Unofficially, he won more than that but every honest person saw what happened with the IREV and we know that Tinubu bought INEC over.

Now to address your statement bolded below:

Many Yorubas voted for Obi, especially amongst the middle and upper class.

They got up and walked to the polling booth and pressed their thumbs against LP.

Many who observed this commended them for choosing competence over tribe.

The problem was what happened next once INEC announced Tinubu as winner after the shenanigans they played against Obi.

The same people who KNEW that Tinubu was a bad choice and therefore voted against him..... immediately switched to supporting him once he was declared winner.

That shocked many people. HOW!!!

Everyone who was old enough knew the role Yorubas played in opposing Abacha once he decided to become a civilian president.

The Yorubas single-handedly gathered strong men and women from other tribes to join in the battle against him. That was how NADECO gained ground.

We all thought that the Yorubas did so because they didn't want military rule.

With hindsight we realise now that the real motivation was not love for the nation but because MKO was a fellow Yoruba man who had won Presidency but was being denied.

Now, the rest of Nigeria has seen what most of the Yorubas stand for - let's support our own even if he is the worst choice.

How sad. How so very sad.

Now Tinubu has shown his level of incompetence is many times worse than Buhari and Jonathan combined.

You can't point to ANY single outstanding minister he has appointed.

Most Nigerians can't name more than 4 ministers as the rest are busy stealing and don't care to come out and be seen working.

So how come there is no Yoruba opposition to Tinubu's disastrous government?

Where are the Yorubas who call a spade a spade and not an agricultural implement?

I hope with this exposition things are clearer to you now.
