tony. |

naliakar:aaah it seems that even our national language is doing great. I bet not many kenyans can speak any native language in Naija. Ur r absolutely right. Kenya ni inchi ndogo, uchumi mdogo, na miji zetu pia ni ndogo. I will be happy when naigeria will wake and realize her potentials. Personally i love naija, For us we hope that in our tinyness we will be able 2 make our lives n those of fellow kenyans better. The gap between poor n rich here is very big. n so I do not despute that the buildings we see are owned by a few pple. But 60% of our skyscrappers r owned by the govt( u can prove me wrong if u want) n there 4 they belong to the common mwananchi- the tax payers. NB I wonder why there is alot of cheap politics from some naijas! Who said Kenya is competin wid Naigeria. Naigeria is huge we can never get near. If if we do, ua govt need a whippin |
@mwanamiwa, thanks tuta kujoin.@ others.twajivunia kuwa wakenya. |
certainly there is alot of corruption but less than it was 10 yrs ago. In 2007 i got a good job with the Govt. Actually 300 of us were employed at the same tyme. 80% of us never new anyone in the govt. We dnt bribe, However we dont have to proof our innocence to anyone. Let the worlr(read Africa) think of whatever they want. Bt i know soon they will get a rude shock of their life. Am talkin from an informed point of view. |
naliakar:now u got that one right, our airport is very small, just like the size of our country and our budget.Thats why we feel that Nairobi is such a big city when compared with mighty countries and nig economies such as naigeria |
trason:To an extent i agree with you. Kenya for so long has had bad roads. Bt again it depends on when you were in Kenya. For the last 10 yrs Kenya has concentrated on improving our rural roads since majority of them are gravel and earth roads. Currently we hav eso many bituminization projects going on. Since our country depends on Agriculture and tourism alot of money is going to the opening up of rural areas. You will be amazed that most of our class E and D(Which are mainly rural roads are being tarmacked. For some time our highways have been undergoing periodic and routine maintenance, (as we divert money to rural) but now major road constructions are underway. For instance Thika Road is being expanded to 8 lanes and 2 serface lanes for bikers . once the road is constructed it will be on its kind in central and east Africa. Finaly Kenyan budget is too small, our economy is nothin compared to Naigeria. N if u put that into consideration, then u will b able to appretiate our roads. |
, all african cities have an ugly side.I dnt see anything wrong with this pics.similary the best places look gorgeous, @kenyan star u beta cud b in kenya during 2007 elections, the situation wasnt different. Most of us were buying airtime through MPESA or our mobile banking. |
@ omonaija, ha! u make naigerians look like pple of little sense.Thank God ur not their spokes person, Why dont u show us those beautiful places in naija ur talking about.(iccidentaly they r also selected areas), Fortunately most of us will appretiate. We r Africans n we got to be proud of our cities.Who said we r competing with naija, @mwanamiwa, w3enye wivu wajinyonge!ama wameze vijembe wakipenda. |

Re: Nairobi Photos (kenya): A Beautiful East African City « #797 on: Today at 06:27:24 AM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi anyone, all da photos content at this forum it seem taken from skycityscraper.com is it correct? , Nay, we r the same people , we post the photos in both forums |
its good to see that this thread is still going on.av been away for so long, got to get some rel good photos.@masaai n mwanamiwa, hamjambo? |
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-118277.32.html this is what i got when i searched for victorian islands |
@africanese.Sema ma dear.when did u have a sex change.Ama ur not the one being refered as manzi?I told that hutaweza kupatana na wao.But i missed the whole drama, am going to post some photos of ongoing road projects.I think we r moving somewhere, ooooooohhh! |
@iffygurl, we come from different regions and our understanding of english may differ.Am not sure i called u slow, i used the word IF, to me this two letters make the difference.Whatever u though , am not sure.I agree with u that every city has the bad the good the ugly and the cute. I would not assume that the whole of naija is a total mess just like the way i can assume the whole of Nairobi is prety. We got slums, our roads compared to naigeria r just but foot paths. But one thing i know all those photos r real.I also want to believe u dint visit every part of nairobi. At the same tyme we r not competing my dear,We only wanna show the good side of our cities. This coz the outside media has always concentrated on the negative. Now baby gal be good let us see those photos of victorian island and those prety places in naigeria.Am sure they will do us justice! |
Ifygurl:What do u mean when u say the photos mislead u, u neeed get to see all this places.Life in Kenya is so fast n if ur abit slow(am not implying u r) u may think guyz r rude.Every time is business tyme. But on friday nites all the way to sunday nairobi comes alive. This is the best tyme to tell if Kenyans r social.Ope u also visited maasai mara and Mombasa. |
naona kazi inaendelea.@africanise, its long since i visited this site.i need to look for another camera! |
judyjoc:Sorry it has taken me abit long to post this.It is a sony DSC S650 7.5 mega pixel.its quite powerful that i have 2 reduce them by more than half b4 postin. |
