Four panels you said you installed on a 5kva with 8 batteries . I assume your inverter is a 96v dc input system and your batteries should be 200ah each , so your total bank of battery is 1600ah, we do not need any rocket science to know that your 4 solar panels were under sized for the number of batteries that you have. By the way how many watts are your PVC each? I am estimating it at 230w or a little more, conclusively you need to build up your PV module in moderation to your battery bank. PV modules are not emblems to be kept on the roof , they are designed as ray collectors and the more the better. Cheers. Whatsapp only: 08033093867 |

NCP reloaded in Ondo State. Ranti Fawehinmi has emerged the senatorial candidate of National Conscience Party for Ondo Central. In a primary election conducted on the 24th of November 2014 in Akure, he pulled the majority vote of the delegates present. Speaking at the event, NCP national chairman, Dr Tanko Yunusa extolled the virtues of Chief Gani Fawehinmi , the founder of the party. He went further to correct an erroneous belief thay NCP had never won an election in Nigeria, he referred to a seat won by NCP in a state house of Assembly but the candidate later decamped to the ruling party at that time. While handing out the flags to Ranti Fawehinmi and Gbenga Adejuwon NCP candidate for Akure South house of Assembly, he challenged them not to drop the party after their victory as he expressed confidence in Ondo people voting NCP candidates in the memory of the great human rights lawyer , chief Gani Fawehinmi . |

Cash Crunch in the Nigerian economy: an impending danger. A "cash crunch" occurs when a company is running low enough on cash so that it starts to have an impact on their operations. " The minster of information came out in June to announce that Nigeria is not broke. His counterpart in the ministry of finance who incidentally is the coordinating minister of the economy came out to corroborate what had earlier been said that Nigeria is not broke but expericing a cash flow hiccups . She went further to say that in the eye of the international community, we have a sound economy. But those defenses seem to me like window dressing a ugly and pathetic situation to give it a cosmetic appearance of " all well and good". As Nigerians we deserved to know the true state of the economy, we deserved to know our revenue in totality and in bits, we should know the sources of our revenue, we should know items of expenditure, any left over should be turned in as unspent or are we the type that eats for today, no left over? Okay, no problem but at least no debt, or have I left out something ? Yea, Nigeria is indebted , WoW! the giant of Africa . How did it happen? Bad leadership, weak institutions, poor utilization of resources , ethnicity and religious dichotomy and lack of sincerity. Coming to the referenced subject matter , a cash run on any organization is an early sign of a failing business, except there are pending receivables large enough to pay off accruing credits and accumulated expenses, an organnisation that accumulates credit up to 90 days is a weak one. Options are available to such institutions to put in a recovery process, a process to redefine objectives and goals, a process of reengineering of men and structure. The case of my country. Is not different from the analogy given of the organision described here before now. A critical look at the economy shows that our government functionaries speak to protect their jobs, their position is a far cry from reality. What are the realities on ground that portrait the true state of things 1. The Federal government cannot meet ASSU's demand of 97 billion Naira 2. Federal government workers salary was delayed in September . Some are already envisaging similar scenario playing out in october. 3. State governments are not receiving their entire monthly allocation from FAC for the past three months. 4. In turn state governments are delaying In the payment of state workers salaries. 5. Contractors are not receiving payment for job executed .. The economy and especially a free economy at that is made up of three components, individuals ( households), the organizations and the government. It is the interplay of these players that account for economic development and social progress. Each of the component must be up and doing for any meaningful result to be seen. However, among the trio, the government is the big spender, the government stimulates economic activities that will engage other components.. So in the last threee months, the quadrant of fund injection is shrinking . Possible factors why Nigeria is not buoyant at the moment 1. Could it be that national output is dropping? 2. Could it be that crude oil production is dropping? 3. Is it likely that crude oil price is sliding downward 4. Is it likely that we are owed for our exports and so we have pending receivables 5. Or is there a gap between what was paid for our exports and what was disclosed as revenue collected. How to survive this impending danger as individuals 1. Conscious and deliberate effort to engage in productive activities. 2. Engaging in exportable items. There has to be capital flight back to Nigeria 3. Stay on your jobs no matter how small except your employment is threatened. 4. While on the job, think of another source of income How to survive this trend as government 1. The individual state government should drive their IGR, not just by way of taxes and obnoxious rates. 2. Federal and State governments must wake up their moribund industries for job creation 3. The dependence on oil must be reduce with our export quotient diluted. 4. Public expenditures must henceforth wear a low profile. Comrade Ranti Fawehinmi is an Economist. |
A depositor went into a new generation bank to make cash lodgement and also to cash a cheque . He sat in between four other customers to write his details at the back of the cheque, after doing that he got up to pick a teller and also to drop his cheque with the paying cashier, but he left his bag behind, and in the bag was the cash he came to deposit. According to this customer, he took him few seconds to return to his seat. He came back and pick his bag to approach the receiving cashier only to discover the cash was no longer in there. He raised an alarm but two out of the four customers he sat with earlier had gone out of the bank. He reported the case to the head of operation and demanded that their CCTV to be replayed but the bank maintained that the CCTV 's recording is for their internal use. What do you guys think? |
