Instead of putting your smartphone away in your pocket, Lenovo wants you to bend your phone around your wrist. YouTube personality Meghan McCarthy showed off the flexible smartphone during during Lenovo’s Tech World conference Thursday, taking a pretty standard-looking smartphone and bending it around her wrist like a slap bracelet. She then proceeded to take a tablet and bend it right in half to show how a tablet could also be comfortably used to take a phone call with bendable technology. Lenovo SVP and CTO Peter Hortensius told the audience that the technology not only has a bendable screen, but also bendable hardware components like motherboards and batteries. Lenovo did not announce any names or potential release dates for its new flexible electronics, although Hortensius mentioned that McCarthy should be careful with them because “they cost a little bit more than your average phone or tablet right now.” More information about Lenovo’s flexible smartphone and tablet may come out later during the conference. Lenovo’s announcement comes just a couple days after Samsung showed off and announced its own bendable smartphones, which will likely be available in early 2017 http://www.newsmath.com/lenovo-just-showed-off-bendable-smartphones-tablets/

Fact: The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a sexy phone. New fact: The Batman-themed Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition is even sexier. The bundle includes a special S7 Edge with Batman logo and gold trims, all-black Gear VR headset, an armored Batman case, earbuds and a gold batarang. Though the Injustice Edition bundle isn’t available in the U.S. (only China, Korea, Singapore, Russia and Latin America currently), Mashable got to check the set out and unbox all the Batman goodies. Our verdict: Stealth black everything is HOT. Really, really hot. The Injustice Edition Galaxy S7 Edge has the same specs as the original: 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, 3,600 mAh battery, 12-megapixel f/1.7 rear camera and 5-megapixel f/1.7 front-facing camera, water-resistance and wireless charging. As the international model, the phone’s rocking an Exynos 8890 processor instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip and 4GB of RAM. The software, specifically TouchWiz, has been given the Batman makeover. Many of the core apps sport new black and gold icons and there have been some internal aesthetic changes, like the phone dialer. The blacked out Gear VR is equally slick and worthy of something the Caped Crusader would wear himself. But enough yapping, let’s look at the loot: http://www.newsmath.com/unboxing-sleek-batman-samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-gear-vr/
