The omoluabis are to be blame for this 'no mans land' madness by the igbos, especially the called woke ones.
An Akwa Ibom man in my office who had worked accross the length and breadth of the south-east narrated how igbos don't mind wiping out a whole generation for a sqft of land. Look at the madness all over the world. Which tribe soils the name of the country other than them.
I hope my woke brothers have learned. Something they cannot try with the Hausas in Kano or Kaduna.
Pains is that you? Please make your comments without crying 😁🤣

If u don't want ur indigenous land to be owned by other tribes ' don't sell it or give it out as federal Capital Territory to be developed by other people's oil and gas and then turn round to be forming indigenous landlord or owners.. lol . Its continous work in progress. What is going on offline is more than what's going on Online.
Whatever is going on in the office and online is nothing but change of streets names, does street names stop businesses or causes destruction of properties? We should be careful not to put ourselves in big trouble that we consume us, as for streets names changing they should continue until further notice, they will stop when they get tired of it, 😁😁🤣 ire oo

I don laugh tire on the 1st page with their tears everywhere.

You would think Yoruba and Igbo are cousins or we share a boundary. They are very covetous of properties of others. Thats why they are having problems in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam e.t.c

You can see them pulling the usual victim mentaility card. Thats what they do when they realized that they have been cornered.

Lagos is smelly, lagos is backward, lagos is thi, lagos is that but that same Lagos is their London 🤣🤣🤣
True talk, they deport many Yorubas back to Osun and Oyo states few months ago, my question is why can’t Yorubas develop other Yoruba states like Lagos? We can’t allow Sanwo Olu to keep deporting our people now and then 🤣🤣😁😁

Bros calm down. Nobody is arguing with you that Lagos is not no man's land.

Let "no man" go and change the names of the streets to the old Igbos names since it's no man's land.

And bros you didn't answer my question, did Anambra do the same to ebonyi or not? Pls be sincere cos I just read it on internet, I don't know how true it is.
Change to whatever name you want, it will not affect anybody, it’s a waste of time by Lagos government, ire oo

your problem is you comment on a matter that is beyond your knowledge. I will repeat for you and for anyone reading. The lagos you call federal territory is ikoyi, VI, lagos island and yaba. The rest of what is now lagos state were annexed territories from ijebu, Egba, yewa and Egun people and are larger by land mass and population than the cindigines of the original lagos federal territory. the inhabitants of these tribes intermarried so it should not be surprising to the knowledgeable that a man whose father comes from Ogun Osun, Oyo etc is a also a lagosian. If my father comes from ijebu Ode and my mother comes from Epe, they are both Ijebu. These places which today make up 93% of Lagos state were under the western region and were not and never called or part of the federal capital. For example Epe, Lekki and Ikorodu are ijebu people! Recently the oba of Epe lost a large expanse of land to the late Awujale because that land was ancestral Ijebu land tied to the palace in ijebu. If as part of the creation of Lagos state you remove some ijebu people from Western region and add them to the new state called lagos state, they dont stop being Ijebu people by ancestry. By the same token it shouldnt surprise you that some people even though they today be classified as coming from ogun state are also ancestrally linked to lagos state as a result of the annexation of their ancestral lands to create lagos state. for example on the mothers side. this is the reason someone like Yayi can be a senator in lagos state and ogun state.

either way a state is an artificial concept, tomorrow lagos or Imo or Kaduna states may not exist but the ancestry, origins and cultural identity of the inhabitants doesnt change.

An Ife man is an Ife man whether ife was under Southern protectorate, western region, western state, Oyo state or Osun state. He remains an indigine of Ife and remains in his ancestral land.

Lagos State is made of up the original indigines of what was the federal territory of lagos plus the other yoruba subnationals, ijebus, egba, yewas, eguns, ijeshas etc that were carved out of the western region and amalgamated to make the new Lagos STATE!

i dont understand ibo culture, you wont find me commenting on their culture. if you dont know the history of nuances of other peoples cultures or inter relationships, its best to either ask or keep your mouth shut!
What is this long epistle, trust me with time, you guys will come terms with the reality of accepting Lagos is for all Nigerians

Channel this your energy into positive production, whatever you wrote here is never going to stop Lagos from been no man’s land as far is part of Nigeria

Rivers state did the same thing. They change all the igbo street name s too.

I heard Anambra did same for ebonyi state, I don't know how true that is but I am very sure of the one of rivers state
This is a waste of time and energy, even if you like change the name every months, Lagos will still remain no man’s land, live and let’s live

I won’t stop hammering this issue on the head of non Igbo in SS geo political zone.. ” Anybody after ore is Omo Nna in the eyes of average yorub man on the street”

What a tribe !!!!

When you erase their names, you cant erase the legacies of these people on the minds of the locals that made the streets to be named after them ..

Very petty, myopic and parochial mentality!!
They have lost it entirely. Pathetic 😁😁🤣
