Like you I am neither APC nor ever voted President Tinubu. I also believe, like you, all politicians in Nigeria are not fit for purpose, every single one of them.

However, for the bullying that Obidients indulged in, we as Nigerians are benefiting from their pain.
don't you think we should look beyond Obidient bullying and demand for the right thing from this government? At least consider those little under 18 children that didn't vote, our aged parents and some youths that didn't support politicians. Even as clueless as Buhari was, his government wasn't this hard for the common man on the street. The subsidy Tinubu removed is only benefiting himself, the governors and other politicians. The masses are going through a lot and these APC people are still projecting same Tinubu for second term including his son to rule Lagos.

I'm not Obidient. I'm not Ronus. I'm not Atikulated. I don't support any politicians as i believe they're all the same. I am a Nigerian citizens that want the best for the masses. The common man on the street benefited free education, cheap fuel, cheap goods and services, lower inflation rates under Buhari

Student Loan
compare this to free education under Buhari. Where would they get jobs to pay the loan back? What about those that had dropped out of school as the loan cannot capture everybody?

Start by telling us what you've enjoyed from previous governments?
Your state government that's closer to you, should be your focus!
But, if you're focusing on FGN, then;
*There's subsidy on electricity
*Last December till January-free train Service
*Primary health care is free
*Mosquito net is free
*Polio vacine for your kids is free
*Federal University is tuition free.

Lagos state is free education Primary to secondary
Skills training is free
Nigerians enjoyed free education from primary to university under Buhari government. We enjoyed cheap fuel, cheap goods and services, lower inflation etc

The irony of the matter is that you are the one not thinking this through… the reforms are a necessity, I understand the pain of the moment and I sincerely sympathise with everyone going through it. It is like having a big wound that needed to be covered, the hospital doesn’t have anaesthesia and the doctor is trying to manage the pain… yet the patient is angry saying can’t the doctor use his own salary to make provisions for the hospital… let’s be circumspect in our thinking… Nigeria is going through a phase…
I want you to also sympathise the pain with the politicians not only the masses. Or are they more Nigerian than the masses?

Did you ever think that the refineries could work again?
Has Nigeria ever gotten E-gate at our airports before?
Has Nigeria ever seen the kind of capabilities of that of the Tinubu innovation Centre before?
These are great benefits.
Infrastructures make nations great.
none of these things you mentioned has positive impact to the masses. None. With the refinery fuel is still over 1k compare to 160+ during Buhari. How has the refinery benefited the common man on the street? Nigerians are asking of the benefits Nigerians are getting from Tinubu government just like we got free education, cheap fuel, cheap goods and services, lower inflation etc under Buhari government. The difference is clear even to the blind

University education in public institutions is highly subsidized. The actual cost of training one student runs into millions annually. But the nigerian government's subsidy on education which is not something they shout about allows citizens get cheap tertiary education unlike in so called saner clime where it is far more expensive.

There was subsidy on dollar until it was removed by this administration, there was petroleum subsidy which has also been removed and there is subsidy on electricity which I don't know whether is still existent.

Before you ask questions like this, I think you should first tell us how much tax you pay to government coffers annually, tell us how up to date you are in paying for PHCN (NEPA) bills, which will be the basis of any entitlement mentality.
Nigerians benefited free education, cheap fuel, cheap and affordable goods and services, lower inflation etc. Tinubu came and removed the cheap education, providing loans to few students as obviously the loans can't capture everyone and i know students that dropped out of school as a result of Tinubu policies. Those who were lucky with the loans, how do they pay back in a country with high unemployment rate with 70k minimum wage?

-Policy improvement visible in social services; like passport, immigration

- electricity both quality , quantity, control,

- taxation unification, some can get his tax clearance now on button press.

-dept servicing , every Nigerian owes less not more daily.. it's going downward... Buhari and co sold this country and resources on loan

- the west is on insfrastructututal and industrial boom.. hoping it translate to employment and economic boom powered by powers be in govt

- the govt have questioned the retro bondage status quo of the system which draws the nation back through the tax reform bill... The results will determine if you will be free to experience your full potential or not .. all blames will soon be for your local governor's not the federal government

Note I'm an independent person .. this is my short observations..
how are these policies benefits the masses and common man on the street? Under Buhari, Nigerians benefited free education, cheap fuel, cheap and affordable goods and services, lower inflation etc. All these are benefited by ALL Nigerians

What are the masses benefiting from Tinubu government?

Tinubu is just one and half years in govt.
Obasanjo,Jonathan, Buhari completed their 2 terms and we know how they killed the refineries, local govts etc.
Tinubu has given life to them now.
We shall feel the positive effects soonest.
No pain,no gain
good

But for now, Nigerians are benefiting nothing in Tinubu government. A government that will be 2 years in 4 months time.

As a new father. There's availabilty of vaccines for babies and cheap pregnancy delivery in government hospital. The Government Hospital are more competent than private.
secondy i live in oyo state. Fulani herdsman killings and kidnapping as reduced to zero
3rdly economically it tough but i believe it will get better
and lastly Nigeria will be Great
only 2 points you raised obviously the 3rd and 4th is nothing but hopeful

From your first point, government hospital is a nightmare here in Lagos as most medical personnel have all relocated.

Second point, there is still high rates of insecurity in the country not only fulani herdsmen

The word Nigerians is ambiguous. The people at the national assembly are Nigerians. There are Nigerians making billions. But i want to believe that you refer to the common man. For one, anyone can access students loans and go to higher institutions unlike before. Electricity is actually starting to get better. Train transport is now a possibility depending on where you are. Most of the other tangible things for the general poor will take some time. There are many positives but i refer to what everyone can benefit from comparing to before. As per inflation, it will come down in time, we're past the worst phase after the removals of unsustainable fake life subsidies.
firstly, the students loan cannot capture all students as i personally know students that applied and didn't get it and their parents can't afford it obviously. Secondly, where Is the job to pay back such loan after school please? Where is the enabling environment to allow foreign investors or businesses to thrive? Obviously most of the beneficiary will find it difficult to pay back due to the rate of unemployment in the country. A country of 70k minimum wage.

Can you also name one thing the government is benefiting from you… after enjoying years and years of subsidy?

Most of our parents enjoyed free education, including Kemi Badenoch’s father… yet we cry like newly hatched chicks as though we benefit nothing…
the government are benefiting from our commonwealth and tax payers money. We're the employer of the government. They're there for us not for themselves even though we know they're there for themselves and families. We pay them and sponsor their luxury lifestyle through our commonwealth and tax payers money.

Oya mention just one thing Nigerians are benefiting from Tinubu government. For instance, during Buhari government Nigerians benefited free education, cheap fuel, lower inflation rate, lower cost of goods and services etc.. these are what i benefited from Buhari government as a common man on the street.

What are you benefiting from Tinubu government?

Yes. I know government education might be relatively not pocket-friendly. .. but have compare it with any of the private school with the same standard. ...

Some years ago, my university school fee was only one thousand plus Naira. Meanwhile, some schools, such as Babcock, Madonna University, were collecting...800k at the time....and I continued to pay 1K plus from my 300 level down to my 400 level.....and I enjoyed virtually all of the facilities in the school .free.of.charge. .....with 1k
why did Tinubu remove even education away from the masses? I still pay 15k and i know those who paid 10k for a federal University during Buhari time. Why 250-300k barely 3 months after Buhari? Which family can afford that please be sincere? Where is the job after school even if government provides loan? Remember even the loan cannot capture everybody o.

If you have any of your child in the university, pull them away from the government university and register them in a privately owned university. Then you will know how the government has favored you.
Get rid of education from your life. Then you realize how ridiculous your life will be.
you're right. Government favoured me in terms of cheap and affordable education but that end the moment Buhari left office. I paid 15k tuition fees per year in a federal University during Buhari time but now same school are paying 250k as tuition fees which obviously most average Nigerians can afford.

The Akpaamunsi of a man is actually a naturalised Australian citizen who was a one time PDP politician from Anambra state at the House of Representatives. He's simply envious, typical of so-called Nigerian elites, that an ordinary Nigerian could achieve the same citizenship stuff as he did.

Nigerian elites hate it when the citizens prosper and aspire to be like them. It says a lot how they run the country. Do As I Say, Not As I Do.
very apt

Ogbeni your statement is not entirely correct. That we decide to usually speak English doesn't mean it's the norm, you're allowed to express yourself in the major three languages of the federation and English.

The norm of always speaking English makes it look like it's always been like this, but in reality it's not, officially we operate four languages.
which four languages? Do you write any national exam in those languages?
