The Jamb score counts for you to qualify but ur jamb score won't be used in calculating ur post utme scores. As for the mass comm, even if they'll have to reduce the cut off mark, it won't be less than 200 becos it was 220 last year despite the mass failure in jamb. I'll advice if the person can apply for a change of course form when the post utme form is out, the person can switch to a related course that is less than 200.

Over 21000 candidates out of 44000 that sat for the post utme last year scored 50 percent and above, which out of the 21000, UNILORIN admitted 12650+. So how is it possible for someone with less than 50 percent in his/her post utme got admitted without the assistance of anyone, even when the least cut off was 50 percent, when i even have some that scored 60 percent and above and were'nt addmitted?

Firstly which course is he going for? Becos UNILORIN cherish their post utme very much, that's why you have to prepare very well for it and their is nothing like dividing Jamb score. 50 questions, 100 marks. Even if you score 400 in jamb and 48 percent in UNILORIN post utme, d person is going no where becos last year cut off was 50, which i think they'll also follow this year due to competition.

I really can't answer that, because it depends. If there is mass failure in JAMB they're likely to reduce it but if many candidates passed, they're also likely to increase it because mass comm is always competitive. And i made a mistake in last year cut off, it was 220 (which is d highest) for mass comm while medicine and surgery was 215. Also don't forget that 107,000 candidates will be vying for 12,650+ space ( if and only if they'll follow last year's mode of admission) to UNILORIN this year.

This is to all UNILORIN (better by far) aspirants, pls and pls don't fall into d hands of fraudsters. There is nothing like result upgrade for both UTME and POST UTME. If your result is out, just start preparing for your post utme. Some will post on this same thread that they'll help you with your admission and they'll drop there numbers, pls don't fall into their trap. Just read and pray, the two alone is enough to secure your admission. Just aim for 50 percent upward in your post utme and you're automatically in. It doesn't matter maybe you're a christian or a muslim, non-indigene of kwara state or indigene, UNILORIN will only give admission to qualified candidates. Wishing you all the best. Yes, they accept both waec and neco combination, they're both O'level results but not in all courses they accept 2 sittings.

Last year utme cut off mark for mass comm was 215, but it might not be the same for this year.

Remedial class is starting by march 13 and the registration form is out

To all UNILORIN 2015/2016 aspirants, i wish you all the best in your forthcoming UTME exam. Read and study well and put GOD first in all that you do because admission to the great UNILORIN is not ' i know all what they are going to ask becos i've studied well so let me go and blast it' it's by the grace of GOD, so study well and pray. And besides concerning the O'level and UTME combination for each of ur respective courses, everything is on the school site only on unilorin.edu.ng. I still have more things to let you know about UNILORIN admission and feel free to post on this thread becos we're all students, just let this be my introductory message.
