Are there alluminum companies in dubai?
If there are, can we classify them (working as a helper in d alluminium coy) as labourers. coz have heard a lot of people complaining about labourers job on dis platform dat it isn't worth it.
Anyone in this field could shed more light on dis issue.
I have som1 talking to me about working for an alluminium coy as an helper, says d pay is about 1,500dh monthly (accomodation nd transportation covered) house wots your take on it, thanks

It's very possible especially if you have a qualification that is in high demand. Like if you are a labourer being paid 1200 and earn a qualification like IATA based qualifications. The new companies minimum wage could be 4000. So they surely will employ you. The main thing is getting out of your old contract without ban

Within that two years is when some are just completing their visa payment. 75% is over exaggerated and impossible within that short period of time even if you are a guru in your field.

Thanks guy for the response, what am trying to get at is this, after doing a menial job for about 2/3 years, how long is one expected to get an increment in pay?

Or is it only when you switch to a new job that u can earn as high as 5000dh probably with ur degree or professional couses attain. Since the job you took in the first place was just to get the all important GULF EXPERIENCE

Secondly, if someone is to go thru d DIY process now with d current dollar flunctuation, for instance,
You apply for 3 months tourist visa + security fee,
Flight ticket (through emirate airway),
RTA of at least $1000 + authentication nd immigration sorting. Can som1 please give me the break down in amount you are likely to spend for d whole process now coz I plan travelling to UAE by July ending.

Thirdly, the issue of this refundable security fee, is it a must that you will pay it nd when is som1 goin to get the refund? thanks

Hi everyone, I want to thank every1 on this platform that has contributed immensely to this thread. I have been goin thru dis thread for about 3 weeks now both part 1 nd 2, its very educative indeed. I have lots of questions to ask buh I'll take them gradually so I don't bore anyone. Firstly, this question goes to guys dat have been in UAE for more than 3 years now, do we have naija guys in UAE dat started earning as low as 1500dh when they first arrived nd now they re earning as high as 5000dh(let's say after their first 2 years). You could even mention some known guys here on dis thread as examples to give us hope of coming out top at d end of the whole process, thanks. I miss guys like Ogakpatakpata, Valentony, Goodtalk, Euromoney nd so many others I can't really remember right now, they really made this thread fun. I hope to hear from them if they still visit this thread, thanks
