Pierced:PDP can't get 25% in any SE state, do you want to bet with me? |
RoxyBrownAutos:I just hope the abysmally low IQ shown by some nairalanders is not how many Nigerians reason. Virtually all the polls conducted both online and in the streets have shown that Peter Obi will win all SE and SS states by wide margins. Most politicians contesting under PDP and APC in the two regions always use Peter Obi's picture to campaign. Sim Fubara and Tonye Cole in Rivers, Ogar in Cross River etc. Now, instead of engaging in senseless arguments, are you ready to bet with me? If you're not fooling around, let's bet right away since election is just days away. If Peter Obi doesn't win all 5 SE states, I lose. 200k! Peter Obi will win all SS states too. I can also bet you with 200k! Are you bold enough to put your money where your mouth is? |
buhariguy:Lol, no wonder they're called urchins. Dumbos will create senseless post only for urchins to believe it. Yes, Tifnubu will 22 states in his dream. Apart from 3 or 4 SW states, Kwara, Kogi, Borno & Yobe, the braindead old man can't possibly win any other state in Nigeria. Make una continue deceiving yourselves Sha. |
cocolacec:This is the most foolish and senseless post I have ever seen in nairaland about the election. So, a corrupt and braindead Tinubu running on a muslim-muslim ticket with a Boko Haram sponsor will win Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River? 3 states that are 100% Christians? Can any politician (even if such person is a saint) running a Christian-Christian ticket win states like Kano, Katsina and Sokoto? If a Christian can't win Muslim states why then do you believe that a Muslim will win Christian states? Because you think that Christians are fools or slaves abi? The dumb fools also said that Atiku will Edo, Bayelsa, Delta and Akwa Ibom? Lol, I think it's best to allow these urchins to dwell in their delusions of grandeur. It's only a matter of days left. Great lessons will be learnt! |
Peter Obi is Nigeria's next president. You can take that to the bank. |
I was impressed with your fast delivery. We will always use your services. 5 stars! |
Moh247:It's either you're a SW Muslim or one of his cronies op talked about. But unfortunately for you, you guys are less than 2% ![]() |
Pure facts!!! Tinubu will lose Lagos & two other SW states. The only other states he might win are Kwara, Kogi, Borno Yobe. So, how can winning 6 states make him president? Anyways I want him to contest so that Nigerians will take their pound of flesh by disgracing him. Someone must be made to pay for the attrocities caused by APC and it should be Tinubu. |
Rubbish! Once a news begins with a source said or an insider reported, just know it's propaganda. This is Tinubu fighting dirty with fake news ![]() |
David160:Wow, Yorubas even rate Obi ahead of Tinubu yet their osus on nairaland keep pushing a wrong narrative. They will soon realize there is no poling unit on nairaland ![]() |
Moh247:When will you grow up and start asking questions like a reasonable adult or are you a kid? Obi went to UNN today because his rally is in Enugu. When he went for rally in Calabar, he went to UniCal. When he went to Uyo and addressed UniUyo undergraduates as well. Shouldn't common sense tell you that when Peter Obi goes to Kaduna, he will also have a town hall meeting with students of tertiary institutions in the catchment areas. Tinubu supporters are absolutely senseless. |
If after all these, anyone still campaign or hope to vote for Tinubu, then know you're a big problem to Nigeria and may nemesis catch up with you! |
Tinubu is a sick old man that should be receiving care not hustling to rule a sick nation! |
The sort of modern day slavery and subjugation of Southern Kaduna people is really appalling. How can such oppression be happening in 2022 ![]() ? |
Okoroawusa:Everyone knows you're selfishly trying to secure the bag, even if it means supporting Lucifer. Anyways, thank God that Nigerians have unanimously rejected BAT, the old criminal. |
Even almost all the G5 governors know that majority of their people passionately want Obi. I mean Wike, Ikpeazu, Ortom and Ugwuanyi. Going against their wishes will only make them unpopular and they will lose relevance. Also, past presidents like Obasanjo and Jonathan are solidly backing Obi. These are men Wike respect so much and won't want to disobey. So, the G5 will definitely back Obi or stay neutral. Staying neutral is also as good as supporting Obi. |
seunmsg:Lol, last time I checked, the governor of Lagos State is Sanwo Olu, not Tinubu. Tinubu actually left as governor in 2007, that's a whopping 15 years ago! I think it's grossly unfair to treat his predecessors as non-existent. Fashola, Ambode and now Sanwo Olu probably did more to develop Lagos than Tinubu. If you want to fair, you should only judge with the situation in Lagos between 1999 and 2007. During that period, we had a class of governors that were generally regarded as high achievers and Tinubu wasn't among them. That class included Donald Duke, Chimaroke Nnamani, etc. Secondly, for as long as Nigeria remains one nation with unitary policies, Lagos will continue to attract large number of Nigerians from all regions including other states of SW. It has nothing to do with Tinubu or any governor at all. Thirdly, let's even assume that Tinubu was the best between 1999 and 2007, everyone with brain knows that Tinubu of today is mentally and physically sick. Such a person will find it difficult to achieve anything significant. |
famouscargo4u:Thanks for your straight-to-the-point response. So, let's verify your assertions logically and factually. 1. You said Fulani herdsmen can't happen under his watch? Tinubu has never condemned the activities of killer herdsmen. Even when Pa Fasonrati's daughter was gruesomely murdered by Fulani herdsmen, Tinubu tried to make a joke out of it. He asked "where are the cows?" "Is Evans a herdsman?" Again, his vice is a known grand patron of Boko Haram, another terrorist group. This doesn't indicate someone interested in ending Fulani herdsmen killing. 2. No president has the power to give Lagos or any city special status in Nigeria. It must go through the Senate. 3. What are his plans or manifesto? How will he achieve it? You can't really use Lagos as yardstick because same way Tinubu increased Lagos revenue, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu have all achieved same if not more. It's an indication that it doesn't require a genius to increase the revenue of a state like Lagos. 4. That means Tinubu's friends, Yoruba APC members and cronies are the beneficiaries here, not Yoruba masses. Besides, every state is constitutionally allowed to produce ministers, advisers etc. 5. You mean Tinubu will select Yoruba farmers alone and give them fertilizer? Or give Yoruba SME's loan without distributing them across the 36 states? Do you think the Senate with majority Northerners will allow that? |
isan:If you don't have anything reasonable to say like a normal human being, just get away from this thread now! |
Firstly, I once asked similar rhetorical question on "what will Igbos gain by voting for Obi" and most of the Igbo responders stated they were only interested in a better Nigeria for all and not necessarily about what they could gain from Obi. Others were even more audacious by saying that Obi will even do more for Northerners than he will ever do for Igbos, based on his manifesto. What I could deduct from their views was that they weren't basically voting for Obi based on sentiments but because they feel he is the best candidate and can change Nigeria positively. So, I want Tinubu supporters to give their reasons for supporting Tinubu. Especially, those that want to railroad all Yorubas to vote for Tinubu simply because he is a Yoruba man and nothing else. How will Tinubu change the fortunes of Yorubas? Is their anything they stand to gain collectively by virtue of Tinubu being president of Nigeria? Although, the question goes to Yorubas, but other Nigerians can also chip in their opinion since whoever ends up as our president could affect our lives either positively or negatively. |
harunabashir199:Nonsense, he can do his campaign in Owerri but we Imolites are not interested. We can't support a global thief. Even Ihedioha that almost destroyed his political career over the rogue is full of regrets now. Atiku will still return to Dubai after losing again only to return in 2027 to contest again. Imo State is over 90% Obi-dient and that's a fact!!! |
gartamanta:First time I'm seeing a billionaire native medicine man ![]() |
AbujaCitiBlog:Honestly, this is insane!!! Imagine the grand reception the fool even gave to Atiku when he is not a member of his party. I thought Soludo said APGA has a presidential candidate, so why has he written him off? Why all these attacks on Peter Obi? I really find all these disgusting. Anambra people must call this guy to order for their own good. As for Soludo, we know he is doing all these in a desperate attempt to stop Peter Obi from becoming president so he can have a chance, but he has failed. |
UnusualEmissary:Continue forming woke while they seize your inheritance. Can you go to a Muslim school without strictly abiding to their rules? If as a Muslim, you're offended about Christianity and their ways, then why attend their schools? I really pity you guys that keep retreating while fanatical Islam keeps advancing with full force. |
Yoruba Christians must be vigilant and take lessons from what is happening in the North. Something needs to be done now about this muric guy because he is sowing dangerous seeds in the SW and when it matures, it will be disastrous. If things continue at this perilous pace, in the years to come, Christians in SW will be at the mercy of Islam. If you like vote for Tinubu and his Boko Haram vice because of bigotry but it will only be a matter of time before hell will be let loose. Don't say you were not warned!!! |
ictplotter:Is Atiku not a product of Obasanjo politically, based on your logic? Are they still together today? Obi was already a former two term governor, worked with Goodluck Jonathan and has been a top captain of industry before he joined Atiku. It was Obi that even made Atiku relevant and through Obi, he enjoyed massive support from SE and SS even when he was losing his own state and region back-to-back. Now Obi left Atiku, can't you see he no longer has any base again? |
Gozac:You Atiku supporters always argue with emotions instead of rational thinking. Atiku will have easily gotten more than 25% in Rivers, Abia, Benue, Oyo, and Enugu if the G5 are supporting him fully. Considering that these states have always been PDP strong holds, the governors would have exploited that to boost Atiku's chances. Without active state governors support to PDP, LP will win landslide in these states except Oyo where tribal sentiments will come to play. Wike would at least have split Rivers votes for PDP and LP if he is supporting Atiku but now he is against Atiku, LP takes all or at least 75%. |
ictplotter:Wike and the G5 governors are very smart in what they're doing. There is no way the NW and NE can give Atiku over 60% block votes considering how exposed those regions are to APC. Let's even assume that Atiku wins the entire NW and NE, without the g5 support, how will Atiku be able to get 25% in at least 5 Southern states? Wike and the G5 are actually helping Southern presidential candidates including Peter Obi and Tinubu if you don't know. |
ictplotter:You don't know anything about politics. The g5 are smart by not declaring their stand officially. That action alone has destabilized PDP more than it would have should they declare their stand. God can't support a criminal like Atiku to be president of Nigeria. |
WonderManly:Minority or not, without the g5 governors, Atiku is just wasting his time! |
I agree with him. Atiku does not really have any base again. The fact his party supporters are being attacked in NE and NW shows he isn't massively popular. Believe me, you can't attack supporters of any popular political party in an area they enjoy massive support. It's like saying Obi-dients being attacked in Edo, Anambra or any state in SE/SS or Tinubu supporters being attacked in Lagos. It's just not possible. So if Atiku supporters are not in control of NW and NE then he has lost already. PDP has become as unpopular as APC in SE/SS, so where else can Atiku get his votes? |
