UWI is one of the best University at the Caribbean and well recognized among caricom countries withing the Caribbean and out side the world.i will advice you go for the school it worth it...Barbados is a nice island country good for vacation but the country does not have strong economic might like Trinidad and Tobago,the Bahamas and Aruba including others...but bro with your student visa you can travel easily to TT or Bahamas and other countries to work when your done with studies or during break...

@ Fola, it is necessary you authenticate your certificates if you intend using it for work purposes over there in UAE, do it once and forget about it, you may not need it now buh you may likely need it for future purpose

For your friend over there, he may not be working based on his certificate, datz a possibility, just try 2 ask him/her

As for DIY, yes there are sites and organizations that can help you with that, let me talk like Aunty Justi, you can search for reputable tour agencies in your location to help you with that

its true we have no off days, and we work 12hrs everyday. the work is discouraging, bt all na prayers.
i dont know how your friend works because i made like 13500 to 15000 monthly nd normally, i shud get like 3500 to 4500, bt too much fines. have been getting 2600, 2800, 3700 as salary,of which i only need house rent from it. i dont spend on tfare and tips are enuff for feeding in month.

the job is discouraging, bt manageable till i find another one.. to be honest, i cant advise anybody to put head, its really difficult. nxt year Insha Allah, i will look for another job, i need a job with offdays to do some other things.

By Gods grace, I'll be in UAE in about 2/3 months time. Want 2 ask u some few questions quickly, you said u want 2 leave d taxi job, would u want to leave it to a job that pays less, let's say 1,500dh or 2,000dh monthly bcoz of the stress

Coz for som1 like you who stayed in lag, finish frm ife to be complainin of how stressful it is, then one must look in2 it seriously.

Halima the Visa was issued in UAE, Al Sharjah I ve tried but couldn't succeed. A friend of mine in Dubai confirmed it's validity yesterday, tho I still want another member of nairaland to confirm it aswell.

see gobe oooo, where i changed dollar inside MMIA, (post office stand) the guy stamped the dollar "LANE BDC LTD". He said it's used to indicate that the dollar is original and its from them should in case they said its fake outside the country, i can return it. But he assured me, that how he has been doing it for people and they had no issues. But me dey fear ooo. how person go dey inscribe on US dollars. Has anyone encountered such? or whats your view on that?

Its a normal thing they do when you meet guys changing naira into dollar, if anytin goes wrong with d dollar, u can easily trace them back with it
