As part of its commitment to community service and environmental sustainability, the Rotary Club of Ogba yesterday carried out a clean-up exercise tagged “Clean Environment, Healthy Community.” The initiative brought together Rotarians and community members in a collective effort to promote cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and environmental consciousness within the Ogba community.
The exercise focused on cleaning designated public spaces and raising awareness on the connection between a clean environment and healthier living. Speaking during the exercise, the President, Rtn Franklin Nakpodia emphasized that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility and key to preventing disease, improving public health, and enhancing community wellbeing.
The project reflects Rotary’s continued dedication to impactful service and community development, while encouraging residents to adopt sustainable habits that will keep the environment clean and healthy for all.
