There is a saying that Peter Obi supporters create a scenario in their heads and start passing it around as true. Peter Obi has corruption case files with EFCC, CCB, ICPC, NPF and even Metropolitan Police in Uk. His case with several anti corruption bodies is not different from the cares of other former governors with the same bodies. The difference is just that Peter Obi supporters keep trying to downplay his cases and try to magnify that of other.

As for why you want Obi as your president, that’s your personal business as it is allowed under our democracy. However, for discerning people like myself who saw his woeful performance as governor of Anambra State, I surely will not even want him as a councilor of my ward not to talk about president of a diverse and challenged country like Nigeria.

NO where in the world is their absolute freedom of speech and if you make verbal or written threats against an American President like that teenage British boy who sent a threat email to the then President Obama's email, the U.S. Intelligence agencies will have you picked up and that's what they did by contacting the British Intelligence agency to track the boy up.

Someone went to jail in France for attacking the French President in public, so, I wonder what gives some of these ignorant posters on Page 1 the audacity to think that you can get away with relentlessly defaming any world President or leader including the one in Nigeria? Ignorance of the law is NOT an excuse and Omoyele Sowere (who said in a short video I saw last year that he is Ijaw contrary to public beliefs) will have to provide EVIDENCE to back up his defamatory comments BUT I totally disagree with those who unwisely said he should be ignored. He has INFACT done a lot of damage to the publuc image of other people including the deliberate spread of disinformation online.

He and those pushing him on will learn some punishing lessons down the road.
